Wedding Day/Honeymoon Continued.

Last Thread: http://archive.4plebs.org/tg/thread/45325279/

Last time a wedding is going down, purchases are being made, and honeymoon plan is being put together. Hiatus has ended and we are back baby.

Aw yeah.

Also Genie, I just remembered something we SHOULD have done.

...a Double Wedding. With Lillian and Abi'gails little bro.

Followed by a Double Honeymoon

Well just waiting on the shopping plan to be posted and judged.

Just need the CEO and a mega corp to fuel the later war front. Planets to call home and a system to be eaten and made into a brood planet ship.

Okay, after reviewing much of the information from Genie's last thread here are my proposed revisions.

The Spy has been demoted to an officer type unit. Instead, he has been given unit support (to be seen in the land List).

I propse we do get a CEO. Yes, there is overlap of having two Commander units, but I feel that the additoinal corps overlap with Petyr combined with an actual given Corps will prove extremely profitable and useful.

An Assasin Champion has been requested, as a solo type hero as our best defense against the sneaky shit that the Republic likes to pull off, and what Abigail has shown to only be decent at stealth this one is an expert at it and on 1 on 1 combats or in the middle of enemy ranks where sometimes Abigail has had to retreat before. Primarily an Anti-Hero Hero against enemy heroes.

Fleets have been adjusted to reflect what will be difficult or perhaps lengthy for the Brood to produce. The Monstrous Fleet remains for its bioweapons, but I've suggested a new Destroyer Fleet for anti heavy combat and a Combine Striker fleet which will likely be superior to what we could do with the Brood for some time. We can easily make swarming, invader, or boarder brood fleets later

Kraken removed. We can make one ourselves dammit!

Caravanner added, yes there is yet more overlap to the CEO but in this case the Caravaner acts as a direct support unit for the CEO for delivery and aquisition of goods and as an additional Corps Connection to Petyr

Land list updated. Removed Organic units because we can make those easy with Brood Planet.

I've given each hero a supporting unit as per Genie's suggestion so they have both support and a chunk of the new army.

Abigail has been given numerous assault and offensive troops, while Petyr has been given defensive and support specialists (and numerous Brood research aids like an Alien Creature Zoo and Bio-Bucket Lab) to provide easy samples and bio-goodies for Brood.

Petyr has been given an expensive Badass Vanguard-Guardian Champion (who are the true elites of the Combine) squad for maximum protection of vulnerable target, as well as a general flexible Elite+Badass Corps unit with self upgrade capability in the hopes of making heroes.
Mercs will be supplemented by Caravaner Gun Network for added self improvement over time.

Spy support and Governor support staff included.

Infernal Captain been granted additional crew for undead and outsider expertise, designed as a corruption and undeadifcation boarding unit or anti-Clone swarm unit through undead conversion and terror/madness inducing.

Psycho Surgeon granted his own augmentation surgery lab for maximum surgery shenanigans.

And that's about it. Any complaints?

Since you downgraded the hero units you can afford quite a bit more. Even with the corp purchase. Just to warn you those corp mercs are going to spawn heroes like crazy so long as they remain intact and undergo the right events. Due to them being mercs they may prove to be very...expensive over time.

The same could be said expense wise for those outsiders and undead. Tricky thing about them is they tend not to prefer different means of payment then one would expect.

Noticed you purchased Alien armies and Fleets. Which will give you a discount but will not provide the Combine bonuses. In fact the only Combine units you have purchased are the codenamed Champions and a single fleet.

Admittedly Abigail does have a tiny amount of her own Combine troops a portion of whom are the silent Champions.
>>
>>45466105
>Noticed you purchased Alien armies and Fleets.
Sorry, I thought that the Combine were comprised of various different species which could be filled in fluff in fact in the fluff of the Ghund'a they are explicitly a Combine assimilated race.

Would it make sense if I listed them as a Combine Unit?
>>
>>45465975
Wasn't feeling too good earlier but after a nap i feel a hell of a lot better so I made some mistakes.

>>45466105
I would suggest acquiring some additional corp stuff, a few heroes, and some more actual Combine forces.

