So, we have gathered once again to go over the dealings in the galaxy. This is what is on todays agenda:

>The third moon of Bortox has vanished. The local populus blames the space elves

>A newly formed colony on the ice world of Saami has an infestation of cats. If these are cats or catgirls is still unknown.

>The slug people of Avforing is demanding a 40% of Earths trash. No reason why has been stated.
>>
I think I know why they want our trash, seeing as nano-recycling means that only things people are too embarassed to put in the recycling bins goes to landfill. I move to undo the decision to make these bins transparent so people can finally dispose of their condoms ethically.
>>
>>44340621
Of the slug people want to venture through that wormhole we've been dumping our trash in they're welcome to it.
>>
>>44340653
This.

What the fuck they want with depleted radioactive sludge is anyone's guess at this point.

If cat girls then they need to either moved to a nearby colony willing to accept them rather than some fledgling outpost that is just getting up an running. Then find out who dumped them there and have "words" with them. If cats then fire up the BBQ until their numbers are brought to a sustainable level.

As for the Space Elves. Let them have that sad little rock. It was fucking obvious the terraforming was barely sticking.
>>
>>44340717
Yes, but the Mercantile Clan made big investments into that litte rock. I am just glad we had insurance on it
>>
>>44340717
Making concessions to the elves has always ended poorly. Even the loss of one insignificant moon cannot be permitted- it would be a PR coup. By hiding Bortox III from our sensors they are clearly taunting us and attempting to reassure internal elements that they are a truly relevant force in the galaxy. The Morean Fleet could easily be redeployed to remind them that they are a filthy backwater and to hasten their political collapse.
>>
>>44340772
I guess we could ask the fleet commander to make a galaxy wide search for the moon
>>
>>44340894
We could also hold some of their worlds hostage for a little while and watch them squirm.
>>
>>44340915
I guess I could stop sending supplies on some of my hyper space trade lanes near thier core worlds. It would hurt my coffers a bit but it could be done to show an example
>>
>>44340942
I think I could help you renegotiate a few contracts with the companies in Draco sector to be more favourable to you if you were to help us in that way. Rest assured we would make up for your losses.

This affair reminds me. You have embedded merchants in Avforing space, correct? What do they have to say?
>>
>>44340968
Sadly councillor not much. The space slugs are a very......odd kind of people. So my merchants usually doesn't dig to deep in the slugs affairs. But from what I have heard, and that is just roumurs is that the space slugs want our trash to build something. I do not know what it is yet.
>>
>>44340990
In these situations I can't help but take rumours seriously. However, I am struggling to see what they could build from our waste. It would be impractical to produce any kind of nuclear device, and they surely have those already. There is almost no information of strategic value in what remains after we're done with our trash. And 40% of it? That's trillions of tonnes.

Is it possible they are trying to lure a Leviathan?
>>
>>44341034
The outer rim Leviathan is just a hoax made up by the Kiro hivemind to lure tourist. Im quite jelous, they have med quite a profit
>>
>>44341054
Well, I'm glad. They had several of my advisors- respectable professors from the Institute for the Study of Galactic Megafauna- convinced, and naturally I trusted their judgement. But any information from those damned Kiro is going to be a 'hilarious' practical joke.

But then the question still stands. All that glowing space sludge they want has to be for something.
>>
>>44340621
>>The third moon of Bortox has vanished. The local populus blames the space elves
What do our scientists say? Send some science vessels with military escort over there to figure out what's happening. If it's really space elves, we'll demand payment in elf moons back. In the meantime launch some public service campaign about critical thinking and not buying into stupid rumours.
>>A newly formed colony on the ice world of Saami has an infestation of cats. If these are cats or catgirls is still unknown.
Send a dropship of marines with tranq weaponry. Sterilize cats. Deport catgirls unwilling to undergo the procedure to one of catgirl reservation planets and any violent offender to Sirius 5.
>>The slug people of Avforing is demanding a 40% of Earths trash. No reason why has been stated.
I don't like the sound of this. Trash is resource for recyclotorium and information about its composition could pose an intelligence leak.
Have diplomatic corps and secret service try and figure out what the slugs want.

I have managed to get a picture of Af Flod from an awesome drawfriend from a drawthread, have a look

>impressive
Greetings councillors I just heard about the meeting
The cat problem is being delt with as we speak.
Also I'm with an expeditionary force heading to deal with a large pirate problem in the Durga sector and got caught in a space anomaly while in warp so I may have problems communicating with everyone
>>
Good to hear from you again Commander. It has been many solar rotations since we last spoke
>>
>>44341633
Dealing with the increase in piracy takes up time
>>
>>44340621
>The third moon of Bortox has vanished

That was me, screwed up my calculations in a jump drive experiment.
I'll get it back in place once my crew is solid again.
>>
>>44341813
What kind of FTL experiment makes a whole moon disappear
>>
>>44341548
Good hunting. Those pests have had some old fashioned trashing long time coming.
>>
>>44341840
If by "experiment" you mean "fucking a space slug on top of a command console of an experimental mining cruiser", it's a pretty common occurance.
>>
>>44341871
Seriously?
Fucking a space slug?
I imagine FTL experiments are actually more common occurence than this. Now, if it was a space elf, that would also explain the rumours...
>>
>>44341871
I.......what!?
>>
>>44341840
One for a very, very, very big ship. I was working on a new enginge for the shared jump of the 3rd fleet that is more accurate on long distances. The jump bubble was to big and intersected with the moon, and the safety routines expanded the jump to include the entire thing.

