I assume you lot actually have a plan to take care of whatever mission you have here? Perhaps now would be a good time to enact it, after what happened yesterday.
>>
>voxes the base at Watcher's Point
Has anyone seen the interrogator or her enforcer?
>>
>Still in that cave with Alice.
So... what now?
Thread title pic related.
>>
>>44874603
Took a Vendetta out on recon sir. Do you need to contact them?
>>
"Jackson said he had a way to save these people, but he never bothered to tell me what it was."

>Pulls out a lho-stick and lights it.

"Tell me, after all this, did we lose anyway?"

>His augmetic lungs filter out the lho-smoke, meaning that Greely is now effectively going without.
>>
>>44874611
Err.....suppose we can check if any of this equipment is usable? Weapon or two might be good....or perhaps the tank....
>Alice walks over to the weapons and stares at them idly.
>>
>>44874646
>Nods.
The tanks outside is full of dust but maybe...
>Opens the hatch to check the interior.

The astartes is making me uncomfortable.

"He just had to kill a whole bunch of desperate civvies. Astartes or no, that's going to mess someone up."

>Alice opens the Commander's hatch and drops into the turret.
Equipment seems intact.....power might be out, but that'll be a five minute fix, just need to find a toolkit so I can get to the engine.
>>
I have seen these threads before, could somebody tell me what the bloody hell is going on?
>>
Rolled 58 (1d100)

Just checking for heresy, don't mind me
>>
>>44874725
Short answer is that a Penal Regiment(That may or may not have been inducted by the Inquisition, as they are want to do) full of [strike]lunatics[/strike] unique Guardsmen goes about the Galaxy sorting fixing things and removing Chaos because everyone else is incompetent. Basically one can just make a character and do whatever they want. Orks or Necrons for example.

I could prepare a slightly longer version if you wish it so.

Also that picture is amazing.
>>
>>44874762
Thank you, yeah, I mean I know a lot about 40k lore, its just I never know how to contribute to the threads.
>>
>>44874725

https://1d4chan.org/wiki/Campaign:Penal_regiment_designation_/tg/ Extra Heresy, that's what
>>
>>44874783
Just make whatever you wish and jump in, like I said, we've got/had Orks, Necrons, SoB's, Space Marine or two, whatever you fancy.
Oh and it's also not 100% serious, but at the same time not 100% comical either. Just...go nuts really.
>>
>>44874740
I found some heresy, just going to purge it and then I will be on my way
>>
>>44874824
Cool.

Anything goes in the heresy wildride. People make a character and jump in just for the shits and giggles.

The tank's interior seems fine, old but fine...

[spoilers]Though Inquisitors themselves are usually NPC's, even if the characters are high-rank operatives. Gonna be in and out a lot during the AM today (EST)[/spoiler]
>>
Greeting human kin, how do you all do today on this fine evening?
>>
Right. What's the plan, Greely?
>>
>>44874841
Of course it's old lass, it's pre-Crusade.
>Toolkit in hand, Alice climbs out of the turret and starts to work on the engine.
Most of this stuff is too.
>>
>>44874903
You sure you know what you're doing with that? Maybe want to call a techpriest in or something?
>>
>>44874932
If you can find a Cogboy that won't try and chant at it out here then go ahead, I'd rather just fix it.
>Alice finishes with the work and replaces the cover.
Try the Engine will you? Should work now.
>>
>>44874874
Did- did Nyzart send another agent?
>>
>>44874966
I'm not sure we should be touching crusade era equipment without the supervision of the Adeptus Mechanicus, Alice...
>Kind of doesn't want to start the engine because of fear of it being possessed.
>>
>>44874972
Who is this Nyzart fellow, I only here to get information about hum-our social data.
>>
>>44874992
Wait, you're not a necron. What's going on?
>>
>>44874981
You know how the AdMech is lass, shouldn't be touching the bloody thing at all.
Just start the engine eh? You worry too much.

That's how you do it! Lets see what else we can do.

Everything looks good....looks like we've got ourselves a working Tank.

Congrats for successful spoiler.

If you're a newcomer you might want to check the wiki:

Welcome aboard laddie! Threads are usually on Monday(As you seen) at 2PM GMT, although sometimes there are extra threads on the following days if needed.

Mhm.....very well.......talk about it, because I'm completely confused.

Eldar? The tall, thin xenos? Pointy ears?

Did... did you touch, wear or mark yourself with anything that seemed chaotic? I mean when the Tau sniper got you I wasn't sure I might had been hallucinating and didn't want to talk about it... but now after Amalek I pretty much have confirmation that something is going on... You were a literal mess of blood from beyond your hips...

No I didn't, as far as I know and it wasn't that bad, was just a bloody kidney...and maybe a bit of liver damage. Bloody Medic has no idea what he's talking about.
>Alice again climbs out of the tank and drops down to walk towards a few weapons.
I don't know what's causing it but I'm fairly certain it's not Chaos.
>>
>>44875262
... Oh, those! Only time I saw one with the spikes still on was when it was taken to "cutter". Masters didn't like hidden weapons.

>He presses a button on the device.

>Nothing happens.

Most likely lass, probably for an Imperial Army Officer, whoever the poor bugger was obviously had a taste for fine weapons. Almost feel bad about lifting it.

