If it just said "When a nonblack creature comes into play, sacrifice Grave Peril and destroy that creature." You would be able to bounce or flicker it and it won't be sacrificed, but would still destroy the creature.

It's a harder to use terror, but it can be in the same deck as 4 copies of terror. It also interracts with the stack weirdly, and fucks with player psychology, knowing their first creature auto-dies.