Then there was a reaction the moon's core and we kinda ended up in another dimension. It was a weird day.
>>
>>44341896
You mean for project gargantuan
>>
>>44341978
Yes. So far we have been progressing steadily and everything would have been fine if not for that missing 0. And I certainly wouldn't have made that mistake if not for the captain humping that space slug every night and keeping the entire ship awake.
>>
>>44342027
Good I'll inspect the project myself when I'm finished in the Durga sector
>>
So do I need a license to raid the space elves as a privateer, or what?
>>
>>44342385
We prefer the plausible deniability approach well give you some not so current tech , such as ships weapons and supplies so long as your careful
>>
>>44342385
I'll give you funds from my personal treasury if you nuke a few of their planets .
>>
>>44342503
I'll have you know that this conversation was recorded and is on its way to be published in every news outlet in the Galaxy.
>>
>>44342975
Too bad that every major news networked is somehow linked with the Mercanile Clan. So go be butthurt somewhere else elf.

I have held the ship in null-space mid jump.

I have seen the face of God and it is terrible to behold.
>>
>>44343114
Do you even monitor customer feedback? Your "major news networks" have been serving only as a source for funny photoshops for years now. Space News Network is only watched because its news anchors are hot. No one even knows that the "Brainless Bob" meme picture depicts Galaxy News' primary talk show's host.
Minor sites are where people come for the news.
>>
>>44342975
Who let foreign dignitaries into the council meeting?
So help me if it was that lecherous Tau Ceti governor with elf and exhibitionism fetishes again. We get a lot of leeway but some of the stuff we discuss here actually is not common knowledge.

Not this one though. Everyone knows that all relevant nations employ privateers.
>>
I vote to send the space elf to the mind clenser!
>>
>>44343317
Just let her go. Brainwashing a diplomat is worse than some tabloid-tier "revelation" anyway. I do want the person who let her in fired though.
>>
>>44343282
I was unaware that there was a space elf ambassador on Terra. Please verify to security that your visa is current or report to Outprocessing.

>>44343291
The governor is my personal friend and an invaluable ally of Terra. Please, put your personal distaste aside in this matter. His fleet and political clout are more than compensation for the occasional outrage over the videos we cannot confirm are authentic or being released from his personal account.
>>
>>44343317
How rude. You were much more charming while chatting me up on dateaspaceelf.com last night.
Though I'd like to advise you to change your account name. It's frankly disgusting.
>>
>>44343414
Oh believe me when I say I couldn't care less about his private deviations. However we cannot allow such vices to disrupt our meetings.

If he wants elf blowjobs under council table, he will have to first make sure whoever is servicing him has at least ear muffs. I do believe that palace security has necessary appliances for this and many other similar cases readily available.
>>
>>44343451
I have no memory of having an account there. I am sorry to say this elf, but someone catfished you.
>>
>>44343598
Why would that someone know the code from the door of the Council Chamber AND have pictures of you naked, I wonder.
>>
>>44342975
And your intelligence forces aren't helping the pirates in the Durga sector their to well armed to have gotten their tech off the black market

>mfw
You really don't know our politics very well, young one, do you? You could get both of those out of every other issue of Galactic Enquirer.
>>
>>44343700
They're an interesting case. While my contacts have found no direct evidence of space elf involvement so far, we all know that they did indeed provide weapons to the Kithira sector before you crushed those pirates. Seeing as so many survivors fled to Durga, it could be that they simply brought old weapon caches with them.

COUNCILLOR CHARLIE has a better idea about what's going on in that sector than I, but he seems to be unfortunately busy with that ruined megastructure that interests him so much.
>>
>>44343781
Well anyway back to work.
So Concillor have you gotten my request that you need to sign in order to allow the Mercantile Clan to expand it's influence to the Barkiox core worlds?
>>
>>44342503
>>44342875

Alright, I would prefer a cruiser with some good torpedoes to disable at range, decent railguns to shred their armor, and a few boarding pods. I will gather the crew and I am willing to kickback a portion of the raided goods.
>>
>>44347456
Yes yes whatever, ask the quartermaster at Firebase Freedom-2 above Mars. But now - Pirates out! I say we need a more discriminating doorman. The council chamber is crowded with riffraff.
>>
>>44343781
Pirates from kithira migrating to the druga sector would explain the increase in their scale of capability.
Oh and councilor of you could send a message to councilor Charlie to tell him I need information on the pirate activity or give me the coordinates of the megastructure it would be a big help.
>>
>>44347957
Hey, I'm no riffraf, nosiree. I am an investment. I will bring you all sorts of goodies that I have liberated from the cargo holds of the space elves
>>
>>44348491
It would help if we knew your name?
>>
>>44348878
Brutus Aurelius, former Neptune Heavy gunner of a Leviathan platoon.
>>
>>44349426
Well Brutus welcome to the shadow corps. First question what are you going to do with your new ship?

Well, Commander, first thing I will do, aside from prelaunch checks, removing military coloration, and loading crew and supplies, is plot course for one of the shipping lanes between our space and the Space elf territory, where I can launch raids on merchant Ships. I will try to rotate which trade routes I attack, to avoid military retaliation. And the good stuff will be given over to Council contacts, with the rest of the cargo either being sold or used to further mission goals.
>>
>>44349593
>where is everyone getting these good pictures
Make sure to communicate through designated contacts if you need to speak to a councilor directly ,get In touch with a contact and have them arrange a meeting.
We can't risk someone hacking our communications network.

Got it Commander. May I add to the requisition list a squad of Leviathan mechs? For those tough nuts to crack.
>>
>>44349958
I'll can only give you mkIII leviathan patterns
>>
>>44350193
I can live with that. I just need to keep the heat levels in the Reactor under 256%, and I'm golden. I'll need the nessecary armaments for a squad of two Soldier variants, one Beserker variant, a Neptune loadout for myself, and a Paladin variant.
>>
>>44350309
Done on the condition you keep and ear out for useful Information
>>
>>44350450
Proud to serve, Commander.
