Ohran has Panomiras send diplomats to the Gnomes, and asks them to not speak of us to other races without permission, as a token of our friendship, we give them a monopoly on our tea trade.

Meanwhile, in the Great City, Culture flourishes! Tailors begin crafting beautiful clothing as to show unity between our peoples, Musicians begin appearing and playing music that should be called divine, and Artists begin painting and sculpting amazing works!

The Diplomats sent to the Orcs bring with them knowledge of Complex mining tools, as a gift to the Orc people to show that they are friendly. They will return in a month's time.

Secretly Dwarves? Pretty sure we picked Humans in the first thread!

Ohran recieves a vision that something great would happen in the mines, and something great did indeed happen. Whilst mining, and certaintly not taking a tea break, a group of miners had found MASSIVE Mithralis veins, as well as a large amount of gold, silver, and diamonds. But that is not all, for they had found a metal that seemed like Mithralis, yet was blue in color, they wonder what should be done with it.

>Gained Untold Riches (Again)!
>Found unknown metal (Again)!

The Gnomes happily take a monopoly on the tea trade, and will give us one favor completely free of charge.

The Diplomats sent to converse with the Orcs return with beautifully crafted time-telling items, called "Clocks", an Orc invention used to tell time. These are quite useful indeed, and are a sign of just how good the Orc relations went.

52+2+20 Vision bonus!

The miners take a piece of the metal to Ohran, wherein he inspects it, and can feel it's grand magical properties, and tells that it is a purer form of Mithralis, innately enchanted, and better recieving of Enchantments.

Meanwhile, the Gnomish king, as a gift to our peoples, as thanks for our friendship, gives us the knowledge of Alchemy. With this knowledge we can now craft potions, and with our knowledge of medicinal herbs we are also able to create powerful healing potions, as well as antidotes and restoratives.

Going with Religion. 87+13=100! Perfect results!

Ohran suddenly recieves visions while praying, and is given many answers from Solana herself. He is told that the land became as it is now because of a great calamity long ago, and that she herself had split it and granted each race the land that they deserved, the Gnomes recieved the magic-enriched lands, the Orcs recieved the ore-rich lands, and her favored peoples, the Humans and Elves recieved the richest lands of all, for their ancestors had worshipped her, and now they, their descendants do as well. He is given many more answers and gifts of knowledge to be spread among their people. She tells him that their own island is guarded by a great protector, and they have no need to fear great damage to the People.

He's right. We should teach those filthy Drow how to be clean. Give them soaps and scented herbs as an offering of peace.
>>
Rolled 86 (1d100)

>>45570807
We can't attack. Only defend. That's the core reason anyone we have is armed at all. That's the horrible thing. These guys are shit in Melee combat, so if they attack us, we win and bring a Treant/Nature Dragon down on their asses, but they'll just mind control the party instead.

Rolling to GTFO

86+11=97. Here I was hoping for the bad ending! ;P

The scouting party feels a dark sense of forevoding among themselves, and suddenly, aided by the land itself, disappear before the Drow's eyes, bolting back the Sol as fast as they can, bringing a report of the Drow people back to Ohran.

Ohran then recieves a foreboding vision about them. How strong is this vision? Roll 1d100 to see just what Ohran finds out. Taking the best if the first three rolls.

Ohran's vision is clear enough that he can see that the Drow are smart enough to not invade them, but feels that he must warn the Gnomes of the Drow.

A party of diplomats are sent to warn the Gnomish kingdom of the threat of the Drow.

In other news, potions of mind defence suddenly become far more popular.

A 4? Perfect!

Grave news. It's been a month, yet the diplomats sent to warn the Gnomes have not returned. Worse yet is that scouts have recieved reports of a short, bearded army preparing for war. They will likely be here in 1 to 3 years.

Worser still, quite a few scouting parties have gone missing!

Sickness also breaks out among the people. Fortunately, with our knowledge of healing, this does not affect us.

>Gnomes not warned!

No. We will not attack. Let them come to us. Our Druidic Magic can keep us fed long enough to outlast any Siege. Our main concern with the Dwarves is to keep them from storming the city itself. Sol just needs to be prepared for a siege.

I back >>45571513 on the basis that we can win a defensive war, provided we have the resources to fight defensively.
>>
>>45571637
Also provided we take advantage of that Nat 100 to contact the gnomes.

Exactly how pacifist are our human druids though?
I'm sure they can at least summon elementals to defend our home.
In fact, we should teach basic summoning magic to all humans so they can aid the more experienced in summoning circles to call allies into battle.

What exactly can our druids do? Anything to help in combat indirectly?
>>
>>45571502
>>45571519
100+15=115. Amazing!

Ohran is worried, and rightly so. He orders another party to warn the Gnomes and to do it as swiftly as possible, and he orders the construction of grand defences for Sol, as the Holy City must not fall.

When the Diplomats return, they tell of great news! The Gnomish king had already prepared for the Drow mind tricks, and had warned the Orcs as well. Both the Orcs and Gnomes have sent troops to help defend our people!

>Gained:
>200 Orc Warriors

The time has come. The Dwarves have arrived. Roll 1d100 to see how we fare in battle.

No siege engines, sorry. We're the defenders, not the attackers.

As the Dwarf line approached the foritfied gates of the Holy City of Sol, blessed place of Solana, the Elven lines fired volley upon volley of arrows, Gnomish Magicians casting all sorts of magical spells, from Fireballs to horrifying illusions, and the Orcish warbands dancing gracefully through the Dwarves like a bull in a china shop, killing them all, without even a scratch upon their hides!

Truly, these lands are blessed by the Goddess!
