Basically this. The new anime series came out, so some people rode that tidal wave over here, but it's one of those things where the more you think about JoJo, the more you realize that it's not a particularly deep or well-crafted series, and after the initial spectacle wears off, you're faced with one of the least intelligent shonen titles still in print.
Though, it is a bit of a shame.
