The last thread got archived way faster then it should have, it was obviously active, I guess I'm not sure how that works.

>>
>>44129624
Hello!
>>
>>44129734

Hey Guys!! Working on the most updated map at the moment

Thinking of starting up a concurrent game on 8 chan, which I hear goes slower but lasts much longer, i.e one season posted every day
>>
>>44129624
Do you still accept new players?
>>
>>44130809
Yes, there is not much room though, as all the nations have been claimed,

However I have been allowing new players to both claim inactive kingdoms and also to play my NPC factions,

which right now are
Pirates-eliminated (for the moment)
Vikings - Taken
Desert Nomads- FREE
Cannibal Islanders - FREE
>>
>>44130964
What will I have to do, to get to play as a knightly order? Or a mercenary group?
>>
>>44131041
I'm not entirely sure what you're asking, why don't you try asking for what it is that you want, and we can use that as a launching point. Note in OP when the next game (on 4chan) is going to start
>>
>>44130964
Vikings? Are they based in those islands in the top-right?
>>
>>44131041
There are a couple nations that might become free on Monday when the game starts up again, since their players pretty much dropped off
>>
>>44131082
>>44131082
Aight, I used to play in these when they were just called "Simple Kingdoms" as Fingolia and Zelant, maybe I'll come back on monday.
>>
>>44131106
Oh hey bro, it's me: Jade Emperor. I'm Lenqus in this game, so if you manage to get in, hit me up.
>>
>>44131127
Sup man. I'll do that.

So what's going on in this game? Who are the big players this time around?
>>
>>44131106
Friend!
I was playing in the simple kingdoms as Nationstate of Won and then Kythos!

Thats why I started this!

>>44131065
Yes go check out the map I posted in the last general or wait for the awesome new map I am working on now

They own the top right 3 islands are claimed by a player. They're looking pretty fearsome

>>44131127
Hey Bro! Didnt realize you were also the Jade Emperor
>>
Am I the only motherfucker from the first thread that wasn't in a similar game previously?
>>
>>44131274
Take a look at what people are posting about their nations. Theres a few.

Greenland is getting pretty Stronk with their work on tanks.

I should probably build a few more forts considering their sorta my specialty.
>>
>>44131326
>>44131364

Greenland was the OP of Simple kingdoms 2 and 4, I only have ever played in Simple Kingdoms 2 and 3
>>
>>44131364
Coolio! I guess I'll start reading the past threads as well then.

>>44131279
Nice. It's always fun to remeet people from the other games.
>>
>>44131480
Oh. Made a good move to get in with them early on then, I hope anyway.

So I was the noob, or one of the noobs, of the first thread. That explains a bit.
>>
>>44131279
Oh also GM, if I replace another player on monday, do I start a new kingdom or just take theirs?
>>
>>44131557
Well I'm a huge noob too, we also went from what was basically a completely free form RP game to a ever evolving made from scratch rules game run by me. Ive never done any of the nation builder or civ games or even read any of them. So my rules were kinda just based on trying to structure the free formness of the Simple Kingoms game. Currently now I'm writing a whole rule set for the next time I do this. Start from a blank map I mean, not next session of this game
>>
>>44131640
Its honestly a mix of both of those things, You start with mostly the same resources and I might let you have some of the previous peoples main tech, but not all of it and you'll start of neutral as far as alliances go
>>
I was wondering if anyone has steel, iron or carbon stuff to sell.

>>44130699
Oh, and Northern Soul owes me a fortification of one area.

Where do I go from here in this game, I wonder? Food and drink, shipping and luxury metalwork seem to be my main niches at the moment.
>>
>>44131659
Cool. Im looking forward to seeing the updated map. Hopefully my roads are on there this time...

>>44131705
Lemme know where ya want fortified bro. It'll need to be your build action, since its your dudes doing the lifting and shit, but my guys will show ye how to make some good walls and shit.
>>
>>44131705
And if ya wanna cut a deal, I can sell you some steel. Lemme know how much ya want and what you'll offer for it
>>
>>44131683
Aight. Which nations might become free? Can I reserve one now?
>>
>>44131832
Yumatsu and Zucaea haven't been on a while. And theres some territory freed up when a dude peaced out down south too. You could take the Desert Nomads and take over that area.

