We don't know why Morathi is alive, most of this setting is gaps in lore. Worse than Force Awakens.
Nobody likes Archaon as a character anymore. Some like his stats, some his model, few his new model, nobody the character.

Doesn't he blame Sigmar for betraying him, causing Nagash to formally break the alliance and try make a deal with Chaos or something, and Archaon subsequently stomping him literally into a second Underworld?

Archaon and tzeentch tricked Sigmar and Nagash into thinking the other betrayed them. As a result, Sigmar and Nagash fight, the allpoints is lost, and Sigmar has to retreat.
