Next up was the workshop, the place was an utter mess and chaos. you wondered how the engineers kept up with all the stuff going on. A woman in her forties approached you, she looked more of a soldier than an Engineer. She saluted you."

"Sir!" she did her best to hide her accent "I am Robin Lowry, If you want something built we will make it for you. We don't have much but we can always lend something here and there from our advent friends and their supreme overlord."

Bradford showed you the small barracks, few were there in the first place. They all saluted you. You won't see most of their faces in the near future. The hangar was functional at best.

"This...this is what we are here for." Bradford showed you the situation room. A blue hologram of our earth shined in the middle of the room. Lots of good men and work were glued to their chair gathering more intel for the base. A man nearing Bradford in age approach you. he almost identical to him in the way he looks, talks...etc.

The sergeant is the PR guy. That's part of the job, is he gets to listen when all the soldiers bitch. Another part of the job is to explain, with knife hands if needed, if we're losing the confidence of our men.

If we say anything to our troops, it will be to state our mission objective and tell them how valuable it is for these missions to continue.