And yeah, these generals are for reserving spots and trading
>>
>>44131832
[13] and [6] are about to be opened up there players were only ever active for a few hours in game 2

Also Open are the
Desert Nomad Faction &
Cannibal Islander faction

However playing these is like doing hard mode because you will start in HARD MODE as the nations want to destroy you
>>
>>44131928
I hope Zucaea show up again. I allied with those fuckers for a reason.

If they don't, Im gonna move in. Gotta protect the people once my ally absconds, ya know?
>>
>>44131928
Oh yeah, is it now a thing that wiping out one of those Factions reveals a hidden resource? That seems to be a trend Im noticing...
>>
>>44131928
I haven't seen [7] and [9] active for a while
>>
>>44132071
[9] dropped in to just say fuck it, and disbanded his nation
>>
>>44132050
Yes
>>
>>44131928
I'll reserve 6 then, in the name of Free Knights of Camaro.

>>44131969
You just got a new neighbor
>>
>>44131928
Cannibal supremacy checking in to say not dead yet
>>
>>44132099
I've actually sort of considered placing tons of boobytraps, statues, unusual loot etc. on my kingdom and then leaving the kingdom as an adventuring country.
>>
>>44132111
...Oh. I...I didnt expect you to just come out and say it. Wellp.

>>44132128
What is your stance, neighbour?

>>44132142
Yet.
>>
>>44132111
Well. I didnt expect you to just come out and say it. Should we let the people playing them know that so they aren't too surprised when they get bumrushed?

>>44132128
A pleasure to make your acquaintance. What is your stance, neighbour?

>>44132142
Emphasis on yet.
>>
>>44132162
The more of us that die the more there is to eat, it's a win win situation
>>
>>44132230
It's no different than taking out another numbered nation for their resources
>>
>>44132274
Op, will these guys eventually get Mad Cow Disease?
>>
>>44132162
>>44132230

I guess I have to wait until the GM decide if I get the land but I'm peaceful and willing to ally with you.
>>
>>44132468
Also, I don't even know what kind of land I have.
>>
>>44132468
I was allied with Zucaea before you. Hell, I fortified their holy forest and got medicine in return. If you are willing, I am amenable. But yeah, we'll need to see what happens

New Borders Map.jpg
2 MB, 1848x1308
Guys This is my New map WIP, It only has the borders so you guys can see whats up, shortly I'll have the completed map up

>>44132468
Thats Fine, take 6

>>44132386
No lol

>>44132274
I Hope you join the monday game!
>>
>>44132468
Don't forget me brah
>>
>>44132508
Yep. Allying with you too.
>>
>>44132499
Ah well. We shall have to meet them in glorious battle. Are their islands forested?
>>
>>44132499
Will do op, Good work so far man
>>
>>44132499
In what kind of state my predecessor left my state?
>>
>>44132611
Ye had medicine and a fortified forest I think. That was about it.
>>
>>44132627
I guess I have to invest in military then. We are the Free Knights of Camaro after all.

Also, it would be a pleasure to ally with you, if you still want us.
>>
>>44132659
My large population could certainly make use of that medicine

We would be willing to make a deal with you
>>
>>44132627
And while we're at it, can you tell us about our other neighbors?
>>
>>44132692
We would indeed wish to trade with you. What can you trade for us for the medicine?
>>
>>44132659
I will gladly do so. I can help ye out with building your military, if ye so desire. And we would be glad of our your medicines.

>>44132695
As to the neighbours, the Pearl Isles are Cannibals, Greenland is another ally of mine and Stronk as Fuck. Venicia are peaceful explorers, good tech but not much military, though I will defend them if needs be. Mals hasn't done much desu, theyre probably too focused on the warmongers to their south to worry about others. the Stalagian tribes have pretty good infantry and large numbers of it but thats about it
>>
>>44132722
I'll take this as an excuse to post my stats

Current State of the Nation of Northern Soul

>>44130298
>>44130323
>>
>>44132773
Then we have a deal. We fear the cannibals and the Stalagian tribes' growing armies.