Combine troops while expensive are well worth it. Even the republic soldier per a soldier will lose to the Combine. It doesn't help that the Combine due to their leanness enjoys pouring ABSURD amounts of resources into all sorts of weird stuff including making stuff overlap. They are OBSESSED with combining stuff and making it work. Where the Republic enjoys specializing their forces due to overwhelming numbers. The Combine will go through the trouble of cramming AND combining/overlapping psionics, magic, and ordinary tech into a single ship. They will then mass produce this ship and work out all the kinks making it available to their forces. The Republic meanwhile would instead break up the stuff into three separate ships and increase the number of ships too boot because of how insanely crammed in and overlapped the stuff is.

This comes at a cost however. As it takes the Combine quite awhile to update their stuff unlike the Republic who prefers ease of repair and upgrades.

The Combine gets away with this due to the excess resources and few forces. They can actually afford such extravagances made common.

So does the Combine have their own specialized forces?

They do just compared the Republic they are very few in number but quite horrifying. As the Combine will go through the trouble of harvesting all that has to do with it fuse if possible and overlap if not. In general due to their few numbers the Combine is forced to rely upon a generalist forces and if they need true specialized experts they have to call them in for backup unless they knew to deploy them ahead of time.

Specialized units for them due to their expense and rarity are naturally kept in the safer parts of Combine space when not in use(docked at important base)
>>
>>45466325
Ah. I see.

So the Ghund'a wouldn't exactly be Combine Material because they're more /focused/ on their mobile suits and FIREPOWER, yet don't have the typical masses of augmentation and biocybnernetics that the Combine likes to shove in anything and everything to make them all better.
>>
Rolled 84 (1d100)

>>45466205
They are. Its a matter of them being considered a Combine force or a member. The request you had would have them listed as members which means while pure(and not having the Combine morale and leadership powers as well as be cheaper) they lose out with the other combine benefits.

A Combine force is never solely made up of a singular species. As the Combine forms their forces base upon merit and upkeep requirements. Species that have different niches but same environmental requirements will naturally tend to be formed into the same kinds of forces. Their niches will exploited and their same/similar upkeep/living requirements as well.

>>45466365
Yup.

You know where the Combine gets all its pretty toys and research?

From their members.

A means of payment for membership can include technology. So there may in fact be members of the Combine who have great fucking lasers but suck everywhere else. The Combine would take some of their laser tech as payment and then proceed to exploit it along with the other techs they harvested elsewhere.

The two techs while similar will be quite different. One would remain pure while the other will likely show clear influences from the other but be clearly different.

This doesn't mean the Combine doesn't have their own researchers of course(as the combine is just as happy to take some smart members as payment too!) it just means they get a lot freedom and breathing room. Just like the military forces time in the Combine Research departments can be invaluable to a scientist who agrees to work with the Combine for a time before going back home to use their new skills, updated knowledge, and toys for back home.

Which means while a member may have a specialty to rival the Combine's current tech but even if they don't thanks to allowing their people to join the greater Combine for a time they can enjoy its resources in an indirect manner. Or directly should they choose to purchase Combine resources they have since been replace
>>
>>45466477
This actually helps when making Combine unit selections as the specific nature of them could be abstracted toward their purpose and archetype (i.e. boards, boots, artillery) rather than any specific species or race.
>>
I wonder what kind of Corps units we can get to help cover our probably astounding costs.

I'm thinking something also related to Brood abilities, maybe a Grow Corp representative who could use a Brood ability to redirect nutrients paste and turn soil fertile.
>>
Rolled 89 (1d100)

>>45466477
This makes sure that the Combine has a whole is strong but at the same time ensuring its members are not too far behind itself. Allowing them to help take care of themselves until Combine forces arrive(assuming they even need to bother showing up).

The Combine is notoriously not picky in what they accept as payment for membership and this had paid off for them quite well.

>>45466365
A Combine equivalent of their specialty would harbor hybrid and overlapping techs for it out the ass. No matter if it be magic, psionic, tech, or something else entirely. Its just it would all be somewhat to mostly slated towards that specialty.

Which naturally means its quite expensive, complicated, and a complete fucking bitch to repair/reverse engineer.

Republic hates Combine tech bitterly due to its excellent performance, expensiveness, and difficulty of repair/reverse engineering.

The Combine naturally loves it for precisely those reasons(as they can afford the trouble especially if it fucks over their enemies).

>>45466522
Exactly. Combine forces are actually very abstract in terms of purpose and archetype. The same is true with the Republic they just pay more for greater units number and more pure specialized units.

Unlike the Combine the Republic cares a lot less about merit and upkeep requirements. Which while vastly increasing the number of troops they can deploy its also very costly. Making them adopt a cheap fodder, elite core, and mass specialized approach.

