General rules:
There is a 10 minute voting period after each post. Non-contradictory votes will be combined as best as possible.
Write-ins for all votes or always welcome and encouraged. They may not all make it into the post or be altered to fit in, but I'll do my best to at least try to address the spirit of the write-in.
Very important or contentious votes may be redone in a stricter voting system as it comes up.
Combat involves rolls! Once there's a clear winner, we roll for the move accuracy/crit/secondary effect. Usually it's just three 1d100s. Sometimes you can get a modifier from circumstances, so be creative! Add flair, do tricks with moves, mess with terrain, whatever!
Call me out on a mistake and receive an apology butt or suggestive picture.

“You don’t have to stay here any longer.” You hear Violet’s voice. You peek around the corner and see her, Blaziken, and Registeel having a standoff.
Registeel takes a fighting position. Blaziken steps closer.
“It’s alright. You’re not a slave any longer.” You see Violet slyly grasp a Pokeball. Is she planning on catching it?
Registeel looks confused.
You could help her talk him down. Maybe catching him is just her backup plan.
You could also hit it with your Pokeball from here before she can. She probably won’t react well to that.
Maybe you can cut off her view of Registeel and decide after.

Registeel turns to you. It makes a rapid, deep bleeping noise. You hold the others back and slowly step forward. “She’s right.” That feels dirty to say. “You’re free.”
Registeel steps back, but seems to be slowly calming down. It looks between you on one end, and Violet on the other.
“Come here, Registeel. I know you’re confused, you poor thing. Let me look at those dents. I promise you won’t be hurt.””
Registeel assess her, and then begins charging up for an attack. For some reason, he doesn’t seem to like her now. Maybe he’s just a good judge of character.
“Looks like we have no choice but to defend ourselves, Blaziken.” She smiles as she reaches for her Pokeball. “We can help him see the light later.”

To your incredible relief, neither one hits you. They try maneuvering around you, but the momentum from the charge is broken, so Blaziken leaps back instead.
“Kat, what are you going?” Violet’s voice is flat, and slightly annoyed.
“Kat! What are you doing!” Vance’s voice is full of concern.
“Listen to me. Registeel. She won’t attack you unless you attack her.” You turn to the champion. “Right?”
She looks at the back of her fire Pokemon defending her, then throws up her hands. “Of course not.”
Blaziken nods in support. It believes in it’s master.
“Then let’s all relax.” You gingerly reach out to shake Registeel’s hand. “My name is Kat.”
Registeel just looks at you. It bloops.
You can understand why it doesn’t know what to do. It’s been guarding this place for who knows how long, and just suddenly got the signal that it’s no longer needed.
It looks back to Vance and your Pokemon. It fixes its gaze on Vance.

He sees your point. Vance approaches Registeel slowly, holding out the crystal.
“Kat. Darling. Maybe we shouldn’t-”
Vance hands the crystal over. Registeel bleeps and bloops loudly, then immediately blows it to smithereens.
“Woah!” Vance jumps back. “I hope that wasn’t important.”
Registeel makes no more movements.
Maybe that’s it’s way of saying he can’t be fired, he quits.
“Come on, Registeel, want to see outside?”
It bloops. You take that as a yes, and all of you reach the hallway leading to the exit. You see the orange sun setting down beyond the trees.
You gesture Registeel forward. It stands there for a long time, then starts walking out.
It reaches the outside. Probably for the first time in ages. You and the rest of your group follow.
But before you get all the way out, a stone wall springs up! It has inscriptions similar to the ones you saw in the old ruins. Except this one has what looks like a slot for putting the crystal in.
You see Robin losing her eye in your mind again.
You shake your head. You need to focus.
Violet sighs. “I warned you.”
“We can smash through,” Vance suggests. “Have our Steel type Pokemon form a barrier around us in case there are any darts or arrows.”
“And if there are different traps, you’re asking your steel type Pokemon to sacrifice themselves for you.” Violet folds her arms. “I won’t allow it.”

