Well, you could use styles instead of broad categories like one and two handed weapons proficiency, something like:
One-Handed Weapons (ex-Melee Weapons)
-Fencing (eg La Verdadera Destreza, French School): You're skilled with slender thrusting sword, capable of using it both offensively and defensively.
-Weapon and Shield (eg Vikings, Middle Age Nobility): You're skilled in using a weapon (choose from axe, mace, sword and spear) in combination with a shield.
-Dagger (eg lots of non "academic" styles, Fairbarn): You're skilled in using two smaller weapons at the same time.
-Charge: No change
Two-Handed Weapons (ex-Ranged Weapons)
-Spear (eg Sojutsu, Knights and Wuxia): You're skilled in using spears, polearms, staves and lances, if Combat Riding is also taken.
-Sword (eg Samurais, Landsknecht, though mostly fictional): You're skilled in using large swords.
-Ranged: You're skilled in using bows and crossbows.
-Attrition: No change.
Miscellaneous (ex-Defense)
-Parrying/Blocking: You know how to fight defensively, improving your defenses.
-Dodging: You have quick foots, allowing yo deftly avoid aggression.

1) A man with Fencing, Parrying and Dodging will be extremely dangerous on urban areas, capable of dispatching many lightly armed foes after telling them to prepare to die.
2) In contrast, a man with Spear, Combat Riding, Charge and Knight will be a fearsome sight in open fields.
3) A shady man with Fencing and Dagger might be agile enough to approach it's target in crowded areas, draw his weapons before his target can react, strike with lethal effect and quickly sheath it and leave the area.

I go from place to place, not participating in the war unless attacked, and even if attacked, my plan is to make a fighting retreat.
I wish to be a healer. A wanderer. I wish to heal the wounds that this land has been dealt, so at the end, when the people have united against the evil which exploits their hatred, they have something to turn back to.

More items to spend gold on, preferably magic items. If you don't buy heavy armor or go tech you can pretty much afford most everything you want. A list of enchantments would be neat, perhaps ranging from 5-25 gold.
Make all quests give rewards. Not stuff to spend in the CYOA, just something like "Completing this quest will earn you many friends in the area" or "You will gain renown and political prestige". More neutral quests would be cool too. Some ideas: taking out a mad scientist who is spawning abominations, stopping the assassination of a merchant prince, performing a ritual to stop the sun from dying.
Give more freely allocated stat points, perhaps from 7 to 10+. Many of the companions are flat out better than the anon stat-wise, which makes anon's leadership questionable.

I'm not sure if it's too late to reply, but have you noticed that Ordion has a lot of overlap with Battlemage? Maybe BM doesn't have the races and quests, yeah, but the other similarities are really stark. I know you worked hard on the design and ideas, but I'd personally like to see you do something different than the usual high magic setting or else you'll just fall into obscurity just like the other five or so OC cyoas like Familiar and Troll I saw several months ago that no one reposts.
Spice up the companions page maybe, it's too barebones and cliched and, outside of its beautiful spreadsheet numbers, offers us little investment. Without awesome companions, who would be bro it up with during quests? Who would we romance? Who would give us that satisfying story experience we want?
Also, why should we care about the weapons and magic and stuff if its just the usual vague stuff we could find in a D&D handbook or wikipedia?
The thing that differentiates your cyoa from others is probably the races (well and the factions), specifically the kitsune, which is why people are talking about it. If you can give us more of that, you'd have the perfect cyoa. Not to say I didn't enjoy it as is, but I'm also interested in seeing Ordion take off because it has some interesting lore.

1: The Kitsune received a large amount of discussion because people didn't like the fact that they were with several races considered ugly or stupid.
2: While unique races like those are interesting, it gets really hard to find pictures of races the more unique they are. I had tons of trouble finding the female ogre picture, and that's not even an ogre- it's a female orc from D&D.
I have been considering changing many of the races, some of them I realize are too generic and similar.

Honestly, though, I think it'd be best if you wrote some lore about and explained your setting. Maybe there's this diplomatic incident with the kitsune that made them join, maybe the brutes are using them to coerce human men, maybe they like cvcking the brutes and use sexuality as a means to keep control, or maybe they're enslaved, which would be a pretty good quest.

there's a bit more logic behind why the races work together, but now Ravenhall sound like twats. At least the backstory for the Red Dominion doesn't suck so much. Stoneshill seems like the best faction - not so aggressive, more about just keeping peace and surviving.
Probably should highlight the race's under each faction.

You should make a true neutral faction like maybe a large mercenary guild or a trading coalition.
Forcing people to either be part of the mainstream factions or being a pirate/slaver scum is a pretty dumb idea.
I could imagine all of the traders forming a large coalition in order to protect each other from being harassed by the the three warring factions for supplies and to dissuade the pirates and slavers from attacking their trade caravans.

Mastery skills (skills with prerequisites):
Physical:
-Martial Artist: Requires Parry/Block and Dodge (maybe only dodge). You're a master in unarmed fighting, capable of esily fending off armed foe with only your body.
-Master Of Defense: Requires 3 Physical skills. You're not simply skilled, but a master warrior, capable of moving and hitting much faster than common fighters.

Magical:
-Runes: Requires Enchant (and maybe Body). You're capable of imbuing single use enchantments very quickly.

On a side not, I wanted to go a bit deeper on my vision of Magical Weapon skill. In my mind, anyone can use a magical weapon, but it won't be as good as in the hand of someone with the skill.
For example, a warrior with a fire sword can use it as is, a sword that also burns its victims. A trained user, maybe also a fire elementalist, can make it cause small explosions, using much less mana than it would without the magical weapon.