In game terms though its just much easier and i found some decent in world excuses for it.

If its a specific species then depending on the traits of that species will naturally produce certain modifiers that adjust the stats/quirks on the purpose and archtypes of their units.
>>
>>45466687
I think instead of coming up with new units, I'll readjust the fluff of the Mobile Suits to reflect them being Combine but focused on, of course, mobile suit warfare and FIREPOWER with added psionic and magitech integration!
>>
Rolled 31 (1d100)

>>45466687
Due to all those units and their formidable expenses. The Republic has naturally adopted an ease of repair and upgrade for their tech. Limiting the big mass updates unlike the Combine who goes through them on the regular basis due to how they're set up. The Republic does its best to delay such mass updates due to the difficulty of them because of its massive size and expense unlike the Combine who are the complete opposite.

So imagine the Republic going through a bunch of little updates with the odd big patch every once in a while. The Combine meanwhile has longer periods of little update but with a huge stable expansion regularly.

>>45466788
Be aware Combine units are fucking expensive and unlike Corp units they care little about costs.
>>
>>45466824
Good thing we're readjusting the price around to accompany that.

Just need more money producers to cover the costs..
>>
Rolled 41 (1d100)

>>45466841
Combine units are small, expensive, and hard to repair/replace.

But their performance is no joke. Their gear is top of the line mix and the Combine only accepts the best. There is a reason why the Combine can get away with hiding their own special forces so well without much notice and can even put to a grinding halt the Republic Spec Ops.

Corp units while 'costly' the Corps keep in mind saving and making money. Unlike the Combine who are like 'eh fuck it we can afford it so lets make it the best as possible and fuck the expenses'.
>>

Hey Genie, how hard would it be to get a gardener hero?

Just a normal joe or jane who is here for a helping hand. Maybe a rumor of something... yet it's all in the past. Elder person that can get even the brood to not turn them from kindness. Growing food for people and offering extra to neighbors

I know it's odd, but I think someone who can give peace of mind could help. Love the idea of all hell breaking lose and they are just sitting there with a pitcher of tea and some glasses. For the men to recover and then head right back into battle. Keeping the family together and hopes high.
>>
>>45467114
Just upgrade the forgeship or planet you have to include a Combine base. Combine facilities can obviously afford the repair requirements.

yeah you can purchase them easily enough if expensively assuming its not a critical resource of some kind.

It's a healer hero with southern hospitality. I thought the food part would build character. Like a mister rogers of the frontier or something.

I also didn't think heroes gave an aura of heroism because of how hard it can be for us to find them.

Added two heroes:
The Outsider Black Market Broker - To provide an additional source of income as well as black market access
The Elder Gardner - A mysterious kindly old man, who simply likes to garden. And yet this fact renders him strangely peaceful even in the face of something horrific like the Brood.
Added an "Officer" unit:
The Elder's Grand Daughter - A Clan "Child" with special powers yet despite being a Child, she isn't dangerous but simply helps her grandfather garden. Very mysterious and yet unknown what the Clans know of her

The dance hall was oddly empty. This is probably due to the human style music and the expected dancing. Many of the not so human participants(most of those who came) naturally wouldn't be able. So it surprisingly proved a place of refuge.

After successfully persuading Abigail for a slow dance(and totally not because she was distracted thinking about tonight). You decide to go see some old friends.

Crom, Aliza, and James are surprised at the whole affair. Figuring Petyr would of been married to a old family or a corp scion. James swears its a combine conspiracy. While Aliza seems oddly disappointed.

The undead was nowhere to be found except the old screams of fright whenever someone stumbled upon him or he 'accidentally' sneaked up on someone. Truth betold the screams that differentiate the two are hard to tell apart.

Dr. Volk was hard to find considering how many were interested in him. Somehow managing to work his way from the Clans, through the Combine and corps. A pit stop was done at the Republic reps and he was eventually found hiding out among the Brood. How he managed to get pass everyone AND security is truly a good question. He seems to be the only one who pities Petyr warning him its going to get in the way of his pursuits. Abigail meanwhile he asks about her future apprenticeship and when she confusedly states she doesn't know he starts to cackle a sickening giggly laugh.

The sex god is nowhere to be found.

