I can't tell if Soldier is completely in-character or out of character.
Playing with Pauling and Heavy could be fun but soldier is too dense to play with and Scout is only interested in Pauling not the game.

I played a campaign once where the party was five Rogues and a Cleric/Rogue multiclass.
It was one of the best campaigns I've ever played.
Course this required us to be constantly thinking about how to do things the smart way and we had a DM who played to our strengths rather then just had us run a meat-grinder.
