Been working on finishing off my D&D 4E collections- still have some splatbooks I need.
And Star Wars PDFs. I have the Revised Core Rulebook sitting on my shelf, which is enough to run a game but the rest would be nice- and no one on tg seems to have anything from the d20.
Can't wish these things from my family. But the best I managed was a new book.

It just annoys me that they'll play all kinds of different systems like FFG star wars, V:TM, Serenity system, Cyberpunk 2020 second ed, and a smattering of others, so we're not unused to the idea of learning new systems. Throw in the fact that many of us have played a few of the recent shadowrun pc games and you'd think it wouldn't be hard to generate interest. But nope, they want to switch to pf and I am so burnt out on it after we ran two 3.5/ 1 pf game over almost a decade of time.

I've already got almost everything /tg/-related that I want. What I REALLY want is a non-internet group that I can sit at a table with and have face-to-face games with, but I still love my online group. We've all been friends for 10-15 years and if they asked me to help them hide a body, I'd do it without hesitation.
I guess some more dice would be nice. Can never have too many dice.

Same here. I have two groups of friends that are nominally my RPG groups, but really we have trouble getting enough people free on the weekends. We still see each other for wing night, parties, holidays, birthdays, etc. but we can't have an RPG session more than 1 / month because of our terrible and non-overlapping weekend schedules.

Getting a group of adults together in one place at one time for a specific length of time is so difficult. It makes me miss how in highschool we could start gaming in the afternoon, order some pizzas, take a couple breaks, and game until 2-4 AM.
