Legends was really inconsistent on the suit's quality, but generally agreed that he tinkered with it to improve it but could never summon the courage to do a full transfer into a better suit.
Canon has actually declared that the suit is pretty awesome. Lords of the Sith shows that it's just as agile as his fleshy bits were, and even stronger and faster to boot. Add to that the neural interface built into the helmet which blocks out the pain and discomfort he normally feels, and it turns out, it's not really such a bad suit after all.

The bits of stuff I like best is where the suit itself is an obvious metaphor for his current life; it makes him stronger, heavier, and harder to hurt but is restricting and uncomfortable.
It gives him life-sustaining drugs that keep his ravaged organs and body going that make him stronger and dull his pain, but he's addicted to them and can't live without them at this point.
He's mildly angry all the time because he's basically trapped in a vaguely uncomfortable but entirely necessary suit that puts a thick barrier between him and the universe that he's now too dependent on too remove and contributes to his constant state of simmering anger because he's aware on some level that it's own damn fault he is in there at all.

Man, I knew the FFG Kedalbe/Keldabe was nerfed, but I never quite realized how badly. Mask of the Pirate Queen expects one to have trouble dispatching a single Marauder Corvette.
Having them trade punches with full blown ISD2s in Empire at War was excessive and clearly a gameplay consideration, but this goes too far in the other direction.

Got into Armada recently. Planning to have Imp fleet consisting of something along the lines of ISD-II with a couple upgrades, 2 Raider-Is w/ Ordnance Experts, and Demolisher once I can get the pack for it. For the smallish squadron complement: do you think the Imperial fighters/bombers are good enough, or do you prefer the R&V ships enough that they should take priority over TIEs?
Did anyone ever find out what kind of ship this is?

Firesprays out of R&V are a must for Empire. Combine the with Major Rhymer and boosted comms, and you can alpha strike people from beyond their weapons range with ease. Then, add Dengar to keep your death ball from ever being tied down

I bought a couple packs then traded with a friend who plays rebels. If you can find them cheap on eBay then grab them by all means, but most of the wave 2 stuffs is still pricey there.
Also, Assault Proton Torpedoes are a godsend for hitting past rebel shields when using Gladiators and Raiders. Unfortunately, they are only in the rebel MC30 box.

Had an idea for a list for Schwiggity Schwang (X-Wing). I like it, and I'm a tournament vet from way back. So fuck your shit if you don't. Just thought I'd share it, scrubs.
4 x Academy Pilots
2 x Scimitar Squadron bombers, each with:
2 x XX-25 S-Thread Tracers, 1 x Proton Torpedo, 1 x Extra Munitions, 1 x Munitions Failsafe.
For 98 pts, you get six TIEs, two of which have 6 HP. The bombers use Focus to fire the tracers and give the TIEs and themselves TLs on one target per bomber, then the fighters focus fire on whoever has the pile of TL tokens until they're fucking wreckage. Each bomber has four tracer rounds and two torps, and don't lose ammo if they miss their targets.
Anyone know why this is so expensive but none of the T-70s are close to that price?

Once within range 3 of target everyone focuses, Tala fires tracers, everyone else acquire target lock and fires 4 attack dice with TL and focus, 1 dice gets turned into a hit and the target can't use evade tokens.