Lillian is staring longingly at all the booze that she cannot touch and licking her lips. Meanwhile her man that is suppose to be with her appears to be desperately trying to go unnoticed by her for obvious reasons. When you blew his cover he gave you a hateful look as the Lillian started to blame him for the pregnancy and her inability to enjoy all the fancy booze.

Abigail's Rival meanwhile was found at the bar in desolate stretch of it in a drunken stupor drinking and bitching about how unfair it was that Abigail got married first and with such style. The person she was complaining to was a silent soldier standing guard who despite his visor being up. You could tell he had a 'why me' going on...the AI bartender meanwhile had long since fled along with all the others.

You go meet some people that Abigail knew. Including another girl. Another married couple who are rather infamous with their ghastly ship. Apparently Abigail spent some time on it but when you asked her about she turned shockingly pale and stammered about 'the memories'. Abigail was rather excited unexpectedly when she noticed an old guy among the few people from Republic space. However when she got over there and asked about something she became notably crest fallen. Petyr wisely decided to give her some space but ended up running into his twin sister and some other family members who survived the great purging. Abigail eventually made her way back and met some of the Petyr's family.

After that there were a number of events that were able to be attended both official and otherwise. As the happy newly married couple you had access to them all.

Anons...this is gonna be one HELL of an info dump, becuase this wedding was a front for some VERY important meetings between the galactic powers. So some serious(and important) shit went down here...that is actually why it took me so long to plan this out.

Because ALL these important people were going to attend...and naturally when such a congregation takes place things will happen no?

AND you just got a fucking 100 on it...goddamn it.

The Clan's turned out to be up to not so much. Except for the fact that they were paid NOT to raid certain factions but then said factions paid them even more to raid the OTHER factions. So the Combine for instance was paying them to not raid their stuff AND to focus more on the republic. The Clans happily accepted the additional funds. Especially from the corps who were paying them off to sabotage each other. Same was true for the different powerful families.

The families meanwhile besides their usual politicking met with the Combine about membership. Met with the Clans to hold some peace talks and arranging some trades. Met with the republic about membership.

The Combine meanwhile met with the Republic about some highly secret meetings about galactic threats. Some truces, peace talks, and exchanges were supposedly the 'focus'. They were not. The Combine also met with the Clans about sabotaging their enemies. Met with the families about membership.

The Republic well look at the above. They mostly arranged bribes, some highly classified unofficial discussion with the Combine, and attempted to get some new members.
>>
>>45484938
Clans confirmed for Condottieri.

It took me forever to design that damned summary technically not done with it yet...it DOES provide a good overview.

The families are a previously powerful human faction that took quite a beating. They are still around however just weaker. Petyr and his family are technically among their number but of a young lineage.

The 'focus' was a coverscreen for their actual purpose of them meeting. It was about things that threatened both powers and the galaxy at large.

>>45485891
That was a overview/summary I put out. Got to figure out how I am going to do the next part...

It provides the basic gist of it.
>>
Rolled 2 (1d100)

>>45484938
The corps meanwhile were literally selling to every side and doing their best to sabotage each other's efforts. Going so far as to offer bribes and pay to do so. They ALL did so. The corps had a vast amount of unbelievable quantities of money and goods were arranged to be exchanged during these meetings. They made deals with everybody they had 0 standards.

Petyr for one was utterly fascinated by the dealings that were going on. He was particularly shocked about the fact that so many important meetings were unofficial...but many of those unofficial meetings were nothing but a cover for the REAL ones. The ones that actually mattered...and they got in. From the whispered meetings between the Combine and the Republic about threats to the galaxy as a whole. To the backstabbing ways of the Corps and Clans. To the power hungry plotting and planning of the families. He saw it all...Abigail on the other hand...not so much. Or to be more precise it bored her.

Until that is she ran into a broker. A suave broker in a silver with forked tongue and tail. With Curved horns and predatory eyes like that of a serpent. This broker was busy selling the things that belong to a blackmarket and things not of this realm. He offered the services of demons and damned souls. So she asked him about a certain ship she once served on...and he smiled before responding.

Petyr meanwhile stumbled upon a CEO who attended. Which was unusual given how many CEOs didn't bother to attend but they DID send someone important to show. So he approached and asked finding out that the CEO was for a non megacorp but who just so happened to be very interested in meeting with Petyr about a business opportunity neither of them could refuse.

He was correct.

As Petyr moved around tapping into funds and making exchanges to acquire valuable services. Abigail was making a deal with the devil and going over military resources.

Name of purchased Corp? Or let me come up with it?

