>Wanna help me make a couple first level characters for Dungeon Crawl Classics?

After braving their first dungeon and slaying the Serpentlord Saurog the Demonsnake, the players get to choose a class and become full fledged adventurers!

The players have already chosen what class they would like to join, but they actually went through the dungeon with a handful of peasants following them. I was wondering if any of you would like to help me roll up their stats and choose their classes. I could do it myself, but I figured doing it with you guys might be kind of fun.

The two peasants that I'd like to "Level up" are Paul and Rodrigo. I'll give you a brief rundown of what went down in the dungeon, so we can have a little bit of background.
>Before the adventure, the party convinces a bunch of peasants to go with them. (Not letting them know that they're essentially fodder.)
>All of the peasants died in terrible traps and battles, except these two.
>Paul managed to escape the dungeon with only a single hit point. He was hit with multiple traps and even got attacked by a warrior golem, and somehow survived. (He is now wearing leather armor and carrying a spear. He owns nothing else.)
> Rodrigo was slightly smarter, and stayed alert when the players sent him to do various tasks. In the final battle with Saurog, Rodrigo fought valiantly and actually dodge blows, before dealing a heavy blow to the demon serpent.

The first thing we need to do is roll ability scores. DCC uses Strength, Agility, Stamina, Personality, Intelligence, and luck, and they must be recorded in the order they are rolled (3d6), without adjusting them or relocating them.

Want to roll? We'll start with Paul.
>>
>>44249964
Alright, I'll roll 3d6.
>>
>>44250003
M'kay. Roll 3d6, six times and tell us the results.
>>
Rolled 2, 4, 4 = 10 (3d6)

>>44250003
Or forget to.
>>
>>44250032
That's Strength.
10 Strength.
>>
Rolled 1, 2, 4 = 7 (3d6)

>>
>>44250074
10 Strength
7 Stamina
>>
Rolled 4, 1, 3 = 8 (3d6)

This could be interesting I guess
>>
>>44250172
10 Strength
7 Stamina
8 Agility
>>
Rolled 3, 2, 5 = 10 (3d6)

Here's your 18.
>>
Rolled 3, 3, 1 = 7 (3d6)

>>
Rolled 2, 1, 2 = 5 (3d6)

Feeling lucky tonight...
>>
>>44250298
>>44250299
10 Strength
7 Stamina
8 Agility
10 Personality
7 Intelligence
>>
>>44250313
Okay, so the final ability scores for Paul are as follows:

10 Strength
7 Stamina
8 Agility
10 Personality
7 Intelligence
5 Luck

Next we roll a background Occupation. We do this by rolling 1d100 twice, and deciding between the two results.

So, let's roll d% a couple of times.
>>
>>44250368
>those rolls
Who needs bonuses anyways?
>>
Rolled 27 (1d100)

>>44250384
He IS a peasant, after all.
>>
>>44250408
A peasant? How dare you! A proud mason is of much more importance!
>>
Rolled 79 (1d100)

>>44250436
Well, let's roll once more to see which we prefer.
>>
Don't forget the lucky luck roll!
>>
>>44250455
YOUCH!

So he's either a Stonemason or a Noble.
(I You can still choose to be a dwarf, as well. But he can be a human stonemason, if you'd like.)

>>44250458
Oh, of course! Roll a d30!
>>
>>44250455
I think it's clear. Paul is a proud nobleman, who disguised himself as a peasant.

Just his luck to be herded into a dungeon...
>>
>>44250482
Maybe hes a noble bastard
>>
Rolled 2 + 2 (1d30 + 2)

>>44250479
>>
>>44250496
Oops, that should have been a -2; meaning his luck is 0...
>>
>>44250513
We'll go with 2! So, Paul was a nobleman born under the sign of the bull. He owns a longsword and a gold ring worth 10 Gold Pieces.

The Bull means his luck roll is associated to Melee attack rolls. (Though he gets no bonus to it.)
>>
>>44250577
>This “lucky roll” is modified
by the character’s starting 0-level Luck modifier
(for good or bad)
>or bad

I'm voting Lawful on alignment.
>>
So, what class should Paul choose?

Cleric, Thief, Warrior, Wizard, Dwarf, Elf, or Halfling? The party already has an elf and a wizard.
>>
>>44250628
I agree. Lawful feels like it would fit.
>>
>>44250634
The clear answer is Warrior. Look at how strong he is! And we'd be applying his luck bonus to his attacks TWICE! (Once for lucky roll, once for class)
>>
>>44250740
So, a Lawful Warrior.
Should he have a mentality of a paladin?

So, next we must roll his hitpoint total. He gets 1d4 from when he was a noble, and 1d12 from being a first level warrior.

So 1d4+1d12...
>>
Rolled 2 + 1 (1d4 + 1)

Of course he's a paladin! In training...
>>
Rolled 2 + 1 (1d4 + 1)

>>44250801
>>
Rolled 1 (1d12)

>>44250859
I'm terrible at dice... That 1 was intended as 1d12...
>>
Rolled 4 + 1 (1d4 + 1)

>>44250801
>>44250865
>>
>>44250859
>>44250865
>>44250871
Ok, this guy's luck is getting kind of spooky...
>>
Rolled 3 + 1 (1d4 + 1)

GAAAAAAAH

Is there no way to roll different dice at once?
>>
>>44250884
KEK! HIS TOTAL HEALTH IS 2!
>>
>>44250884
Nah; it's because the /tg/ dice roller isn't allowing us to roll in the format dice+1d4 + 1d12
>>
>>44250915
I'll roll out of 4chan and post result.

2+9= 11
>>
>>44250915
It's still pretty bad to roll 2 2s and a 1.

So, we've got our 2hp warrior, who gets a 1d3-4 "bonus" to his attack rolls with a longsword.
>>
>>44250958
I'll go with the 11. So Paul's Character sheet looks like this.

Paul, the Squire. 1st Level Lawful Warrior.
Born under The Bull. He was once a nobleman.

Hit Points 11

Strength 10
Agility 8
Stamina 7
Personality 10
Intelligence 7
Luck 5

He carries a longsword and a golden ring.
>>
So now, let's move on to Rodrigo.

Let's generate his ability scores.
>>
Rolled 3, 4, 1 = 8 (3d6)

>>44251084
>>
>>44251095
8 Strength
>>
Rolled 3, 6, 2 = 11 (3d6)

>>44251084
C'mon, big money.
>>
Rolled 6, 5, 4 = 15 (3d6)

>>44251112
>>
>>44251166
11 Agility

>>44251170
15 Stamina!
>>
Rolled 3, 6, 5 = 14 (3d6)

>>44251084
Hnnng.
>>
>>44251201
14 Personality!

These guys might even have all of their teeth!
>>
Rolled 3, 2, 2 = 7 (3d6)

>>44251084
Let's fuck it up.
>>
>>44251246
8 Strength
11 Agility
15 Stamina
14 Personality
7 Intelligence
>>
Rolled 1, 3, 2 = 6 (3d6)

>>44251289
>>
>>44251301
>the two survivors were both unlucky and generally dim
Oh wow.
>>
Rolled 30 (1d30)

>>44251331
So we roll for the Lucky Roll thing, right?
>>
RIP
