More missions, slower progression, longer, deeper tech tree. More class types for your soldiers (Infantry are love, Infantry are life) MECs have classes. Eggsalt are fucking assholes. Enemies are crazy bullshit, scaling health, etc. (12 HP thin mints with regeneration, I'm around august, I think).
I think a lot of it is pretty bullshit, but it's also loads of fun. Oh, and "Spam Satellites" is not quite as effective or feasible.
