As he kept digging, the light that came from the sun was merely a spot in the distance above him.
So he called out to the light, the light that was himself, and used this call to form an orb. How can a call be a ball you ask? Trust me, it made sense at the time.

This, then he accidentally left the orb behind, leaving it to grow and become the molten core of the planet.

The great Atet-Ri wondered what he should do with his orb of light.
Yet he couldn’t think of anything, so he kinda left it lying around.
Like a traveller who tries to make sense of a new land, Ri tried to make sense of this world.
The barrenness of this land… The feeling of emptiness… Was this the world he would wander for an eternity?
A godly rage came over him. From beneath the soil he threw his fists against the roots of the earth! They shifted, shattered under the might of his fists! On the surface, large chunks of earth erupted and flew from the ground!
“Who’s there?”
After a time period that is hard to describe to us mortals, Atet-Ri’s godly anger finally ended. It was replaced by uncertainty, curiosity and fear.
“Who’s there?” The voice echoed again from within the dark ground.
“Well, whoever is there, could you keep it down?”
It was a god that was lying inside the cold earth. The god of sleep….

Atet-Ri gently removed some earth and uncovered the face of the sleeping god, Tenen-Ru.
Even though this god was quite handsome, a face was all he was, made from a cold stone. Two stone wings sprouted from the sides, as cold and lifeless as the rest of his form.
“Awaken, slumbering one!” Atet-Ri said with a booming voice.
“Again, will you leave me be? Who are you anyway?” Tenen-Ru responded.
“I am Ater-Ri, the son of sun! I am the light that pierces everything, and I’ve pierced this earth! This domain is rightfully mine now!”
“You can have your domain,” Ru responded, “just let me sleep. I don’t want to be in this plane.”
“No, you must leave! This is mine and mine alone!”

“Listen here, mister piercing light: I do not wish to be here, yet I will be if you keep me here. I warn you, I’ve seen some of the strongest and the bravest enter ‘my’ world. Even the one once entered it. Even you will tire one day. And then, I will make you wish you never disturbed me!”

Well OP, JJBA stands for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, or GioGio's Bizarre adventure in one case. It follows members of the Joestar family, who do battle with various evils throughout history.
They first fight with the mysterious martial art Hamon to fight vampires and Aztec gods of Fitness by channeling the power of the sun through breathing. In the later parts Stands, representation's of a person's soul, are used. These spirits have amazing powers, like super speed, pyrokinesis and time space regression.
It's pretty long, pretty old and it has a kickass anime.
“Tell me, stone one, what is this world of yours?”
“Pff, why should I tell you?” Tenen-Ru responded, “Why should I spend another moment in this blasted realm? Let me go back you.”
“I wish to know. I demand to know! What is this place that my light hasn’t reached yet? If it is yours, can I make one like it? Or… Is this my world, gifted by the one? Am I just a stone head in yours?” Atet-Ri became curiously agitated, almost filled with rage again.
Come to think of it, it was a strange sight, a golden-haired hunky god talking to a stone head in hole in the ground. But yes, that’s the tale of the dawn of our world! I hope you can still make sense of the names.
Tenen-Ru beckoned Ri: “Listen to me again. I do not wish to talk to you about anything. Every word that is spend here, is a burden on my soul. But if you are curious… I could take you with me, right now. All you have to do is look into my eyes, and you’ll be with me in my realm.
But know, if you do, you’ll be left to generosity.

And thus, he created the Alwé!
They were strong and masculine, with arms, legs and heads not unlike their maker. Their skin was made from golden light, their hair was long and flowing in shades of gold, red and white. Through their eyes and mouths, one could see their core: the light from which they were made.
The Alwé were light themselves, like their maker, only contained within a body.
They wished to spread the light, it was the only thing on their mind at first. If there would ever be darkness, they would fight it.
And they had the power to fight it! Because they were almost one with their maker, and their maker watched over them, granting them the powers of light!
All seemed well, a bright future for a bright race and their bright god. Alas, neither of them knew how narrow their ways were, how little they knew of the other things that were to come to this earth. They only saw themselves as divine…
Atet-Ri looked at the Alwé with his smug face and was content, and they looked back with the same smug faces.

Atet-Ri stood before his creations for the first time, amidst the mountains, next to the really big hole. The Alwé knew who Atet-Ri was, they knew the light and they knew their purpose, yet they did not know this world. They could not yet make sense of it, but then again, Atet-Ri couldn’t really either.
“Father. We wish to spread the light! Show us, where must we go?” a large Alwé asked.
“First, you must build me a golden palace, a monument. A throne from which I will watch over this world! Build it from the mountains that I have created with my strength!”
The Alwé looked confused at their maker. “…A throne… For you? Why should we do that? Aren’t we just like you? Aren’t we light, just like you?”
“You are, but you are not” Atet-Ri responded, “You are light, like me. The light which must cover all. But you are not my equals. I have created you, you get your powers from me. You will be above all that is on this earth, but I am above you.”
The Alwé talked among themselves. Some were still confused, others understood that they were lesser to their father. “But…” One smaller Alwé asked, “If you are above us, who is above you?”
“None is, I made what you see here, I made the mountains from the soil.”
“Then who made the soil?” The Alwé asked.
“… The one did…” Atet-Ri responded, slightly agitated, “He was here before me, made what came before me.”
“So isn’t he greater? Where is he now?”
“I do not know” Atet-Ri concluded.
So the Alwé went to the mountains and started fashioning palace out of the mountains. It took them long, for they had no experience with building stuff. Have you ever built a palace/throne/thing for a god? I can tell you, it’s tiring work!

Just put the orb in the core of the world to bleed energy into the land and then go and explore while our people make monuments and civilizations in our name. Then go and explore, see what other gods and creations we can find.

We aid our subjects, and demonstrate that the ball of light is their origin. We gift it to them to grant them knowledge of light, of fire, of how to cook and how to light their darkness. But most importantly of all, we need to aid them. We cannot be cruel, nor can we have them hate us. They need to love us. They need to love our light and all we stand for. They need to grow peacefully and perfectly.
We also need to do something about how harsh the land is. We need to give them a fertile place to grow in, maybe the ball can help with that.
We also need to move away from where sleepy is. He'll just be a bother otherwise.

The Alwé worked day and day (the saying doesn’t really apply without night) to build a great monument for their father. Just like they were shaped in his likeness, they shaped the monument with the face of a young sun-god. The stone creature rested on its arms and legs. There was a seat for Atet-Ri so he could face the opposite way of the statue.
It was a strange feeling for Atet-Ri, he had made them, yet they had made something that he did not picture this way. Were the Alwé wrong? Did they make a lacking statue?
He could not make sense of these feelings, so he remained silent.
Hey, don’t these old lessons usually have a lesson in them? Yes, listen to your Oracle friends, and let this be the lesson for today: If you don’t understand something, just keep your mouth shut for Atet-Ri’s sake!
“Alwé,” Atet-Ri exclaimed, “whiteness my gift to you!”
And with those words he climbed onto the highest mountain. And when he reached the top, he cut open his wrist. It was a deep wound that would certainly leave a mark, even on godly flesh. But from it, liquid light began to pour.
The light streamed down the mountain, branched out and spilled into the valley. The Alwé were so grateful, they bathed in it, drank it, felt their life-power grow just by being in its presence.
Atet-Ri climbed down, followed the river he had made all the way to his throne and climbed on top.
He looked at the Alwé, at the land he had claimed, at the river he had made and the sun above him.
A smug smile formed on his face, as the river streamed down the hole.
