On one hand, Warhammer Fantasy was an overinflated mess that needed to be put out of it's misery, the AoS rules are great for newcomers and the SC boxes are pretty great value.
But I can't stand watching all these races I've grown up reading about and loving being silently removed from a website without a word of goodbye.

It's entry-level at it's ultimate extreme, and that's exactly what they wanted. They needed to start appealing to a new generation, and a few decades of built up crunch needed to go to do it.