A corporate card game. A cooperative game that relies upon bluffing, skill, and a hint of luck to achieve victory. The corps are overly fond of this game for some peculiar reason.

Petyr kicked some serious ass even going so far as to successfully winning a corp and some more stuff to boot! It reached the point where no one wanted to play against him.

Sadly Abigail was awful at it...apparently there wasn't enough fighting for her liking.

Meanwhile there was an art of breakfast by a madman. Which may have or may not have included cannibalism. This was more Abigail's style much to the horror of Petyr when he realized the madman in question DID in fact suffer from MAD. He had a bad bad time...abigail not so much.

After that the honeymoon was done and the after party commenced. These two young heroes sadly would not be present for the after party...

In a specially purchased solar system on a special paradise planet with a specially made love hotel for an exclusive couple...

A sex god made an appearance.

A favor was called in from the Brood.

A bet was delivered and more made besides.

Doctors and perverted magi were called in.

Toys and treasures were delivered.

Unknown amount of time later...

-----

"Oh my ass...what the? Oh apparently must of forgotten to take of the sex switch bel-oh crap."

"hm what is it honey..." mumbled an exhausted Abigail.

"Hey sweetie your wearing the belt right?"

"Well obvi-oh....why do I still have a penis despite no belt?"

"...Fuck."

"Oh I was right..."

"About what?"

"YOU LOOK FUCKING ADORABLE AS A WOMAN!"

Sniffling noises. "Its not funny..."

"But your so adorable, cute, and small...its amazing!"

"HELLO we have a problem here don't we? What about the whole sex swapping problem?"

"ahem I see your awake I have prepared some tea," mentions a kindly old man who was sitting at a table.

"...where the hell are WE even? Weren't we at the love motel?"

"...very funny. This has gotta be your fault as was this entire thing."

"MY fault? Who was it that decided to turn it around on me hm? Now look where we are at..."

"Ahem," interrupted the old man. "I can see you two love birds are argueing like a newly married couple."

"Ah hwo did you know?"

"As i was saying...do you wish to know how you ended up here and how?"

"OBVIOUSLY!"

"Then do please get dressed and sit down for some nice tea and breakfast."

"AH...AHHHHHH," shrieked two voices as they suddenly realized they were in fact nude the entire time and seen to boot. Abigail handled it notably better then Petyr...until she remembered she was a he currently.

Eventually the two got on their...what they THINK is clothing? Until they saw the condition but luckily the old man had left out some clean ones for them. After getting dressed they sat down at the table in the midst of a garden sipping some tea and waiting for the old man to continue.

"...Currently you are here," finally speaks up the old man as a map appears floating above the table.

Both Abigail and Petyr had to do a double take when they saw their location. We are in the middle of deep republic space? ....fuck.

"As for how you got here...I am sure you got lost in a VERY magical realm yes?"

"Ah how di-oh FUCK," mentions Petyr. Abigail meanwhile was bawling over in laughter before finally speaking up.

"See what happens when you tried to get payback? HAahahahahh."

"Yeah. Don't forget WE ARE IN THE MIDDLE OF DEEP REPUBLIC TERRITORY!"

"Well I guess we'll just have to get back on our own..."

"Well I have the beacon and all my equipment in my-ah...its not here."

Petyr meanwhile starts to wildly stress out even as he detects brood biomorphs within his own body. Sadly Ixel and the rest he cannot seem to sense. His stress ended up causing the brood to wildly burst forth and rage as they reacted to it.

Abigail meanwhile finds a very comfy hotspring a nearby lake, nearby along with plentiful fruit and berry patches. It was overall very nice, but what made Abigail particularly pleased was finding some republic bases nearby.

Including a

>Republic Research Botanical Base
>Republic Seed Storage
>Republic Outpost

Tech wise a nearby space spot was successfully spotted as well a as a town which would appear to help service nearby republic bases and tourists.

Hive continues to surge with growth. With such a large amount of biomatter and excellent location the hive is growing with frightening speed. Even Petyr is astonished at the speed and level of its growth.

Meanwhile Abigail is trying to get ahold of some pirates to arrange the stealing of a large number of ships with which to flee. Problem is there really isn't all that many ships. Outside of the freighters that haul organic cargo, some transport ships for vacationers, and a few military vessels that is about it. Abigail thinks it would be easiest to steal the freighters but the Republic may be more willing to blow them up despite the potentially valuable cargo. The transport ships on the other hand...you could use the vacationers as a smoke screen if you hide among them or a meat shield should you kidnap them. It would also be harder for the Republic to getaway with blowing you out of the sky. The republic ships on the other hand are actual military vessels. They would be bearing good arms and armor hard to steal but you could at least fight back or even through should you successfully steal them.

