So the owner of the local hobby store is a dick, a massive dick. the kind of dick that will refuse to stock things he doesn't like. however he will order something if its big enough but he will wait to bulk order (even though he gets it free)
first games night was Imperium vs aliens. it was grey knights, dark angels and a imperial guard player vs eldar, necron and Tau....Necron player was pretty pro but the others were new and still getting used to the setting, grey knights player only played grey knights because "mary sue armies are his thing" the other imperium guys were casual, so aliens lost. kind of fun, but the owner who hates anything not fantasy related decides to get drunk and talk shit..tells alien players they did a shit job and that they shouldn't bother wasting their time gaming. kids took it pretty hard, but the necron player sticks up for them, awkward moment and everyone gets back to drinking.

Flash forward a few weeks and the necron player places a large order. about $200 worth of stuff Owner tells him it is gunna take a while. a few days later the Grey Knights player puts in an order under $100. a week after that the Eldar kid comes in and orders some stuff same response. two weeks later the order for the grey knight arrives but not for the necron player or the elder player. turns out owner never submitted the request for the necron or eldar stuff, just the grey knights stuff

DM rolled 100 three times on his random encounter table in one session and the adult red dragon of the mountains appeared.
We are level 6.
We rolled two consecutive 1s on knowledge checks on dragons and decided It's be a good idea to rob its hoard while it was gone. It's the best session i have had desu. This was how our city got burned to the ground.
Shit was so fun.
The DM now has plothooks for days.
seconds games night. just basic tournament. Grey knights player wins and everyone is getting drunk. we are all talking about the games and funny things that happened during gaming (There is usually some Role playing games and Yugioh going on as well so lots of people and lots of fun i guess) Grey Knights player gets drunk and starts giving shit to the Necron player (unluckiest dice that night) Necron player points out that he has one most of the other games but Grey knights player (chainging it to GKP) is drunk and doesn't care and keeps going on about the match. Necron player gets tired and goes home, so GKP starts giving shit to the Eldar player about not having a decent army, Eldar player tells him about order problem and The owner hears, flips out and kicks the kid out (kid is 17, but still)

Necron player finds out and starts ordering online for him and the Eldar player. Tau player is pretty chill about the whole thing and doesn't care. UNI kicks up again and a bunch of new college players join. so the group has about 12-15 people in for warhammer, none of them play fantasy... none of them want to play fantasy... owner keeps trying to push them onto it, they dont like the owner so they meet up with necron guy who starts ordering shit for them. Owner finds out and gets real shitty but can't really do anything about it.
third games night. owner decides to set up a section for fantasy battles. by using area normally reserved for extra 40k battles. normally it wouldn't amtter but with all the new people there isn't enough space and everyone has to wait for a turn. Necron guy is winning everything, the dice god has smiled upon him and brought him complete victory. Owner is pissed, GKP is pissed. wins every match but by that time its really late. everyone wants to have a few drinks but most of the other players have fucked off home. most of them gotta go home and sleep, Owner is already wasted, tells them it's their own fault for taking to long, Someone points out that if they had all the table to use they wouldn't ahve taken so long, owner gets shitty and starts mouthing off. people go home. UNI kids come up with plan on way back to college
4th games night and its a tournament, same thing happens, sets up a table for fantasy battles. except Necron player is standing at the Fantasy table with an army of Vampire Counts. tells thet owner he will vs him in fantasy. Owner is arrogant and brings out his army (Dwarves) Necron player also lent his necron army to the eldar kid. Eldar kid wins tournament and prize and GKP is pissed, Necron player beats owner. drinks are had and the UNI kids are laughing, most of them came just to watch Necron guy vs the owner. Owner blames dice, GKP blames Dice, Necron player tells GKP that it's just because he has a shit army, Owner thinks he is talking about his dwarves, gets angry. starts shouting. cockiness of youth (necron player is 32) (owner is in 50's) Necron player points out all the shit (store smelling like sweat, Owner always rude, Owner never selling decent stuff) things start getting out of control. everyone has been drinking and starts shouting
Necron guy and Owner are basically yelling in eachthers faces. Eldar kid breaks it up and everyone goes home. UNI guys no longer go to game nights and host their own at the college. everyone is bitching about eveyone and shit is tense. Games night is over...its like the cold war, everyone is talking but not doing anything. Dark angels player and the Tau player have been gaming for a while now. Dark angels player gets his gf to play SoB and Eldar kid joins them. they decide to make their own game event....and invite EVERYONE for free
Games day arrives and everyone is their. The owner is shitty (he used to run the events and make money off them) but can't complain, so there is a tournament and winner gets $50. Necron player enters, GKP enters and there is enough tables for everyone. flash forward to finals match and everyone is all excited. Necron player had bought a Dwarven king and an Grey Knights model, chopped off the heads, painted them and then put them under his Necron lords foot. to be fair a lot of the chaos players do this to (fits into "taking trophies of your slain enemies" warhammer fluff) Necron player wins, GKP is pissed. everyone is laughing and having a good time. Owner makes a few snarky comments about how his events were better, SoB chick hears and tells him to fuck off home with his shit army if he doesn't like it, awkward moment becomes angry moment when owner complains about the Dwarf head and says the whole thing was a set up to try and humiliate him and that Necron player is banned from shop. Necron player laughs in his face and tells him no one buys from his shop they get it online (owner hates the internet with a passion) GKP makes a snarky comment about the Eldar player, Eldar player snaps and calls him fat. GKP flips out and pushes the kid. one of the UNI guys pushes GKP, he falls over and starts crying... wailing...sobbing...bawling...Owner punches college kid. brawl. Owner gets punched by Necron player, Owner knocked to the ground threatening to stab necron player and tells him he is banned from the store for life. GKP runs storms off, Owner walks off. Event day is cancelled. Uni guys host a few games at college then transfer to sydney/newcastle universities. no one goes to game nights. Dark angel, SoB and Eldar move away together. chaos player and Tau player refuse to vs GKP and so stop playing and sell their armies. Necron player got promoted and left and now people travel to game
The owner refuses to sell anything but Grey Knight stuff and fantasy stuff. treats any UNI kid like shit the store sufferes and eventually closes down. a few times people tried to start games night again GKP comes in and ruins it or they just get bored of it

This is basically what's going on with the shop around here. A guy bought into the shop and is a massive fucking cunt. I could list off all the stupid shit he's done, but it's fucking early so I'll just summarize:
Refused to order somebody's AiO WarmaHordes box because he wouldn't make enough money off the deal. (which an employee then said he'd give him all of the items in the box for the AiO box)
There is a local group around here that does board game nights, etc. around the area. They called up and asked about Betrayal to which he said he had a store demo version that they could play, the group came up, he didn't actually have a demo copy for them and wound up making them pay for a copy of the game at full retail on top of a $5 entrance fee just to play all of the crappy little used games they had that were in disarray. I have no idea why they actually bought it.
There's more shit, but that's just a few of the stupid things he's done in the past 3 months.
