Allright you sorry maggot filled socks! I am your new Commissar. You may adress me as; sir, lord, or Sir/lord Commissar.

I hope you feel a great pride when you all are serving under me! But to be honest, the boys down at the Administratium station hasn't provided me with the correct information about this regiment. so to get to know eachother better, I will ask a couple of questions.

My first question to you all is your regiment classification.....

Sir, yes sir!
>>
Penal scum...You all should be gracefull for getting a second chance in your miserable lives to serve the glorious Emperor of mankind! But you still won't have MY respect untill you earn it, the same goes with trust!

Do you guys want to roll on the Recruitment Criteria or do you want to take Gangers by default?
>>
>>44442375
I'd like to roll, let's do this fully.
>>
>>44442375
Nah, I'd rather be imperial guard's own convicts. not gangsters and scum from penal colonies, but your average guardsman who committed a crime not worthy of an execution but more than enough to end up here.

Seems like you scum have potential, convicts from a warrior caste....I kinda like it, not that it would help you sway my opinion as of yet.

Going Punishment/Redemption/Recycling by default when it comes to the nature of recruitment, I do not see how any other option could fit

Now, tell me about your homeworld. Who knows maybe we have something in common

We have some unorthodox beliefs which may or may not have developed into some serious hometown pride. We're good friends with the administratium and hate/fight a sect of chaos space marines.

To get back to our IG Regiment, I like the idea of equal parts Inglorious Bastards and The Expendables.

With their Unorthodox beliefs, they should be a "think outside of the box to get it done" troopers. Essentially they are given free reign to try whatever batshit crazy tactics or plans because they aren't expected to survive. And that's also why they're given missions which have such ludicrous odds against them, such as battle damn Space Marines.

A sort of "Well, if you fail and all die, no loss to us, but if you succeed, it would be incredibly advantageous." In short, the unit is seen as a pile of nickels to be used for the slot machines.

Except no one counted on them actually succeeding.

Regiment: 21st Arenost Madfoxes (thanks >>44448827 )

Warband: Angels of Virtue (they kept their old name)
Warband World: Crush (should be ice/toxic, just for fun)

++WELCOME INQUISITOR BORT++

Crush, the vile homeworld of the Angels of Virtue. The records say that the ice world planet had a small human population, who had the job of building a new fortress world for the Imperium. And then the heretics made it thier base of operations.

The probes that has been gifted to me by magos Sarbel have been put in good use. Over the years they have been skimming around the edges of the solar system, snapping picts of the planet. And over the past 50 years the once pure white planet has turned into a green toxic wasteland. Who knows how deep the vile toxins have penetrated the ice caps.

I have tried to assemble the sector commander to launch a full scale attack onto Crush. But a recent Ork waagh has begun to attack the twin agri worlds of Ober Alfa and Ober Beta. And I have had no luck with the adeptus astarties either. But the Emperor sometimes share his divine will into others and send them my way. A newly formed penal legion had been founded from the convicts from the death world Arenost in the Samsara subsector.
I have spoken with thier commander and both he and I have approved of a suprise air assult onto the main fortress on Crush. With the Emperor as my witness i vow to crush the heretics and reclaim Crush for the Imperium of Man!

I heard that Arenost's entire warrior caste was condemned for seizing control of civilian facilities and attempting to curry undue influence within the Administratum. Are you sure they can be trusted to face Astartes, even in their degraded state?
>>
>>44449472
That is true, but the so-called "Madfox" regiments are still made up of dedicated warriors, despite their technical penal status. They specialize in dropping into tactically favorable positions from the air (the nearby forge world produces a special air-deployment craft colloquially referred to as a "Blazer") and assaulting at long range, thus working in concert with whatever ground vehicles or heavy artillery they have at their disposal. These flanking tactics will surely serve them well against a force that is firstly insane and secondly more specialized in static siege combat.

Our favorite homeworld pastime was hockey, and the worst player of the season is cast into the giant worm pit. The administratum favors us, but thinks we're fucking weird, and so it got the attention of the Imperial guard Proper.

We were sentenced as heretics for being hockey fanatics.