You close your eyes, inhale, and play.
The tune flows out into the air from your flute. In your flute, it flows from your mouth. In your mouth, the air flows from your lungs. And from in your body, the song flows from your soul.
It’s a beautiful but haunting melody. Despite what should be terrible acoustics, it sounds amazing and clear.
The doors slide open, and the fresh air flows in again.
Aria pats you on the back. You realize she actually let you do your own thing this time and watched, instead of getting herself involved.
Vance gives you a meaningful smile and a nod.
“I’m impressed, Kat.” Violet walks past, brushing against your arm lightly. “You deserve a reward later.”
Before you can comment, you all reach Registeel. He’s looking at the Slowking and his group.
“The guardian has left! What happened!”
Violet stands out. “You’re all free now! Isn’t that great?”
Slowking looks up at her incredulously. “We’ve failed. We’ve lost our purpose.”
The other Slowbros, Slowbros, and Slowpokes begin to stir and mutter among themselves.

You stand over the top of the temple’s mossy stairs. “You can find a new purpose.”
“Protecting this place is all we’ve known.”
“Well, I have land. Lots of it. And parts of it need protecting. There are Lapras breeding grounds there. They could use someone to look out for the area. Or if you don’t want to do that, you can just relax instead.”
They mutter among themselves.
“Or you can choose anything else you want,” Violet says. “The world is yours.”
“We need time to discuss,” Slowking tells you.
That’s fair. You turn to Registeel. It’s just watching the trees.
Then suddenly, it begins walking into the jungle.
Violet moves to catch up to it. She might be trying to convince it to join her.

It looks at you again. It’s so hard to read it’s blank face. It bloops, then bleeps.

Registeel bloops, turns around, and walks away into the jungle.
“He says he’d like to see it.” Slowking approaches from behind. “He’s going to journey there.”
Well, you guess it’s his choice how he gets there.
It’s late. You’ll have a long walk to get to the plane, so you decide to camp outside the temple tonight.
Vance happily cooks up a huge stew for everyone, Slowpokes included. His Pokemon team helps, each taking a different duty like chopping veggies, getting more firefood, etc.
Violet takes you aside. “So, Registeel got away from you in the temple.”

“What happened, exactly?”

It’s late. After dinner, you all set up tents and get to bed. It’s been a long, humid, tense day.
You wake up the next morning next to a warm body. You’re eyes are still closed as you roll to your side slightly. You cuddle the warm body closely while your brain drags itself away from it’s dreaming state. You reach and give Clair a playful little squeeze.
“Oh my. How forward,” Violet says.

“Gah! What the shit!” You scramble back, covering yourself with the blanket.
“I came to wake you up. It’s time to get a move on.”

You head out of your tent. Vance gives you a funny look as you exit with Violet.
“We’ve decided to try your offer,” Slowking says.

You could capture them all, then get the Professor’s help it moving them across the region from his place to your land. You don’t know if they’d like that, though. Being capture has a lot of implications and baggage with it.

Slowking inspects the Pokeball you hold out.
Violet folds her arms. “You don’t want that,” she tells Slowking.
“It’s their choice,” you remind her, then turn back to Slowking. “You could take the journey. See the world, figure out if it’s really for you.”
Slowking considers that.
You keep talking. “I can probably arrange to get you guys a ride, but it’s your choice.”
Slowking looks over his very slowly moving flock, then nods. “That would be appreciated.”
Violet leans on your shoulder. “You just have the resources for anything, don’t you?”
“I just have friends. You should try it sometime.”
She laughs and backs off. Then she goes to bug Vance for help disassembling her tent. She can manage just fine on her own, but Vance is the type of guy that just loves to help anyone that needs it, even if it’s someone he doesn’t like. She just seems to have a compulsive need to make people do what she wants.
You say your goodbyes to the slow Pokemon. They’ll wait around here until you send the blimp.
The journey back to the plane, which takes most of the daylight.
You sit up in the front seat next to Violet as the plane takes off. She turns to you, and for the first time in the whole journey, she looks like a normal person. “You know, Kat, you impressed me back there.”
“Uhh, thanks.”
“I mean it. I know I tease you a lot, but if I can offer you anything, let me know.”
Her tone is so different. Is she trying another approach? Is she just experiencing a moment of lucidity? Is she sincere?
You fall asleep during the flight, and wake up just in time for the landing.

Violet laughs. “Oh. That. Yes. That was the backup plan.”
“Backup plan?”
“Simple. If we didn't succeed, I could just fly to the sand temple, play with the frequencies, and use that to detonate the charges he likely has there, removing the leverage he had over Regirock.”
You and Vance exchange a look. She just smiles.
Vance carefully places it down. "You were going to blow the temple up?"
"As a backup plan. Yes." She looks at him like he's dense. “Now come on. Regirock still needs to be separated from that awful trainer, if he hasn't escaped already.”
