Does GW even realise that there are other chaos gods apart from Khorne?
Why does every chaos based expansion or scenario or whatever have to be based around Khorne? He's one of the least interesting chaos gods, and that's probably just because he's so familiar and ordinary, we know what all of his units are going to look like and how they fight and everything about them so why not focus on another god for a change? They all seem more interesting or at least have the potential for more interesting stories and models than Khorne

The models are done before the new stories get written. If, for whatever reason, the design team comes up with more khorne stuff, they will focus with their campaigns on khorne.

I have enough to deal with in my local mono tzeentch player who constantly cackles as if crazy, and always, ALWAYS ends his enemies turn with "just as planned", regardless of how the game is going. He can literally have a single flamer on the table after his opponent had his turn, and he then starts his turn with "hehehehe just as planned!"

The new Chaos models got the same "bigger with more flashy bitz" treatment just about anything new in AoS has gotten. The blood warriors look pretty cool, really, by being essentially fancier Khornate chaos warriors without going full retarded like some of their other stuff.

Khorne is supremely easy to grasp, looks most like the classical red skinned, horned Demon, and is the most family friendly (once you take away all the bodily mutilation).