>>44132775
I wish the GM would tell me about my stats.
>>
>>44132775
So you have walls along your border with Venicia then?
>>
>>44132976
Hes working on maps and rules, give the dude a while. He needs these calm moments for that shit, this thread gets pretty chaotic for one dude to manage when everyones her
>>
>>44132976
That would be helpful

So how does us teaching you steel making for teaching us medicine making sound, then? We would still have to import the components from you to make them, and for them you could offer to exchange for any of our resources

>>44132985
Correct, friend
>>
>>44133034
I am not sure how well walls will fare against flying contraptions. But at least they remain peaceful. Be careful you do not needlessly isolate yourself, friend.
>>
>>44133016
Aight.

>>44133034
Sounds very much based. I will accept.
>>
>>44133070
It was a necessary precautionary measure, as their border is frightfully close to our Holy Lake, you understand

It would not do for an army to be able to march upon it from another nation overnight
>>
>>44132976
So, we will offer to fortify a few points, say 3 spots? In exchange, I would merely ask for a regular supply of medicines.
>>
>>44133094
Ah, of course. I see your worry comrade. Even the mightiest beast can be felled through decapitation, I understand.
>>
>>44133117
That would be acceptable, yes.
>>
>>44133215
Excellent. I am glad. Name the points and it shall be done
>>
>>44133240
which one is the holy forest from this map again?
>>44132499
>>
>>44133326
He never actually said, he just said his were the gods of the forest and I assumed it was the Northern Forrest,

Ill post your stats after I post the new map
>>
>>44133326
The Northern most one. Theres a shrine there, upon which are hung Ivory Tusks, 4ft in length, hunted and carved in my lands, lauding the spirits of the forest and the ingenuity of your peoples.

>>44133359
Aight.

>>44133382
We would like to build forts on these areas.
>>
>>44133466
Very well. At the turn of the seasons, it will be done.
>>
>>44133534
>>44133034

I have another question friends, who others should I reach out for an alliance?
>>
>>44133694
It depends on your goals, realistically. I would suggest, personally, keeping alliances to those near enough to you. And it would be wise to wait and see what groups are willing to offer. If you post what you have and mention you are seeking alliances you will get some responses quite possibly.
>>
>>44133694
Of course, if you check here>>44130323 you will see who I am allied with. They may be good for consideration.

I need to update that to switch Zucaea for Camaro, of course, but Ill wait and see if I make further trades before I update everything.

Newest Map.jpg
3 MB, 1848x1608
Okay guys this is the latest map, I worked hard to make the borders crisp and allow you to see the coastline,

I have made the mine types differentiated.

I widened a couple water ways so you can actually see they exsist

I changed the fort Icon so it looked more different then the town icon

Yeay
>>
>>44133792
Fucking sweet dude. Sorry to be at you right away but you left out my fort at 19,2. Other than that, its looking fucking sweet.
>>
>>44133792
Looking really good mate.
Towns and Capitals are overrated.
>>
>>44133792
So the 9 row just disappeared
>>
>>44133865
Nah dude, for those of us that use them they're pretty sweet. Mine is pretty much a massive fortress like.
>>
>>44133875
I think thats been like that since the start...
>>
>>44133888
Psawh go back to fucking walruses and freezing your bits off.
>>
>>44133920
Aren't you constantly trying and failing to subjugate some nomads?

Come to think of it, aren't ye pretty much nomads yerselves what with having no fucking cities?
>>
>>44133792
Hang on, OP, my highways have disappeared.
>>
>>44133902
Oh wow, you're right

What's up with that
>>
>>44133863
Okay, fixed so next time I have to post it, it will be there

>>44133865
If you tell me where they are Ill post them

>>44133875
What?
Also I missed one of your two wall forts, thats fixed

>>44133902
>>44133875
OH! huh I didnt make the base, only added the terrain and forrests and nation borders.
I Never noticed
>>
>>44133792
Nice work mate. Do I get a free capital or do I have to build it?
>>
>>44133968
Yea, becasue isnt it wrong? (also looked a little silly)
I didnt think you were still in the thread

