Human Paragon swordsman with artifact sword, desert wind special attacks? Vengeful trait?

I think flaming quickdraw sword attacks, vergil style moves, and a cocky attitude all fit pretty easily into the DtD/exalt system and leave plenty of room for actual originality on his part.

Our DM is pretty laid back, but you're right, it will be a bitch to use the special attack if he rules it that way. My hope is that if he rolls a paragon and uses stunts for the special attack it won't be as bad for him.

If anyone could use such a weird ass impractical weapon in an RPG, it seems like a paragon would be best suited stylistically and ruleswise.

If anything, I recommend ditching the notion of having this in a DnD setting and.... fuck, i dunno, make a RWBY setting, where madness, ultra-choreographed, super-acrobatic, my-sword-is-also-a-rocket-launcher combat is welcome/required.

Thanks guys, this has been extremely helpful. I'll encourage him to not try to immediately make sam, but to rather aim to get those abilities over the course of the game while figuring out what original additions he wants to make to the character.
