Alright, this is a continuation of yesterday's civ.

To Recap:
>Humans have become Peaceful Druids in a permanent alliance with the Elves, whom have no Peace compulsions.

>We have started work on a permanent settlement, it is approx. 75% finished. We have also built a school, and began to further education among the peoples.
>We have no fear of hunger because of the Human's Druidic Magic.
>We have two languages. The commontongue spoken by both Humans and Elves, and Druidic, spoken by both Humans and Elves only in religious or private meetings, as well as for casting Druidic magic, but is never to be taught to outsiders.

>We have 3 Special People.
>Ohran, The Blind Prophet
>Panomiras, The Druidic Chieftain
>Anen Malla, the Elf Queen.

We currently have:
>40 Humans
>42 Elves
>20 Wolves

It is now Spring, and the people are currently working on finishing the settlement, as well as enhancing the land with Druidic magic.

Roll a 1d100 to see how the land is affected.
>>

Hm sorry no one wants to play right now, but i really like your setting. Druids are the best way of human life anyway

An 81? Nice!

Panomiras, and a few others set out to enhance the land with their druidic magic, and the results are beyond their expectations! The grass turns greener, the river suddenly begins to flow more, looking as if it was never dried in the first place, and many of the fruit trees and berry bushes begin to blossom earlier than they should. Everything feels healthier.

>Tribe morale increases.
>Feast is held.

What now?
>Finish building the settlement.

Sweet rolls.

In the last year, 18 Human children were born, and 10 Elven children were born, what fortune!

The tribes begin finishing up the settlement, and now a town has been built in the area. Now that the town has been finished, education also flourishes in the school that was already built. As a result, new knowledge has been added for free.

A 67? Not bad.

The tribes have decuded to send some scouts out to explore the surrounding areas. Two elves armed with bows and three humans will go as the scouting party. About a week later they return with news of a civilization of short, magical peoples, whom call themselves "Gnomes" are living but a few days West, on another island close to ours. They are wary of us, but are neither hostile, nor friendly.

How do we react?

>>

If a tribe is 40 humans and 42 elves, is it really a 'human' tribe anyome? Seems more like a confederacy... Welp, whatever, we need to get breeding outside the tribe FAST, as 40 people is going to result in some two-headed babies before long...
>>
>>45560543
I guess it depends on if the humans are in charge or, at least, more powerful than the Elves.
>>
>>45560362
64 isn't bad.

Panomiras takes a few druids with him, and informs the Gnomes that they will improve their lands. The Gnomes are skeptical until they notice that some of the fruits and such look and taste healthier and larger as well.

Panomiras and Anen Malla held council to discuss a new issue, currency. They had come to an agreement that they would need some form of a currency to progress trade with the Gnomes. But how? What would it be made of and how would it be backed?

Sweet roll. Iron currency it is.

The tribes begin learning how to mine, and learn they do! Your people begin mining from an extremely large vein of iron that they had found, and begin minting purified coins enhanced with druidic magic, both allowing them to be recognizable, and never rust. A few of these coins are shown to the Gnomish diplomats, and they are overjoyed at these coins, declaring them better than their own!

>The tribe is now considered extremely Wealthy by the Gnomes.
>Relations with the Gnomes increases massively.

Panomiras sends some diplomats with 300 Iron pieces as a gift to the Gnomes, as well as a message of peace intended to cement an alliance. The Gnomes readily agree, as they can tell that an alliance, and more importantly, a friendship, shall bring great things to both sides.

As a proof of friendship, the Gnomes gift the tribes with the knowledge of fine books, which can be used to further education of the peoples.

The Tribes decide to develop a better agricultural aspect and a better infrastructure of their code of laws. This will take some time.

3 years pass, relatively quickly and in this time, about 94 Humans and 94 Elves are born in this time. The people celebrate this as a sign of their prosperity, as this is an unexpected boom in the population.

During this time, Agriculture was improved immensely (Bonus given for Druidic Magic) to the point that they could supply the Gnomes with more than enough food if they wished and still have more than enough for themselves, and the infrastructure of their code of laws was improved slightly, causing some laws to be more understandable.

The people have begun to idolize Ohran, and insist that he be rule over all of them, with his fair and wise nature, as well as being the prophet of their Goddess, this seems like the only answer. Panomiras and Anen Malla accept him as the new leader and act as his advisors.

>New form of Government, Theology.