I was gonna tell you to give me the coordinates for your cities and highway and i'll do it
>>
>>44133991
Usually you start with a capital and a tech. I took advanced architecture so I could fortify stuff, by way of an example.
>>
>>44133978
Sound out man. Wait. Did I have a fort at 1,10? I seem to remember there was a reason I built roads out that far but Im not sure...

capital.png
437 KB, 531x534
>>44134021
>>44133792

Then I'd put mine here.
>>
>>44134014
How many cities do I get?
>>
>>44134057
No Lenqus built that road, I just connected you to it, There is nothing there he was just giving you access to that sea,

>>44133991
>>44134021
Yea you get a capitol and two cities, I saw you made a map I've just been making that from scratch again over the last 3 hours so I didnt care to keep working on it

ALSO
Yes, you get one area of technology to start out that you dont need to research.

Actuall examples from this game include

Clockwork mechanisms
Architecture and Fortification
Advanced Iron working for Weapons
Greek Fire like substance

Itll help if you knew your starting recources hold on I'll tell you
>>
>>44134143
two
>>
>>44134161
Fair enough. Ill need to remember to make a fort and a port in that area.
>>
>>44134179
I went and gave myself six cities on my own, should I not have done that
>>
>>44134221
Yeah, you have to forfeit all your southern territory :^)
>>
>>44134221
You should of had 4 not counting your capitols but you were the first to map it out yourself so I gave it you, you do have the second largest population
>>
>>44134221
>>44134253
But really its your population to devide as you see fit so I don't really care
>>
>>44134271
How long until I surpass Baroxy and become da bess

I mean they're starving while I'm rolling in food, right

here's my capital

and here's the forts that Northern Soul promised to build for me
>>44133466

I do hope, I still have the medicine, that my predecessor had.
>>
>>44134311
They have less food than I do and my people were subsistence fishers at first.

And theyve like no towns. I think they just sleep in the open.

>>44134338
also the two blue rings are my cities.
>>
>>44134338
take it as your tech and you're assured it

>>44134366
>>44134161
If it's a tech, I'll take it.

Camaro
Population
45,000

Military
4,500 Infantry

80 Basic Naval Ships

Resources:
Your Mine is of Marble and Limestone
Your trees are Pine trees that grow 150 feet tall
Your open planes contains a type of ox that isnt effected by cold
Your northen plane contains penguins, which you have traded some of the Geenland

Your southern Forrest contains many mushrooms, as well as medicinal plants

>>
>>44134311
They have 85,000 population, and possibly like the nomads they live move arround or maybe like the mongols live in yurts they can move
>>
>>44134618
Ayup, sounds good. I'll take medicine.

Can we tame the oxen?
>>
>>44134179
If that's in addition to my capital, then they're at (6,19) and (9,22).
>>
>>44134665
Dude. If you manage it, I will buy a herd of the fuckers off you. Oxen that don't give a fuck about the cold? That shits perfect for me
>>
>>44134618
That's "affected", OP
>>
>>44134665

I bet your garrison on great pirate island are pretty fucking warm.
>>
>>44134730
Aint really my garrison, its a joint one. And that doesn't make my heartlands any less cold bro
>>
>>44134711
Aight, we'll take Advanced Iron working for Weapons
>>
>>44134754
>And that doesn't make my heartlands any less cold bro

I'm suggesting the opposite, that they probably feel warm because they've come from a cold place
>>
>>44134709
Actually its not

>Affect is usually a verb, and effect is usually a noun. To affect something is to change or influence it, and an effect is something that happens due to a cause. When you affect something, it produces an effect. Here are a few examples of the words used correctly in these senses But the words have other, less commonly used senses that can make them tricky. Effect does function as a verb when it bears the sense to bring about. For instance, it is the correct word in phrases such as effect change and effect solutions where these phrases mean to bring about change and to bring about solutions. It’s possible to imagine where the phrase affect change might make sense, but it would mean to have an effect on change rather than to bring about change.

If I had said the cold did not affect them, then yes but I was talking about the ox, and if they were less hardy then they would be dead, the cause being brought from the effect of the snow.

tl:dr fuck off
>>
>>44134801
Yeah, the dudes in the garrison get to be warm. Thats 100 people of a population of 37,000. My people at home could do with some cold-invuln oxen so we can survive winters easier.
>>
>>44134793
Okay, if you wish but before you make that choice no you do not have a source of iron, and if you were going to trade for the iron then why not trade for the weapons as several of your neighbors already have better weapons then that
>>
>>44134809
That's still the wrong usage of effect.

