I've already drew up a dozen games with her proxied and every time I play her it's insane. She clears the board, then proceeds to draw me 4 cards on average, and alternates between punching the opponent in the face for 6 or drawing me even more cards.
The only matchup where she's actually only a wheel is Abzan when they have board presence. Hell, even against a Rhino she can hold her own. Get em for 3 then wheel your hand the next turn. Doesn't matter if she dies at that point.

Her +1 is a 6 mana lava axe. Spending 6 mana and your entire turn drawing cards you can't play is a good way to lose a game.
Her only valuable function is as a wrath and for 6 mana I don't know if 4 damage is enough. If she gets any play at all it will be for this ability, and I'm not sure there's a red deck right now that wants that effect outside of possibly RG.

My favorite Chandra to date was Firebrand, and really just because -2 to fork has a lot of cool utility. But her +1 is near inconsequential, and her Ult is irrelevant. To my mind, the best Chandra to date is Pyromaster, and while this new girl is strong, I don't think she beats Pyromaster for strength. She's certainly good, just not as good.
The reason I mentioned Koth was because for red walkers, he was both strong all around AND really interesting in what he did. His +1 could either give you R or push for damage as you needed, his -2 was a crazy ritual, and his Ult (which was relatively attainable due to the value of his +1) could end games and was cool and flavorful. There's not been a Chandra yet that hits the bar he set for Red Walkers to me.

This card won't be seeing competitive play. Not while we have two planeswalkers in White and Blue that can actually do stuff. And why even run it in control when you could just run Ugin, Gideon, and Jace? Ugins and Gideon are finishers, while Jace is value. Red will never have a good planeswalker in standard.

Hey MaRo, what if you remade this card but with a RRR cost intead of 2R and made the mana only castable on creatures and planeswalkers?
I dunno with maybe an upside somewhere, like 1 more mana or "spells casting using this mana can't be countered" so they can't 2for1 you, or something.
I'd be happy with no upside, just a strictly shittier version so that I can play Chandra outside of limited.

Most red decks want to top out quickly and finish the game by T5-T6, if not sooner. I like her effects but I'm not sure if the power level is quite there. She doesn't look pushed like Jace or Ashiok.

At least, it usually does. This metagame sucks for straight-up burn. Not only are burn cards (mostly) overcosted, but the most common deck in the format fucking gains life, making winning even harder.

All that's viable is burn, and any time they print something that isn't, it works better in a multicolored deck.

It's because red is the hardest color to balance, it's either absurdly busted (Worldgorger Dragon, Grapeshot, Dragonstorm, Lightning Bolt, Monastery Swiftspear) or utter fucking garbage (Shock, Pardic Dragon, Tibalt, etc.) It's a very fine line to get "balanced", look at the difference between Shock and Bolt

None of the cards you listed are at all busted. Gorger is one third of a combo with a nonred card and a land, Grapeshot and Dragonstorm are only good because of nonred support cards, Bolt is pretty much the ultimate example of a fair and balanced card, and Swiftspear is a good but fair beater.
There are very few legitimately busted cards in Red, to the extent that I would guess that the balance problem lies with finding actual good mechanics that still fit within Red's design space. I mean, what even is there? Wheel, Sneak Attack, Blood Moon, Young Peezy, maybe Recruiter? No matter what they do, barely any of the busted "mistake" cards end up in Red.
Are there any current cards that could synergize well with her being dropped on Turn 6?
