Pathfinder third party (but one of the good third party companies) base class that's psionic, with the gimmick that they can use their psionics to make customisable armor for themselves.
No weirder than druids who can shapeshift into animals or sorcerers sligning fireballs. Probably less so, really. Don't see why it wouldn't fit into any generic fantasy.

We're playing WtF. They're just another type of Mage to kill before they weaken the Gauntlet.
One of the big faction sin my post-apoc game has a warship as their main base. It's fixed into its dry dock with rubble and concrete, all the surrounding buildings are flattened and thus attempting an assault against its remaining guns is a fool's errand.