You stated that "Your open planes contains a type of ox that isnt effected by cold". If you mean that the type of ox was the outcome of the cold, then you would have said "... a type of ox that has been effected by the cold" or "... a type of ox of a nature effected by the cold".

You stated that the ox "was not effected by the cold". The grammatically correct interpretation of this phrase is that the type of ox was NOT a result of the cold, which is obviously not what you meant.

You meant "a type of ox that isn't affected by the cold" but you fucked up and used the wrong word.
>>
>>44134891
Oh shit. Can I suggest my own tech or do I have to choose one of those you mentioned?

If I can choose my own, I'd go with military tactics.
>>
>>44135022
No because the subject of my sentence was not the cold, it was the oxen. the effect brought about by the affect of the snow is death. The oxen are not dead.
>>
>>44133978
Would you plunk a capital basically just to the right of the eight. I personally imaged most of the people lived in small communities centralized around ether farming or ming that it would be tedious to mark them all on a map. Yurts are also pretty boss.
>>
>>44135133
Exactly, and the correct word to use in that case is "affect". "The oxen are not affected by the cold".

To say that "the oxen are not effected by the cold" states that the oxen are not the consequence of the cause that is the cold.

effect :

- To make or bring about; to implement.

(eg. "The best way to effect change is to work with existing stakeholders.")

- Misspelling of affect.
>>
>>44135337
Effect
1. Effect can be used as a noun when you are talking about a result.

Example: What effect did the loss have on the team?

3. Effect can be used as a verb in one situation - if you want to describe something that was caused.

Example: The new manager effected some positive changes in the office. (This means that the new manager caused some positive changes to take place in the office.)
>>
>>44135402
>>44135337
SUbject is really fucking important and you are wrong.

The oxen are hardy and therefore not subject to death, which is the effect of the cold - A much longer and unnecessary version of what I said
>>
>>44135447
How ''not subject'' are they? Like will they continue to produce good quantities of milk all year? Sounds like the key to ensuring that my people have a guaranteed supply of foodstuffs all year round...
>>
>>44135402
In your sentence about the oxen, you aren't using effect (noun). You're using effect (verb).

You've used effect (v.) and you've said that the oxen are "not effected". The grammatically correct way to interpret this is that the oxen are NOT the cause of the cold. That the cold did not produce the nature of this type of oxen.

I'm guessing you never liked to read much?
>>
>>44135498
Yes, they are basically musk ox
>>
>>44135447
You mean that the oxen are not affected by the cold. That the cold does not affect them, that they are immune to or protected from the cold.
>>
Are you guys seriously wasting 20 posts on this shit? OP's made mistakes before and no one cared enough to waste their time like this.

>>44135549
Can ya make wool from them, perchance?

>>44135565
Shitposters and trolls rarely employ such logic as one as wise as yourself, Teldor.
>>
>>44135507
They literally can both be used as nouns or verbs depending on the structure and context of the sentence. Google it, thats why every description says
>is USUALLY used as a verb
and
>is USUALLY used as a noun and I'm done arrguing this becasue

> The grammatically correct way to interpret this is that the oxen are NOT (subject to) the cause of the cold

Then yes you're right.
>>
>>44135549
>>44135601
Um, yes you could sheer them, however come winter they would probably not fare so well, maybe if you only did it in the spring?
>>
>>44135685
Thats the idea alright, yeah. I'd probably build some barns and stuff for them first anyway.

My people could use some warm clothes.
>>
>>44135719
I already have winter clothing, my friend. I was actually surprised that you never showed any interest
>>
>>44135623
In your description of the oxen, you tell everybody that the oxen are not the effect of the cold. THat the cold has not produced the oxen. That is what you are saying.

What you mean to say, but do not say, is that the oxen are not affected by the cold - that the cold does not influence the ox because of its woolly hair or whatever. That's what you wanted to say, but you were impeded by incorrect grammar.

