That's Charles XII of Sweden, niggah. The guy was so boss he scared russia and saxony bad enough for them to ally against him.
He then got banished to the Ottoman empire. Then he came back and conquered Norway and a few other nations around the area.

What happened was that Swedish territory was attacked because XII's father, who like Phillip II did all the groundwork of building up an awesomely organized military to the benefit of his son, died, and all those countries and more decided his heir was too young and inexperienced to defend his territory. Turned out he was as much of a military fanboy assburger as his father, and had a knack for tactics which allowed him to beat up everyone but Russia, at which point he goofed something fiercely and lost his army's strength to Russian winter and scorched earth strategy. All his fucking officers told him, take the long way, stay within Swedish territory, the troops will have food and warmth and they won't be dead, frozen, and starved. XII said naw, and it turned out exactly as everyone else predicted. Besides, Gustavus Adolphus was the one Napoleon admired.
