Ok so the chapter was founded by chapter master Reinor in order to bolster the defenses of a certain sector, throughout the years the chapter has kept close to the Imperial Fists and this shows in their demeanour as they hate traitors and heretics above all else, this may also be because of Reinor's experiences during the heresy and surviving such trying times.

Even though the chapter has kept close to their progenitor their geneseed have suffered multiple variations, maybe due to their approach to battle and perhaps constant need for new recruits.

Throughout the millenia the chapter has endured constant attrition and crippling loses, as expected of the sons of Dorn yet the price for their duty was the eventual loss to create new zygotes reducing the chapter's apothecarium and their ability to replace their numbers in a more expedient way. Yet this loss that would see other chapters doomed to eventual extinction has not stopped the chapter one bit and are seemingly able to replace their casualties in an extraordinarily fast manner, suspiciously so considering their limitations. This has led many authorities to think that the chapter is using occult methods to procure enough geneseed to swell up thier numbers without needing a new batch from Mars, the susipicion goes both ways as the chapter is not very keen on dealing with the Gene-magi of Mars.

The chapter is also suffering from several skin anomalies, too many to classify and this is taken as evidence by many that someone has tampered with the Emperor's work, another more tenuous evidence is the ritualistic cannibalism that is rampant amongst the chapter and ingrained in their culture which leads many to think that the chapter suffers from a defective Omophagea but whether thats genetic or merely cultural is unknown as it is tradition for marines to go on campaigns without rations and survive on the flesh of their enemies or even their own fallen in battle.

The chapter rules its homeworld as a distant authority, taking the planet's children during the Sanguinala and hunting down convicts and outlaws during the celebration of the Emperor's Ascension taking the unwanted of society to be eaten alive in their chapter keep deep within the bedrock of the planet.

Chapter Master Reinor, first of the chapter is known in legends as the Apocalypse of Ork-kind and Ender of the Green. The legend goes that Reinor and his party of Imperial Fists veterans were on the way to the chapter's world when they were boarded by greenskins, easily repelling the attack the flight continued when they accidentally (Or not) rammed into a Rok which they quickly cleansed and commanded as their ship had suffered too many damages to continue, the Rok itself was heading straight to the Chapter's homeworld which was both a bane and a blessing, the legend goes on and on of how Reinor stopped a WAAAGH before even reaching their destination.

The chapter's homeworld is classified as a Feral world, savage and filled with beasts yet its inhabitants are not uneducated and while simple people they have a rich culture and large urban centres amongst the rocky formations of their sparse land mass which is surrounded by deep oceans.

As expected the chapters follows the Imperial Fists and subjects itself to the Codex Astartes while placing an emphasis on Siege warfare.

The chapter places a big emphasis on the strength of flesh, "The will of Man is to tame and destroy!" is one of many chapter's maxims. Amongst the battle brothers it is seen as a necessity to use bionics and an offense to keep one as it is seen as ungrateful towards the Emperor as he has carved their flesh into perfection. In order to keep this the chapter's apothecaries have delved deep into genetic manipulation and flesh-crafting in order to procure the best and strongest organic replacements for lost limbs as soon as possible.

It seems like the chapter has been plagued by the unending hordes of the alien, the current command has declared a crusade towards the Tyranid hive fleets in revenge for losing 4 full companies to the xenos menace in the past century, now the might of the chapter heads into the Octavian war to end both the green horde and the Tyranid fleets, "The unending host of the alien is nothing to the unending might of Man!" Chapter Master Trajanus The Black declared as he boarded the "Perfection of the End" battle barge.