Heh heh, well my original regiment, the Catachan 79th, had been damn near wiped out. Rest of us got assimilated into this horrendously soft regiment. We did most of their fighting for them pretty much. Eventually they fell in action and I was the only Catachan left. Then in one battle against some Nids I killed a Carnifex by stabbing it in the face, routed the rest of the bugs. No big deal, just did my job. Well the general didn't think so. I was laid up in the medbay after that and he comes in all pompous to present me with lieutenants bars. So I threw an empty bed pan at him and yelled that I work for a living! He was so mad he didn't bother to bust me to private. Just got rid of me. And I was happy to go.

>>44876524
A good idea. Stay vigilant, trooper. You never know when more chaos forces could pop up.
>>
>>44876562

>>

Thank you. Well if that's all you guys need I have some business to attend to for a bit.
If he wants or needs something like that he'll get it, but if he has no reason to look at the files then he won't.
>>
>>44876615
Out of a job? Nah, not at all. You're as necessary as we Guardsmen are. Cause while Im an officer in the physical war against the Ruinous Powers, you're an officer in the spiritual war.
>>
>>44876573
Good on ye' lad. Oh, by the way, we've still got yer' tank on board the Penance if ye want her back.
I leave it up to you if the Slug has that Punisher Upgrade or not.

>>44876615
Aye sir, although I'd honestly be surprised if we warranted any more attention from those Heretical bastards. But we aren't trained to take maybe's into account.
>>
>>44876682
Oh! Emprah's balls, I'd forgotten, much obliged. We'll keep her up there for the time being. stick to battle cannon for now...
>>
>>44876325
...
I think you're quite strong, Alice... It's just that... this is so bizarre...
>>
>>44876724
Aye, we made sure to load her up and get her some real armour, it was in rather a sorry state when you found it...
>>
>>44876671
Well I'm off to train some men that show promise, Drop trooper 101. I'll have a proper fighting force in no time.

Well something popped up so I gotta disappear for a bit. I'll be back in an hour or so.
>>
>>44876671
That's all from me. May He watch over you, Lieutenant.
Well then tell me if he ever feels a need to look into Vimes.
>>44876673
Each important in their own ways. Raising the spirits of the soldiers gives them a chance to fight, and victory in fighting raises their spirit.
>>
>>44876750
Ain't that the truth. Damn thing had been sittin in that jungle thirty years or more. Good thing the cogboys build em like brick shithouses.

No not you.

>>
>>44876788

>>
>>44876960

Strenght? You need train?

>Wada starts to smile, having already decided how to spent the rest of the Day.

>>44876913

Something I'll mention now as a courtesy. The Iron Warrior Tarax is still alive. Yes he was nicked by a hyperphase blade and lit the fuck up by lasfire, but was never confirmed as kill. So he fell into a chasm with his weapons and there's no telling when he may reappear...

The Dark Eldar, that's a long story. And it's one i've been trying to keep under wraps, but apparently acolytes talk like whores. The fewer people know about it, the fewer worrying about them coming from behind at any moment.

Pic related, basically this but using Imperium logic of taking old stuff and just making it out of future materials.

Alright, men. You're all the best of the worst. You've passed all the courses I've laid out for you so far, but Now we start the Drop Trooper section of the course. We begin drop practice tomorrow at 0800. Dismissed!
>they quickly salute then go off in small teams of five.
>Jackson looks very pleased at this

Well, that's the disagreement Jackson and I have. Jackson wants to go charging blind into fucking Commoragh, and I want to find his interests in the Materium and fuck with them and sabotage him until he gets so pissed off he comes for us. Of course, Haemonculus have a habit of not staying dead when they're killed, but at least we can send a message.
>>

>>44877966

Proper attitude, trooper. Service to He-Upon-The-Throne is what we all live for. Still, we also have our own stories in this life, our own paths that He sets us on. If you don't want to tell me yours, that's fine.

>>44877979
Well I had never seen you drive one... it was just curiosity... uh... thought of any name for the tank?
>>
>>44877966
Huh! Well I'd say we should do both. Scout the damn place first, gather intel, plan out, and bring down the fucking hammer of the Emperor on those degenerate xenos. Simple steps, few moving parts as possible. We'll kill the target, and we'll send a damn strong message to all Eldar.
>>
>>44878023
I mean no disrespect sir, I just don't really like thinking about the past and my original regiment isn't exactly the most popular
>he scratches at his arm uncomfortably

I never said I had a plan to save them. I said I had a way to detect corruption. The ones I saved were evacuated and deemed clean.

Belk? He's probably in Commoragh. I haven't had my sources actively looking for him yet.
But if we destroy his birthing pods he can't be reborn again. And where are those pods? In his spire in Commoragh, most likely near the top Floor 86 maybe. Somewhere around there
>>
>>44878060
Mhm.....well armoured vehicles are usually disliked by the enemy because....well they're actually a problem.....'Old Contemptible' perhaps?

>>44878167
Well. I get in contact with some old friends of mine and they get us a Dark Eldar raiding Skiff and some Dark Eldar armor. We'll be warriors of another powerful house so we shouldn't get much trouble at the gate and once inside we just need to place a beacon of sorts for our distraction. When Everyone is distracted we head to Belk's spire and destroy the pods and take any data that seems useful, maybe kill Belk if he's nearby.

>>44878208

Ok, so if I just passed the mess hall, and the command Center is a 5 minute walk west of here... Then where in BLOODY WARP AM I!?!

ARRGGH! THIS IS HOPELESS!!! Why is it that the Tech priests and architects who design these damn places make it so hard to find the Regimental Offices! All I want to do is figure out this 4th degree Warp Fuckery that are my transfer orders... Is that honestly so hard?

At ease Trooper. To answer your question yes, I'm looking for the Regimental Offices here on base.
