Alright /tg/, its that time again. Time to make a Daemon Prince.

Give me an alignment:
>Khorne
>Nurgle
>Tzeench
>Slaanesh
>Malal
>A Lesser Chaos God
>Chaos Undivided
>>
>>45513135
When was the last time we had one of these? A month?
>>
Nurgle, because why the fuck not
>>
Quick reminder that we already created a Tzeenchian, a Khornate, and a Slaaneshi.
>>
>>45513161
I second this.
>>
>>45513161
Okay for Nurgle, but not a fatty. Something more like an emaciated skeleton carrying plagues and stuff.
>>
>>45513298
This
>>
I had an idea for a nurgle guy who focuses more on the despair aspect than the plague aspect. He certainly uses plagues, but as a tool to break entire worlds.

He finds bulwarks of faith and strength: heroes, icons, entire worlds, and destroys then comprehensively.
>>
>>45513341
Heh, I don't know. Normally, nurglites are pretty cheerful guys who only want to "share" with you and give you a big "friendly" hug. They are like that snotty kid who wants to hug you but keeps getting it everywhere...
>>
>>45513161
>>45513245
>>45513298
>>45513307
>>45513341
>>45513488
>All are welcome in Papa's embrace....

Nurglite it is!

Now for the weapon:
>Staff
>Sword
>Mace
>Scythe
>Hammer
>Unarmed/Fist Weapons
>Natural Weapons (Ex. Claws)
>Custom
>Write In
>>
>>45513341
On the other hand, I would see a guy that looks fairly normal and infiltrates the Imperium to wreck havoc from the inside by infecting everyone whose hands he shakes.
He is genuinely offend when you confront him for his act and he claims all he did was "share the gift of Papa Nurgle".

I mean for once, let's make an actual "subtle" daemon. He would have to be extra sneaky, but he could get away with it by making "distraction plagues".

That wouldn't mean he couldn't be a threat in actual combat, of course.
>>
>>45513576
Custom: Chains, lots of rusty/spiky chains that slither on the ground and infect the poor mortal with tetanos and other bad crap.
>>
>>45513595
Oh, and psychotropic diseases just to make the whole shebang even more paranoiac.
>>45513607
So yeah, infected chains with poison.
>>
>>45513341
>>45513298
I can get behind both of these. Too much of Nurgles stuff is the cliched fat and fatherly stuff. I'd like to see a depiction of a Nurglite as an emaciated harbinger of plague, bringing death and despair to all around him with wasting diseases that leave them all almost skeletonized even before they truly die.

Kind of a grim reaper looking fellow, he sees his work as the inevitable entropy of death. He wants the universe to be quiet and still, finally free of suffering and conflict. He makes his victims unable to move or act as they shrivel into nothingness.
>>
>>45513607
I vote this.
>>
>>45513694
But isn't Nurgle about life in it's most extreme expression?
>>
>>45513738
Ultimately, Nurgle is about stagnation and entropy. Him being about life has always seemed counter intuitive, especially in relation to his rivalry with Tzeentch. Life is change, and is always changing.
>>
>>45513738
Which is what makes him different!
Almost all Daemon princes we made were deviant from the norm. Example, the Slaaneshi was actually a Magos before becoming a Daemon prince, the Khornate spreads failed revolution rather than be a front line warrior, and the Tzeenchian was an invisible ork who painted himself green.
>>
>>45513820
I just find it weird that a Daemon Prince would think the exact opposite of his god...
>>
>>45513840
They have semi free will, dont they?
>>
>>45513863
Hmm, yeah I guess.

Since it looks like we're going for a skeletal figure, I wonder if a Necron would work? I mean, I know Necron and the Warp don't mesh well together, but that could represent the gap between Life and Death, the Death of the Warp in the presence of the Prince, etc.
>>
>>45513840
https://1d4chan.org/wiki/The_Purge

This is hardly unprecedented.
>>
>>45513820
You have a list of those Daemon Princes? I'm pretty interested in the Orc one...
>>
>>45513895
I'm not sure how we could do that.
>>
>>45513941
Uh, how about a Necron Lord obsessed with regaining his flesh? He's gone the deep end and has more or less transformed his body into a biomechanical abomination, at least enough that he can be influenced by Chaos. And since his body is failing because technology and biology don't go well together, he accepts Nurgle's deal.
>>
>>45513595
>>45513607
>>45513642
>>45513694
>>45513707
>>45513738
>>45513796
>>45513820
>>45513840
>>45513863
>>45513895
>>45513901
>A Death by inches......

With a wicked smile and ever rusting chains, this Daemon prince seeks to make everything die. Why you ask? I wouldnt know, why not ask him yourself....

Alright, now we have to make this guys back story. What sets him apart from other warp entities, besides his looks and motivations? Where did he come from?