The people now begin to research botany, and to their surprise seem to have created a multitude of healing herbs, ranging from being able to speed up the recovery proccess of a wound, curing fevers, and Ohran's favorite, being able to reduce headaches and induce sleep easier. The people have also learned that brewing some of the herbs with water has created a completely beneficial and tasty drink, the Elves have taken to calling "Tea".

>Gained Medicinal herbs and knowledge of Tea.

The people then begin to expand the mines, and to their surprise they find all sorts of strange metals and jewels, from what appears to be gold and silver, as well as rubies, emeralds, and what seems like it could be diamond as well. But strangly, there is another metal, that seems like it could be some sort of mixture between silver and iron. It appears magical as well.

Ohran suddenly collapses upon the floor, convulsing and grabs his head, when all of a sudden he rises, perfectly healthy, in fact, he seems healthier than before. He then seems shocked at the fact that he can now see once more! In addition, he had recieved a powerful vision, from the Goddess herself, telling him her name and giving him the gift of greater Druid magic as a reward for his faithfulness. He had also been gifted with the knowledge on how to improve their town, and expand it to become greater, as well as instruction on what to do with the Mithralis.

60+40=100, Theocracy and Vision bonus. Now counts for both furthering Religion and Working on the Shrine.

29 Humans are born during this time, as well as 24 Elves. Hooray!

Ohran himself leads the construction of the Shrine to the Goddess, who's name has has revealed as Solana, Lady of the Land. Ohran also preaches and spreads her teachings he has recieved to all whom would listen to him, which is to say everyone.

Work on the shrine finishes far earlier than believed, which leads to a great celebration among the peoples, as the shrine depicts a woman of great beauty beyond words, smiling joyously. Any who approach the shrine feel an unexplained joy run through them, as if their sorrow is lifted from them, and any ailments feel lighter.

It appears that Weapons are the way to go.

Anen Malla, Ohran's Elven advisor has requested to be able to make Blessed Weapons from Mithralis, as while the Humans have forbade themselves weapons, the Elves have not. She argues that one day they may have to defend thenselves from a threat such as the race that would covet the Mithralis and wishes to form an Elven guard. Ohran, finally agrees on the condition that the weapons shall only be used in defence if the people, and has them commisioned. This move is not popular among the Humans, but is considered neccesary.

97+20=117! Amazing!

120 Humans and 86 Elves are born. What a joyous event!

Ohran goes and blesses each and every member of the newly formed Elven Guard, granting them a supernatural keen sight, sense of smell, strength, and speed, essentially creating magically enhanced super-soldiers whom excel in using bows and swords. He also blesses the guard's Wolf companions, causing them to grow in size and strength, as well as causing some to show a supernatural intelligence.

These massive blessing cause Ohran and many others to believe that it was the right decision and that it was santioned by Solana herself.

A WOLF, meeting with a lamb astray from the fold, resolved not to lay violent hands on him, but to find some plea, which should justify to the lamb himself, his right to eat him.

He then addressed him: "Sirrah, last year you grossly insulted me."
"Indeed," bleated the lamb in a mournful tone of voice: "I was not then born."

Then said the wolf: "You feed in my pasture."
"No, good sir," replied the lamb: "I have not yet tasted grass."

Again said the wolf: "You drink of my well."
"No," exclaimed the lamb: "I never yet drank water, for as yet my mother's milk is both food and drink to me."

Upon which the wolf seized him and ate him up, saying: "Well! I won't remain supper-less, even though you refute every one of my imputations."

We best get over that naive, unrealistic pacifist idea we have real quick, cause people who want what is ours sure aren't gonna care.

Well the only people we have to trade with at the moment are the gnomes. I say we start selling them the Tea we started making ages ago.

I think we should also take into consideration how our government will hold up in coming generations, when we don't have Ohran to give prophecies and be an amazing leader. Theocracies need very strong central leadership.

I actually just thought of that point when i posted the other comment, but we should ask Ohran to ask the Goddess about how succession should work

Elen Malla requests that armor be made for the Elven Guard, and this is accepted, as such, the Elven guard is equipped with the finest armor that can be made by our people, and now are fully armed and equipped to deal with ay threats.

Something surprising has happened however, as it has been found out that Humans and Elves can interbreed, with 25 Half-Elven children being born! The people are worried at first, but Ohran sees this as a good thing, as such the people are calmed and welcome the new additions to the People warmly.

The Great City is fortified by the Elven guard and is more than ready to defend itself.
