This kinda looks like someone made a male outfit, but using the design sensibility of female Sith clothing.
Lots of slightly over the top eeeevil touches, fancy fur around the neck, ornate headdress that flirts with the boundary into being impractical, exposed midriff and a bottom that threatens to show off the crotch.
I like it, I always figured that if you're going to put skimpy and impractical outfits into something, make it equal opportunity. Nothing I dislike more than practically armored or dressed men standing next to strippers claiming to be in battle gear, make practical outfits for women and kinda silly revealing ones for guys, just cover all your bases.

Despite having some of the worst cover art I've ever seen and then pages of the same stuff at the beginning of the book, I actually really like some of the race portraits in Ironclaw. They were all comissioned from the same guy, and they are far and away the best pieces of art in the whole book IMO, even if they're probably still too 'furry' for most people's tastes.