>>45513920
The list goes as such:
>The Inciter/The Harbinger of Revolution (Khornate)
>Grignuk da ekzentric/The Great Invisible Asshole (tzeenchian)
>Da Dump (Slaaneshi) (We never came up with a better name)

I was a newfag to the forum when I made these, so I forgot to copy the end results. Yeah, I regret it everyday.
>>
>>45514004
I mean, when you think about it, Necron embody pretty much everything Nurgle is about.
>First they wanted eternal life.
>Then when they got it, they desired death to the whole universe.

So we've got a race obsessed with life and death which just so happen to be Nurgle's portfolio.
>>
>>45514053
Well, if he is indeed Necron, he could be some sort of unstable maniac, that oscillate between wanting to annihilate all life in the universe and keeping his body in shape... And for the backstory, well...
>>45514004
>>
>>45514096
I like the idea. It does stretch the lore a bit in order to accommodate for him, but I still like it. All in agreement?
>>
>>45514137
Aye.
>>
>>45514137
And should he need to use, goddamn Gauss-breath like Godzilla! Strip the poor motherfucker to his bones!

cat/tg/irls and gen/tl/men, we have reached the final stage of this creation.

Everyone roll a 1d100. The first 10 will be compared to a scale of 1000, with 1000 being chaos god tier. Any rolls after the first 10 will be halved before being added. Also, if you get a double that is related to the sacred number of the patron diety, then it is counted as double.

BEGIN.

>>45514378
Ah yes, thanks for that. I also found the Tzeenchian Ork one:

Rolled 14 (1d100)

>>45514437
So it's a Necron who sold himself to Chaos in exchange for a cure to the whole robot body thing?
>>
>>45514096
A Necron literally cannot be a daemon prince. They have no souls.
>>
>>45514458
More or less.
>>45514464
Yeah I know, but this one is SPECIAL.

dice+1d100
>>
>>45514464
Is that still true with the Newcrons? How do they hope to revert the biotransference if they have no souls to put into new bodies?
>>
>>45514464
The anons decided. I'm just here to keep record. Besides, its not like any of this is cannon.
>>
>>45514487
Damn, failed my roll.
>>
Rolled 56 (1d100)

>>
>>45514490
That's the reason the biotransference isn't as simple as going the opposite direction as when they became robots. They need to both get new bodies, and get new souls somehow. Otherwise the whole thing doesn't work.

>>45514487
Special and impossible are two different things. This is basically like saying you make a Daemon that exists only in real space. Not only is it impossible, but it goes against everything that it is.
>>
>>45514537
How about grafting live human to himself? And then, using the whole thing, he ascends?
>>
>>45514537
Suppose this one somehow didn't get his soul eaten, and instead it was cast into the warp, and at some point in his experimentation he was able to retrieve it?
>>
Rolled 44 (1d100)

>>
>>45514464
>>45514537
Half the fun is trying to explain the insanity!
>>
>>45514567
This might work as it throws any amount of soul-having into the mix, but then you have to explain why he basically just taped a living human to his chest and them let the human take over his body. Because the thing with the soul is always going to be the actual daemon prince.

>>45514574
Imagine you threw a cracker into the Pacific Ocean. Not only would it be preposterously difficult to find it, especially because Necrons had very weak souls to begin with, but it has probably already been eaten or subsumed by some other denizen of the Warp in the sixty million years since he went to sleep.

You're better off saying that he became a Daemon prince when he was still flesh and blood somehow, but that's less likely than a Tau becoming one because the Gods were weak and they had weak souls.
>>
Rolled 47 (1d100)

>>
>>45514688
And suppose his soul wasnt weak?

Suppose he trapped his own soul away in an object rather than feed it to the ctan?

There are numerous possibilities. Just because it sounds impossible doesnt mean its impossible.
>>
Rolled 85 (1d100)

>>
Rolled 56 (1d100)

>>45514688
Well, I suppose we could consider this particular Necron a "parasite". After the daemonifying is done, he hijacks the body and makes-it "his" to control. This way, he has his body.
>>45514724
It's also true that simply becomeing a Daemon Prince requires a preposterous amount of luck, so that can't be brushed off.
>>
Rolled 11 (1d100)

>>45514437
>>
Rolled 17 (1d100)

>>
>>45514738
Suppose we change it so that he manages to make a deal with the fat fuck upstairs before he was transformed into a necron. Would that work? Maybe something like "My followers will not participate in the Ctan war against Chaos" or something.
>>
Rolled 73 (1d100)

Is it me or are those rolls fairly shitty?
>>45514791
That could work, I guess, but unless Nurgle waited around for a long time, that would probably make him the FIRST Daemon Prince ever.

He stands as the most powerful Daemon Prince we have made so far.

A shadow of destruction, born from an ancient civilization, with the favor of the great god of death and life.

And now only two things remain to be made:

First, his psyki.... Oh wait he is a necron, never mind he doesnt have any psykic powers.

