Not homebrew so inherently less interesting, but my group is currently playing a game in the setting using Savage Worlds.
I haven't seen the show myself, but it seems alright so far. Though obviously some aspects are confusing to me, so I avoided making an important character.
I have heard of a boerdgame of sorts based of this show, kind of like pictionaty

It just kinda grows with popularity. Undertale is the fastest evolution of this I've seen. The steps are simple:

>Fans come in
>Insane fans come in
>People who hate insane fans come in
>People hate show out of proxy emerge
Then people who just like the show give up on ever having a reasonable discussion because the 2 extremes of insane are so loud and vocal that nothing can ever come of simple discussion again. Gravity Falls was actually headed in this direction before Steven Universe took the bullet for them. Now the people who want something to despise have their scapegoat and GF can walk away scott free, but the levels of hate the show was getting was building up fast before they all migrated.

The DM then reads them, and based on how similar the player's cards are, determined how the fusion functions. There's a pool of "Stability" which can get increased or decreased; if it gets sufficiently high, the players can stop writing in and just actively cooperate for the rest of the encounter. If it gets sufficiently low, the fusion becomes unstable, or even breaks apart. If however they go too unstable too quickly, they become chaotically bound together against their will and have to stabilize before they can split. I don't see the hate for this scene. I get that it's easy to just write Pearl's character off as "LOL CRAZY LESBIAN!" but what really is happening is that she's a mass produced luxury slave gem type of thing who is completely devoted to their master, and, fairly recently in the eyes of a gem, her master has disappeared and there's a little fat kid with her soul in his stomach. While Rose probably taught her individuality and whatnot, the whole "I'm a slave gem" mentality is still in her. She feels completely fucking lost and useless without Rose. I actually like her characterization, especially after Friend Ship where Garnet tells her she's strong enough to not have to rely on others.

Like they had a thing, which they did previously in a much better episode prior to this, and continuing that they just did the exact same thing again but spelled it out in song form 20 times in a row. Then because that wasn't blunt enough, that fuckin line just the nail it in blunter than a sonic sez lesson.
It was hammy, forced, and worst off flat out recycled. I can't believe anyone got anything out of that episode. It's what confirmed for me that season 2 had gone past the line of unwatchable into pure shit.

Actually, I've given legitimate pre-meditation of running a /tg/ SU quest, focused on a Military Division trained to deal with feral/insane/monstrous gems.
I'll tweak the setting to be kinda AU, basically by making the feds take a more direct approach in the suppression & elimination of not!shoggoths the protagonist trio aren't handling. Why? Aliens, votes, and reasons.
I'm imagining the start feeling like a less mind-breaking 'Delta Green' with maybe some Monster Hunter, depending on how tactical anon wants to keep the action. Around the late game (mid if luck favors it) is where gets real overt and fun. Plan is to give a mix of Starship Troopers, X-Com, and maybe some other cool Sci-Fi shit (again, depending on the fortune of choice.)
I've already put some thought and planning into this, but it's still quite bony. I'm just dropping the prospect here right now to see if I'll get players or be horribly lynched.
Yeah, I probably could've made a new thread for this, but I didn't want to clutter the board with stuff on iffy terms with /tg/.
Anyway, if you guys wanna leave input, opinions, whatever, do so now. I want a general idea of what reception I'll get for pulling something like this before sinking too much time into it.
