Trying to decide on a 2-handed weapon for a weapon master build. Scythe and falchion don't really do anything for me, despite being the best choices from a gameplay perspective.
What do you think, greatsword? I'd like to avoid burning a feat on exotic weapons, and I could get behind the idea of using a claymore.

Use a bill hook.
Also what system.

Oh, 3.5. Everyone's favorite.
>>45969286
Shit, are billhooks even a thing? I'm just seeing glaives and halberds.
Yeah, guess I'll go with a greatsword.
Good meeting, everyone.

>Falchion
>Two handed
wut

Beats me, that's what it says in the manual.

I don't think tabletop gamers ever really wrapped their minds around most of the more "swiss army knife"-ey polearms.

Except GURPS, where you can custom build weapons to have hooks, spikes, etc that add optional rules to attacks.

Tell the manual that this is a falchion.
Maybe it means grosse messer?

Use an estoc.
>>45970952
It's the system that has studded leather armor and plate that is heavier than chain.
billhook or bill - it's a peasant's or militia weapon

Spear.
Halbeard
Or go for retarded weapons from dnd - like zweihander with a ball on chain attached to the pommel.

+1 for estoc.
