The film Moulin Rouge. This is the scene where they redo "Like A Virgin" into a Busby Berkeley number and create what may well be the gayest scene ever put to film.

It's not on youtube, so I have to recommend you dig up the movie and watch it. It's pretty good.

And you're what, investigating Bart Simpson's death? Sounds like an interesting story arc.

Actually scratch that, laughing gas isn't flammable.

According to a news article it was some kinda anti-static spray that was leaking.

Okay.

Every initial game with a new DM I've ended up in a multiverse campaign. No joke, it wasn't planned that way and none of them were new to DMing or anything. Only one of them really had a boner for defaulting to that kind of game though. The upside to all of this is that I got very good at dealing with wibbly wobbly timey shit and operating outside of a world unlike my character's. At the price of never wanting to play a multiverse time shenanigans game ever again.

Well, you say 'ended up'. Does this mean when it reached a very high level? Could be seen as the natural progression, becoming fishes too big for a single-universe pond.

One of those games could be described like that. Still got really crazy with other ones it was the plot for most of the game and happened when our characters were almost or at mid-level. Now these did have their differences, oh boy they did, but you can condense them all as something like

>oh shit! Some asshat (either BBEG or just some dumb asshole) fucked with the space time continuum!
>You're now displaced and/or chosen to fix it somehow which usually involves traveling across the multiverse through portal hopping or an extremely passive DMPC with this specific warp power
>No one else seems capable of fixing it but that's alright you'll manage somehow
>Even in the futuristic worlds and times despite half or all of you being armored and from a time where gunpowder was barely used

To all their credit. None of them used this as an excuse to bring in other established settings or characters like stuff from movies and anime. Thank god for that.

I ran a super robot campaign that ended up as this in the second season.

There's an all-present energy source you can harvest that's both INFINITE and also can really fuck you up. That, and it works on emotions, more specifically on anger.

A sentient mech lost it's pilot and went berserk.

He ended up turning into some abomination that kept growing stronger and became so powerful he blew up his original timeline, and he ended up so mad he kept blowing up everything he could find even after his original timeline got blown up.

The group defeated it by causing a time paradox by creating another version of said abomination, having the newly created one fight the original, which caused the newly created one to get fucked up as it wasn't as strong as the original due to lack of power building. As the newly created one was created in the same timeline as the original one, the original one ended up getting fucked up and losing his main energy core, making it able to be harmed now.

The entire campaign spanned over a year and it was well worth it.

What's wrong with multiverses?

Time travel is shit, though.
