Poor thing.
>>44709675
I feel ya
>>44709685
I know, right?
Chances are nobody even consulted the moose before using its likeness in a photomanipulation.
>>44709785
LOL. I guess he couldn't tell by the pixels.
>>44709785
Next time you're gonna tell me this isn't real either. You're just trying to cover up the gnome conspiracy!

I like it. I think I'll make a setting with a competent government and force structures, and adventurers will be desperately looking for a job.
>>44710251
>and adventurers will be desperately looking for a job.
In that setting, the adventurers would probably be the cops.
>>44710434
Maybe. Most likely not full-blown cops, sort of like temporary hired cannon-fodder/scouts, who go into the elder god's lair to assess the situation and most likely horribly die before the real muscle moves in. Because everything less then that level is already taken care of by the military.
>>44710251
>adventures actually decide to go to some horrid shithole because there is no proper government
>>44709785
That's not a moose, you dingus.
>>44711254
Somalia?
>>44709675
Apparently this isnt real but if it was that dude has stones going one on one with a stag that size.
>>44711254
ALL the adventurers go there. There's a fucking deathmatch among adventuring parties and solo adventurers.
>>44709785
That's an elk.

Pretty much shadowrun. Only the PCs are criminals and deniable assets, rather than part of an organization. It goes a long way toward explaining why anyone hires them instead of people who are competent, loyal, or professional.
>>44711396
That could be any country that cannot get their shit together and has nobody to keep the order.
>>44711489
>competent, loyal, or professional
Because they're cheap?
>>44711496
Right. Like Somalia.
>>44711514
>competent, loyal, professional, cheap
>pick any 2
>>44711546
Aren't competent and professional the same thing?
>>44711546
>>competent, loyal, professional, cheap
>>pick any 2
I gave an answer why people prefer PCs instead of professionals.
Or maybe I understood you wrong.
>>44711571
No. Competence is the ability to do something well. Professionalism is the ability to be polite, friendly, cooperative and organized while doing it.
I've employed very professional people who botched the job completely because of poor competency.
