How would you stat SCP-001?
>>
>>44498958
Which one ?
>>
>>44498958
Presumably you mean Dr. Clef's proposal?
It's your average D&D god so it just has the divine ability of Supreme Initiative and an attack radius as wide as the plane it's on. Any other stats are irrelevant.
>>
>>44498958

>>44498992
its a shame really its such a promising concept but they ruined it with all the unkillable shit.
>>
>>44499062
The unkillable shit and basically Mary Suing the fuck out of their own personas.

It is a shame, though. I really liked it back then when it was new. Now it smells like poo.
>>
>>44498958

It's basically a deck of Many Things, that looks like a ring binder.

The effects from the Deck just don't always immediately appear when you turn to a new entry.
>>
>>44499079
heh i was just having a look through some old stuff and found a hidden one when i acidently entered a 0 instead of 2
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-000
>>
>>44499104
Oh god, they're up to series 3 now.

Is there actually ANYTHING intresting in the newer ones? I had a look at series 2, and a lot of it was really weak.
>>
>>44498991
But it's just an angel though
>>
>>44499122
>Is there actually ANYTHING intresting in the newer ones?
I would know, I just up and decided that it wasn't good anymore and I've never looked back, 'cept for pointing and laughing.
>>
>>44499122
I can't remember if it was series one or two, but I really liked the endless stairs SCP. Gave me the willies something fierce, and I had a dream I was trapped in it once. Going down lots of flights of steps at night gets my heart racing for no reason.
>>
>>44499079
Clef owned up to that bullshit. Made it so that the SCP that turned anything written into bad fanfiction had gotten into his personnel file.
>>
>>44499079
although one problem they had from the start was all the trying to turn it into some big secretive thing with all the blackouts and shit just have a database of monsters

but that wasent really to big a deal for the most part.
>>
>>44499149
Series one. 087. It's one of the good one, the ones that are the whole reason those got popular.
>>
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2790
Oh my god it's adorable.
>>
>>44499156
although now that i think about it it used to be in interesting places for the most part adding character without really obscuring anything now it just gets in the way.
>>
>>44499169
Yea. I was at one point reading through the lot from start to finish. Now that I think about it, I don't think I actually broke past 900. Damn some of them are really good. I especially like the creepy/unexplainable ones.

The traffic light black box and the thing that can transform into anything and kills it's host once it's given away are nice.

My favourite will always be the anything coffee machine and aging microwave. Just for the "cup of joe" and "ageing the Whisky" entries.
>>
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2305-collab
Read the entry for dealing with 2123.
>>
>>44499104
Intredasting. Keep it hidden. Hide your post.
>>
>>44499270
bah as Technical Researcher Rosen said its probably just a problem with the database software
>>
I like this one http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-500 especially the unique way it interacts with this one http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-038
>>
>>44498958
SCP is a terrible website +001
>>
>>44499366
i think there at there best when they interact with each other in interesting ways that cant be explained.

smells like science.
>>
>>44499144
It could be a solar who learned the wizard spell Celerity, but that seems less likely.
>>
>>44499122
>>44499145

What picked my interest is how an user is turning SCP-610 (The Flesh that Hates) and the Church of the Broken God into milennia long oposing factions, connecting several SCPs into a metaplot.

i do wish they had done more on this one
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-137
i would read a whole dam book full of storys of this one but theres only these few http://www.scp-wiki.net/experiment-log-137
>>
spoopy
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-013
>>
>>44499079
They've gotten a lot better at that stuff desu. Most of the stuff is kept at a more reasonable power level and they deleted a lot of the really terrible ones.
>>
Has /tg/ ever made an SCP?
>>
>>44499309
Bro. It's cool. So what if it's an error? It's like a cool little Easter egg. Why is there a lot of blank space though?
>>
>>44498958
I wouldn't. If one of my players wanted an SCP in a game I'd kick them out of the group.
>>
>>44499763
Why though, that seems extremely ridiculous and unnecessary
>>
>>44499702
What were the terrible ones like? I only remember some really spoopy ones like the subterranean meat virus
>>
>>44499763
depends on which one is is honestly

i would be willing to use some of the item ones in my campaigns for sure.
>>
>>44499763
2EDGEY4MEME
>>
why in the fuck did they ditch this one
http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-157-arc
>>
>>44499733
Highlight it
>>
>>44499393
I like Are We Cool Yet? The idea of a cabal of supernatural performance artists just tickles my fancy. My favorite is the little trash man they made that just goes around collecting random bullshit it doesn't understand and finding places to lock it up, paper clips and dead birds and stuff like that, with the joke just flying over the collective head of the Foundation.
>>
>>44499910
Because it was fucking stupid?
>>
>>44499955
it wasent stupid just ultimately pretty pointless but theres nothing wrong with that