After all it takes criminals to outsmart criminals.

The plan is, we use our gangs to wipe out the other gangs, steal their shit, get us a ship for our troubles, and then fuck off with a nice sizeable pirate crew. Also the old man if he wants to come.

Humans to the Combine are most valued as infantry. So the worlds the Combine has used for them are relatively rich for supporting life but also dangerous for the sake of encouraging the production of higher quality infantry. Everything else the Combine hasn't bothered with helping humanity with.

The way humans evolved. Combine has them classified under Heavy World Infantry for recruitment purposes.

Republic clones whoever performs well and as niche as possible(so it takes longer) at least until the Combine develops a pathogen for em. They also rely heavily upon drones and shackled AI. Weaker then the possibly rampant Combine AI but much more reliable. The Republic infantry are divided into three parts because of it 1 clones, 2 drones/bots, and 3 volunteers.

Bio based weapon wise they rely mostly on clones(openly) and the shady use of other bioweapons(covered up). The Combine doesn't bother much with clones but happily and openly uses other bio based weapons. Their robot forces meanwhile are unshackled and hence much more likely to go Rampant. Which is why they tend to be a bit more limited...but much nastier compared to the Republic's.

Titan class ships are few and were largely discontinued by the Combine for the simple fact that updating and replacement of them proved too much of a pain in the ass for them. This doesn't mean they don't make them still...they just do so per request or payment. Much to the Republic's ire.

This Titan Class Capital Ship was hence ordered to be constructed. The request of having a attached command ship was considered odd and delayed its building. Originally they would of turned it into a carrier but with the request of big guns this had to be scrapped. Finally after much finagling the plans were made.

Unlike most Combine vessels this ship was constructed with a centralized command hub. However said command hub was designed to be able to unattach itself of the greater whole. Thereby allowing evac of key Combine resources and personnel.

The rest of it meanwhile would best be described as guns built upon guns built upon munition dumps and generators/engines only to built upon yet more guns.

This vessel carries enough firepower to blast a planet apart under a concentrated barrage with no planet busters required!

Naturally the Republic put up a sanction against this war crime capable vessel but as per usual the Combine ignored them.

The Command ship itself...well Combine Engineers weren't quite sure what to make of it. So they just replaced weapon systems with additional hardware. Boosting its electronic warfare and comm abilities.

Both ships are naturally considered extremely unorthodox by Combine standards and would normally not be constructed under more more normal standards or circumstances.

The Titan class ship is also unsurprisingly gigantic munitions whore and repairs are gonna be a bitch even by Combine standards.

The command ship meanwhile less whorish but much more expensive to maintain due to all the extra hardware and gods help you should it need replacing. Replacing it all would be to updating an entire Combine Fleet Hardware but harder.

>>
Rolled 68 (1d100)

>>45528286
Supposedly the ship is capable of supply a fleet for years a time...this is however assuming you would not be using the ship. It turned out the ship NEEDED all that just to barely be able to function properly as the sustaining of the massive volumes of resources and energy it needed to remain operational as well as combat active. However do to its great size it IS capable of serving as a mothership. Though that part was more an afterthought with all the guns. As it lacks more traditional mothership requirements and abilities. It was thus suggested by the Combine engineers to only serve as a mothership in emergencies as your much better off getting a proper one instead.

The Combine in general were rather confused with the unusual ship requests but did their best and stuffed all they could inside as per Combine tradition.

The Titan ship was built of guns. It would appear that munitions dumps, power generators, and engines were only an afterthought. Until some exploring revealed that said engines were merely short ranged guns and the 'power' generation were in fact bombs along with the munition dumps. Sadly EVERYTHING else besides the weapon systems suffered greatly. When the Command ship is attached this would admittedly help quite a bit.

The Command shipmeanwhile was Petyr's wet dream. Where the Titan was Abigail's...

It was stuffed full of magical and even psionic equivelents as well as hybrids. All built to overlap and form a greater whole. Naturally the power draw is something you would normally expect to see on a much larger vessel and its quite costly too. The range and power of its comms, sensors, and electronic warfare systems are however something else.