"To make or bring about; to implement." is the only meaning of effect (verb).

is wrong, and also

>In your description of the oxen, you tell everybody that the oxen are not the effect of the cold. THat the cold has not produced the oxen. That is what you are saying.

That is not what I am saying and only the shittiest kind of person would argue that that is what I am trying to tell people. No amount of this will change that.

Instead of continuing to shitpost go start a thread in /lit/ or something about it. I wont join you there but it would be a better place for you
>>
>>44135772
Hey Odd you said you were gonna gimme my stas and research stats today if you have the time between arguing with that dude about grammar.
>>
>>44135829
I mean you could also moce your heard to the north shore of your new southern territory, they would still be okay there, as thats where your walrus go in winter. Then you could mix smelly ox hair into the clothing from Lenqus and have the ultimate waterproof winter clothing.
>>
>>44135829
Would you be willing to accept an exchange of silver for such clothing?

Given you could not grow the cotton in your cold lands, I could tell you how to fashion them, but we might as well skip the middleman, as it were.
>>
>>44135925
This sounds like a good plan to me. Much better than my plan of instituting mandatory ''sewing in''

>>44135940
Well, I do not have a permanent supply of silver but if you desire what silver I have, I would happily trade you it for the cotton and the knowledge of how they were made.

Those sites don't back you up.

Right in your second sited link it states that "Effect can be used as a verb in one situation - if you want to describe something that was caused."

"isn't effected" is what you've said. That the oxen are not something that were caused by the cold. That's what you've stated.
>>
>>44136003
Ah, of course. I forgot. Well if you intend to clothe all of your people, that amount of silver may not suffice for the amount of cotton it would take. However I would be willing to offer enough to properly clothe your army. Any more will require further trading.
>>
>>44136115
Sure, you can have basic military tactics as a technology

>>
>>44136149

>>
>>44136151

>>
>>44136270
Hmm. Your access to mead implies to me that you have knowledge of fermentation. There are a few products that I could make use of this knowledge with. If you provide me with this knowledge, the silver, and offer to give me a deal on any future improvements to the clothing, I will give you as much cotton as you need, and teach you how to make clothing out of it.
>>
>>44136364
Comrade, would you be willing to trade a sustainable herd of your Oxen with us? With them to ensure our food supplies and even better our winter survivability, I would be able to offer much better trading opportunities.

>>44136405
Hmm. Very well. I will send some of my master brewers to the University at the turn of the season, along with a supply of silver. I will also promise favourable rates for future exchange of improvements to the clothing. In exchange, you supply the necessary knowledge and cotton. Are we agreed?

> Cannons
> gun powder
> iron
> coal
> wood
> exotic animal pelts (big cats)
> fruits and fruit alchols
> copper and tin
> Bronze
> the desert things of Geomund
Things I've received:

> 2 ornate carved horns
> messenger pigeons (one gender)
> ship building knowledge
My forces include:
> cannons
> 9000 soldiers
> 165 average cannon armed ships

> military academy
> pikes

I am however, interested in Cannons and Gunpowder for sure.

Of course, comrade, of course. In fact, if any of my knowledge or expertise can be of use to you in improving your current stocks, I will gladly offer aid in expectation of access to the eventual results.
>>

>>44138644
Are you still interested in trading with me, good sir? I am sure you will find it to both of our benefit.
>>
>>44138707
I'll be more than happy to help you become an economic power house. I benefit from selling and buying! Let me know when and I can trade these weapons for the balloons.

>>44138802
I'm thinking about what I would like. I believe our tech levels are similar. I would like your superior architecture and possibly ballistae but as I have cannons the latter might be less valuable. We still have a 1 for 1 powder/mead trade I believe.

What would you want from me?

I have a special "Coal Iron" which I'm not quite sure about...I think it's steel? I didn't mention earlier too.
>>
>>44138919
I have steel as well, as it happens. And I had forgotten of our trade in powder and mead, thank you for reminding me.

That being the case, what have you to trade? Could you perhaps post a list of such?

My own is here>>44130298

I know for a fact that Mining and Steelworking will be very important to the expansion of my Gem Mines, as I plan to use gems as a basis of stable Currency in the near future.