Unless.....What do you think anons, should he have a psykic power?
>>
Rolled 21 (1d100)

>>45514437

Maybe he's actually a large number of Grots who have banded together to show the galaxy what being a Grot is REALLY like.

He could probably have some ghoul star artifact that gives him a psuedo psycic power?
>>
>>45515109
Well, you gave him 21 numbers so despite the horrid rolls it still ends up stronger than the other ones because they got less rolls before you added it all up. The Ork only got 16.
>>
>>45515136
>>45515109
Yeah, not going to push it... He already sounds pretty damn brutal, so no psychic powers. Just him, his chains, and a fuckload of diseases.
>>

Oh Jesus yes!
>>
>>45515109
No psykics powers, but since his maladies and such stem from Nurgle, they would in effect, give him the equivalent, like nurgle's rot and such
>>
>>45515171
I have the perfect reaction of a genestealer cult to his arrival.

>>
>>45515176
We haven't even determined yet what he is technically. Like a hybrid?
Him being called "The Silence" is actually a pretty good idea...
>>
>>45515109
If he is one of the tin men, no. However, if he was one of the Necrontier, with his conversion occurring before they became Necrons, it becomes possible for him to have such a presence.

Awesomely called the silence?

Who commands a floating auro of nano-virus?

yes, yes I think
>>
>>45515246
But the Chaos Gods didn't even exist yet when there were Necrontyr.
>>
>>45515250
That's an idea... It would explain how he fused with something possessing a soul...
>>45515314
Just infect somebody, rips its flesh to shred, and then move on to the next enemy, "Grey Goo" style.
>>
>>45515334
So he would actually be this sort of "presence" inhabiting a host in the form of nanorobots while controlling him to assassinate his enemy.
Then, when shit gets real, he rips out of his host and gather all his nanorobots to engulf and destroy everything leaving nothing but bones in his wake.
He would play like Skitter (from Worm) on steroids...

I like that, he actually converted his necrodermis into a sentient virus that he uses to infect other living things. The longer he stays in them the more fucked up they would become, until they end up looking almost exactly like a standard Necron machine body.

Shlaerontyr

From Shaereen, what they called assassins

Means Silent Death, with the 'tyr suffix refering to the Necrons and the Necrontyr
>>
>>45515433

Or it could be a simple cut or anything, we're talking about nanorobots here.
But yeah, terrorizing the whole population to make the other planets bring reinforcement then infecting them once they get back to their home seems like a good modus operandi to me...

At this point though, his power might be a TAD higher than 656 if he is able to wreck entire planets by himself...

>"Death cares not for whom it comes for, because all who it comes for will die eventually. If I could name someone as death, it would be this one."

Anons, I thank you for joining me in this post. This new and wonderful yet altogether terrible creature we have created comes for all that exists.

From his beginning as a necrontyr to his ascension to Daemon hood, he sends out his small yet deadly minions to bring a planet to silence...

He is known as:
>The Silence (Imperium/Chaos)
>Shlaerontyr (Eldar)
>Da Sneaky (ORKS ORKS ORKS)
>The Other Invisible asshole (Grey knight Classification)

Alright, that about sums it up. Thanks for joining. If you have any writefag compulsions, go right ahead.
>>
Now all we need is a drawfriend, and we're good to go.

Maybe a couple of battle stories, like the time he went to an exodite world and over the coarse of a Terran standard year, destroyed every settlement, extracted the flesh from every eldar man, woman and child, and left before a Biel-tan strikeforce could arrive.

All they found in what was, until recently, the last settlement, was bones and messages scrawled all over the walls, "Silence descends"
>>
I might writefag a bit, but I'm gonna need some time to think of a good idea.

Oh and question: If his main body is destroyed, can he reform through his nanorobots in another host, or does he have to be brought back from the Warp?
>>
>>45515919
I think both can work.
>>
>>45515816
Question, with a name like that, is he able to facimilate something similar to the Tyranid Shadow of the Warp?
>>
>>45515816
>>45515883

Awright, as stated previously, I might writefag for this, but before, I gotta finish a previous text in progress on how to create and roleplay a believable character. If you want links, just ask.

>>45516216
Good question...
>>
>>45516250
Well, thinking about it further, the Warp relies on emotions to form it, so if an area is absent of beings to form the Warp, said portion of the Immaterium would be empty, Instead of demons, or other dangers, or the tremendous amounts of white noise that the Tyranids emit, it would become as barren as the space between stars in the materium. A hole in the warp, if you will.
>>
>>45516476
So destroying all the life of a planet might not be a good idea. That and I like the idea of leaving a few survivors behind to help propagate the nanorobots and to be a dick.
>>
>>45516540
How would it not be a good idea?
>>
>>45517792
Since a Daemon Prince is a being of the warp and can return there if needed, I don't think severing the connection between a planet and the warp would be a good idea if we are on it.
