Truth be told about >>45578051, I think Iron Hands should have a bigger chance of being rolled. I can't see any reason they shouldn't have at least as many successors as any of the others. There are just less of them noted in canon because they're not super popular.

I can't be the only one who finds Orks v. Space Marines a really fucking bland match up? That said, I think master of the forge would be too straight forward. It mixes stuff up for this group to apparently field exceptional psykers. Or at least one exceptional psyker.

We are a chapter founded to serve as a Standing force in a Sector/subsector that needed one or just had none. Founded in the 32nd millenium, making us quite an old chapter by now, we are founded from the Gene seed of the Iron Hands but it is not quite pure and has... well, we lack either the black carapace or progenoids(I imagine this is somewhat recent, but who knows), we are merciless much like our progenitor. Our figure of legend was/is a chief Librarian and the bane of orks(we can re-roll this if it is too boring), we are based on a hiveworld with a temperate climate which we have a distant relationship with.

Taking some ques from >>45578230 and Destiny in general, I can kinda see them as Guardians of a particularly lush and habitable world that is pretty much constantly under attack.

After literally millenia of defending their world against constant attacks, it's starting to take it's toll on the geneseed, with fewer and fewer marines able to be created every generation. Now, they can't make any more. So they either have to figure something out or, in their minds, be able to fight forever.

The Psyker is famous for fucking magic punching an invading Ork Warboss in the mouth and blowing his head clean off. It's not their primary enemy, just another foe that's come knocking on their world/subsectors door.
