Why not form Imperial Guard mutant regiments so they could redeem themselves in death or similar bullshit? It worked for Krieg. Imperium is throwing away perfectly good cannon fodder .

too risky even for 40k

Looks like we have a mutant sympathizer here, boys. Smells like heresy to me.

>give weapons and training to displeased mutant population
>they start a genetic beta uprising and join chaos ranks, now with weapons and training instead of as a generic pointy stick armed rumble horde
OH WHO COULD HAVE THOUGHT IT.

Do you want tolerance and social integration? Cause that's how you get tolerance and social integration.

IGs are gathered from the best men of a planet, son. We aren't your pansy ass planetary defense force. That shit might fly on a lackluster, backwater agriworld but out here in the real Imperium we need soldiers, not unstable, unpredictable freaks.
Abhumans got some rights. Other mutant strains came into existence because of warp influence and thus have 99% chance of turning to chaos.

Except this happens all the time in 40K. There was a White Dwarf article about it close to a decade ago, even 40K stats for abhuman and mutant regiments in Imperial Guard armies.

High risk of them joining Chaos bands or xenos. You could send mutants only against Tyranids and Orks.

...is that Skull Face and Fatman in the middle there?

I don't know but the guy on the left must be Judge Dredd. Jesus, he has a DOUBLE FROWN.