Not to mention this other fact. There are likely many nobles and wealthy out in the world who would be interested in your ivory. If I could find the means to sell it to them, then I could return to you with the profits (with a cut to cover shipping fee's of course).

I'm also planning on researching refining and artistry techniques, such as goldsmithing, gem cutting, and if agreeable, Ivory cutting. By taking in raw Ivory, then refining it into artistic products to increase their value, both of us gain increased profits!

>>44138919
And buying and selling is what I plan to be about!
>>
>>44139052
I like the idea. I have actually got a plan in the works to expand my ivory operation. Its a resource I must carefully watch over, of course, as it depends on wild game, but I do have a plan in the works.

If you can build a port, or build me a skydock, I could move carved ivory to you for distrbution to domestic markets worldwide and we could split the profits.
>>
>>44139156
Very good. I'll see about building a skyport in your lands as soon as possible.

I posted a rather lazy one earlier...

Things I have for trade:
> cannons
> gun powder
> fruits & various fruit alchols
> jungle cats and their pelts/claws etc. Tigers, leopards
> iron
> tin
> copper
> Bronze
> coal
> 'coal iron'/ carbon iron
> fish
> desert dwelling domesticated creatures
> goats (I think I need go check what geomund had)
> wood
> eels

I have knowledge of:
> roads
> smelting and casting of metals
> basic foundary
> universities
> military academy (set it up right at the end I think when i reshuffled my army)
> Good ship building

Sorry it took a while, I read through the old threads. Hopefully you are still around I missed some of your messages last thread by going to sleep, sorry man you have been really open to trade. I'm a Bong, lad.
>>
>>44139379
Hmmm. What can you tell me about these goats? They intrigue me.

What does your military academy teach? And what of this ''foundary''? I feel these might be of benefit to my people.
>>
>>44139463
interestingly enough after taking over Geomund I believe I gained their resources/tech.

The foundary is originally mine for the smelting of metals and forging of cannons en masse. It has seen been bolstered by Geomunds knowledge.

The academy doesn't do too much yet but it's where my officers will be trained, especially those in command of cannons. It's part of my formation of a standing army. Allowing a larger force overall.

The goats, I think, are the desert nomads main food supply. They provide milk. I can get some for trade. The same region has baboons and pterodactyl's supposedly. As well as some bird like desert mounts.

Not sure if OP accepted all this but he wrote it.
>>
>>44139692
Note that you didn't get all of his land, only a portion
>>
>>44139692
Hmmm. Well, if you would be willing to trade to me a sustainable herd of goats, I would be pleased. I would also be quite interested in your foundry, if you would be willing to offer it. Perhaps you could send some people to build one in my lands?

You know what I can offer in return. What would you have of me? Perhaps we can strike a deal.

I know, but I got the tin and copper. Presumably then the people who could craft it plus any other such knowledge.

>>44139784
Further reading suggests the nomads ride these goat things while the regular goats are in the commonwealth... I suppose we can assume pic related also has milk? I'd like your medical knowledge, to help my people survive. We can hold the deal until OP conformation
>>
>>44139919
Looking at the map, you do not seem to have claimed any of the nomads lands. I am doubtful that you have found any of these beasts as you think.

Regardless, what would you have of me in return for a Foundry?
>>
>>44140072
You know I can make those too, right
>>
>>44140088
You can? Well then, that changes matters. How about it, my old ally, would you trade them to me?
>>
>>44140088
You are right about that. Although, not sure what I got in return especially as you sized the island for yourself.

>>44140072
Geomund had domesticated them and been taught to ride them by the nomads. When he left his land to me I assume I got them too...if you no longer wish to deal with me so be it.
>>
>>44140129
To be honest friend, we share so much already that there is precious little left for you to offer me.

But I will build you one just to further tighten the bond between our nations.

All I need is your continued support.
>>
>>44140178
No, I learned how on my own through research
>>
>>44140189
That shall be greatly appreciated. I will have some tusks sent to you, praising your generosity.

>>44140178
Well then, good sir, it seems I shall not need any foundry from you. However, if you wish yet to trade, I am amenable.
>>
>>44140204
It was a shared research deal. I however rolled solely for it then you took it because I wasn't actively posting. I made a poor trade it seems... I have just been reading through the earlier threads.
