>Not reading the Malleus Maleficarum
Stay pleb
What are these?
>>44588029
Background fluff books for warhammer/40k, often written from an in universe perspective. Usually fun, well put together and expensive.
>>44588056
What is expensive to you?
>>44588004
If we're going that root, then I raise you the Lesser Key of Solomon. Get on my level.
>>44587820
>reading heretical literature
>>44588092
I've read small (emphasis on this word) amounts of it. Is it worth reading?
>>44588093
To defeat the enemy, one must first understand it, Puritan.
You would destroy all knowledge and artifacts of the enemy, and in doing so damn us to ignorance and defeat.
We must use the tools that they so carelessly provide us with against them. Not cower in fear like you propose.
>>44588123
I played a demon summoner in a long term WoD game, so I ended up acquiring a copy. It is definitely worth a read.
And the progression of rituals and the justifications given as to why the previous ones didn't work are quite amusing.
>>44588176
But would that not lead to the chance of corruption?
>>44588078
£127.99 used for liber chaotica is expensive for a book. Its well printed, the paper is high quality, the binding isn't bad, etc. Its probably worth it to a lot of people, but its not a cheap book. Most of these are limited edition printings too. Even when they come out they're £80+.
>>44588250
>mfw I acquired a new copy when it came out for £35
>not reading the REAL Malleus Maleficarum
>>44588176
>dat hubris b4 the fall
And this, acolyte, is a prime example of a radical.
>>44588281
Sorry I tell a lie, it was £30 brand new. Or at least, that's what it says in the dust cover.
>>44588250
Fuck, that is expensive. I usually hate doing this, but if I really want to read it, I'm sure I can torrent it.
>>44588303
Oh mans. I remember buying it back in the day. I think it was about $80ish canadian, and then some shipping. Prices have gone up.
>>44588339
I'm still trying to find a copy of xenology. I'm kicking myself for not buying it when I had the chance.
>>44588176
>>44588247
Is that any different than risking death through combat? We do what we must to protect the Imperium, if that means risking damning ourselves in the process, so be it, we are but one man. It is a small price to pay.
>>44588291
Your zealotry has it's place Puritan. I will not deny your efficacy at rooting out and destroying servants of the enemy. I merely posit that my own path has the potential for more lasting results.
>>44587820
Man I wanted the set but that is an expensive collection of books
Fingers crossed for a reprint
>>44588288
Stodgy as fuck, and is mostly just a theological debate piece arguing that witches existed.
>>44588465
Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment. Your crude attempts at justification play into the hands of ruinous powers.
>potential for the future
>m41.999.999
Radicals do get all the cool swords tho.
>>44588288
Written by actual heretics.
>>44588216
Malleus guy here, the lesser key is okay, but try something like the Black Pullet for hilariousness, most of it is completely retarded.
I've heard that the Red Dragon is worth a read too
>>44587820
>Pathetic poor ripoff.
>All these books
>Not just believing in da moighty Gork
Stay puny, 'umies.
>>44589649
que es esto?
>>44589649
The black pullet is brilliant, I agree.
>>44589953
A friend of mine found that and the other chaos book in a car boot sale and picked them both up for pennies. This drives me into a murderous jealous rage.
