If the Night Lords are super-edgy 80s Batman clones in 40K, what would be the equivalent of a super-campy 60s Batman clone in 40K?
The Redeemer

That's actually not a bad color scheme.
>>44563968
Ultramarines
>>44563968
Someone photoshop me Kurze's face on 60's batman and Sevatar's on Robin's.
>>44568449
It's pretty bad. Not /tg/ homebrew eyebleed bad, but still bad.
>>44563968
Harlequins
>>44571097
That's pretty harsh bruh. He's just keepn it cheezy
Might look alright painted
Hahaha, only cod piece armour on Robin color scheme legs.
>>44572213
Marines only work in metallics/matte industrial tones to push the "nuclear powered human shaped tank" aspect of the armour, heraldic primaries to push the "crusading knightly orders in space" schtick marines have, or precious metals to push the "god-emperor's immortal angels of death angle".
Anything else looks like clown vomit and brings out the worst elements of the physical design.

I agree totally, and this was exceptionally well put.
I think they are just going for fun/concept

Here ya go!

Cegorach for the Joker when?
>>44574585
K, which joker? Animated series? Or miller?
>>44574585
I suppose the Chapter Master would be in a somewhat sexually tense situation with a Felinid thief, and the Marines would be largely responsible for cleaning up the crime-filled streets of the Hive World of Gotham, working closely with the loyal Commisar Gordon.
Bonus points if the Marines and Scouts manage to maintain civilian identities despite being eight foot tall supermen.

Sounds like this chapter combines the tech expertise and love of the little guy of the Salamanders with the overall aesthetics of Pre-heresy Night Lords.
>>44574778
Seems like we're going full cheesy. We need the 1960s TV show Joker up in here.
>>44574860
Don't forget Kharn as Bane, Asdrubael Vect as Scarecrow and a generic sleazy Imperial noble as Penguin.
>>44574860
>>44574913
Don't forget the mastery of disguise of the Alpha Legion.
>>44575446
The Riddler is a Greater Daemon of Tzeentch, and a remarkably benign band of Harlequins are their Jokers.
But what would we name the chapter? Their motto? How do we explain the vastly different color schemes of the Battle-Brothers and Scouts?
Wouldn't Batman work better as an inquisitor than as a space marine chapter?