its a fun little odity
>>
>>44499973
> it wasent stupid

Yes it was.
>>
I always had a soft spot for the SCPs that weren't particularly dangerous or world-threatening, or requires pointlessly complicated containment procedures. Things like that living gun, or the toy truck that weighs as much as a real one.
>>
>>44500162
Or the Lego. I'm just annoyed when someone buries the detail of their entry in vast amounts of censorship.
>>
>>44499839
610? Fuck 610.
>>
>>44500211
indeed its gets redicilius at times.
>>
>>44499926
Seems like the sort of problem that could have been solved by replacing all the junk data Rosen mentioned with 0s.
>>
>>44499926
oh cool
>>
>>44500162
My favorite is the communist spiders.
>>
>>44500249
jesus fuck the one thing all the censoring is good for is keeping locations vague and they dont do it here.
>>
>>44500381
this one on the other hand uses it in a retarded place blocking out the upper date bound for no real reason especially odd considering it gives some of the date.

http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-614
>>
>>44499122

I like this one:

http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-2521
>>
Are we just sharing what SCPs we like now? Because I really like this one: http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-1947
>>
>>44499839
Well it's been a while but I do remember a bunch of really terrible mary sues. Most of them were deleted, but I don't think Abel was, and Abel is a seriously cringy one.

He's Biblical Abel as a dark, brooding JRPG anime character with a magic energy sword. He looks like a brown anime covered in occult mystical tattoos and has a super cool energy sword and he's really dark and moody and badass and lives only to kill, has superhuman strength and speed and can tear open reinforced steel security doors like they're nothing and dash like 200 feet in 3 seconds and dodge bullets or just cut bullets out of the air with his energy katana, and is almost impossible to contain when he wakes up (he sleeps in a magical black cube IIRC). He is basically someone's anime OC. Like I remember making basically the same character when I was 15 and a weeaboo.
>>
>>44500497
But all biblical Abel do was get his shit killed with a rock
Wouldn't Kane be the one to get evil murder powers?
>>
Since we're talking SCPs, I actually used nWOD to do an X-Files type game using SCPs as the cases. It was neat to just pick up a game with a short monster-of-the-week plot whenever nobody else had a session ready. I mined all three series for plots, there's gems in all of them, but admittedly they get worse as the site went on.
>>
i like some of these
http://www.scp-wiki.net/log-of-anomalous-items
>>
>>44500497
>>44499839
Oh, there's also that poo semen rape anemone one. Jesus fucking Christ that shit was really terrible/embarrassing.

>>44500519
There is also a Cain SCP, and he's a really chill dude who doesn't attack anyone, but has a power where whenever he's attacked, the damage is done to whoever attacked him. He's also pretty anime OC, but not as bad as Abel.

IIRC the implication seems to be that getting his shit killed with a rock made Abel really pissed off and bitter and he eventually became JRPG dark ninja, whereas Cain mellowed out during his millennia of wandering.
>>
>>44500426
Well, the first date is when BitTorrent came out, so it doesn't need masked, but the later one is so we know it's in the 22nd century. Maybe censor the month and day as well, though.
>>
>>44500569
Cain really isn't 'anime OC.' Other than the photographic memory, SCP Cain is fairly accurate, including his damage-reflecting powers.

Able would be much better without the Omega-7 shit.
>>
Item Description: A computer file with the name "~DFFF1C.tmp". The file has a negative filesize of -2 bytes; its presence on a storage medium increases the space available. Copies of the file retain this property, but editing the file changes its size to 0 bytes.
Date of Recovery: 05-21-20██
Location of Recovery: Dr. ████'s home computer
Current Status: Stored in Dr. ████'s computer, with several backups on portable media.

i feel like this one belongs as a full scp not just an anomalous object
>>
>>44500584
i dont think the second date needs to be censored at all.
>>
>>44500569
>the implication seems to be that getting his shit killed with a rock made Abel really pissed off and bitter and he eventually became JRPG dark ninja, whereas Cain mellowed out during his millennia of wandering.
makes sense i guess
>>
>>44500426
"2███" would have worked better.
>>
>>44500606
>Able would be much better without the Omega-7 shit.
They did wipe that awhile back.
They then re-inserted it with a retcon. Now, in-story, it's pretty much a failed experiment about a "bright idea" to turn the psychotic death machine into a party member. It ends in TPK.
>>
>>44499714
a lot of the minor anomalous objects are very /tg/ in nature
>>
>>44499950
I don't know, they seem very unpredictable and random.

Do they a reason for this besides "for the art", or aren't as random as I see them?
>>
>>44500569
The poo semen rape anemone one was great until the rewrite.

>>44500474
If I'm understanding the pictographs correctly, it's a version of the Wendigo.

>>44499950
Are We Cool Yet? is one of the best groups, probably because all of the stories present them as being nothing more than a bunch of pretentious cunts equally as cuntish towards each other as they are the Foundation.
>>
>>44499267
Did that person just watch Eva or something?
>>
>>44501940
No fucking clue at all, I'll just ask them, oh wait...
>>
>>44501982
>ill respond to your obvious humor with ironic seriousness

Thanks for playing the straight-man, I guess?
