I personally like to play up Piggy orcs as being kinda-sorta muslim in a way, in the sense that they don't abide by cannibalism or eating pigs. So wearing their dead kin probably wouldn't be accepted, at least by how I'm imagining them.
Then again; having a boar warrior tell his buds they can cut up his body and use his skin to protect them for as long as they shall live could be a pretty cool cultural quirk.

Orcs evolved from pigs, much like how humans evolved from primates. Much like the pigs they descend from, they are brutish, omnivorous, and very fecund, allowing them to survive and thrive in nearly any environment. They are social creatures, and mostly live in more primitive hunter-gatherer societies.
Orcs are sexually dimorphic, meaning that there are much more prominent differences between the sexes.
Orc males have +2 STR, +2 CON, -2 INT, and Powerful Build(counts as Large when convenient). Orc men resemble boars, with mangy fur, large tusks, and broad snouts.
Orc females have +2 STR, +2 CHA, -2 INT, and a heightened sense of smell, granting advantage to Perception checks involving scent, and Survival checks made to forage. Orcish women resemble pigs, with smooth skin, shorter snouts, and curly tails.

You can use Pigs to hunt for truffles, mushrooms and other wild things, heck if you want I'm sure you could make them sniff anything a dog can, plus from the pig you use everything and he can eat nearly every organic thing and transform it in beacon, it has great reproductive capabilities and can be near auto sufficient so is dirt cheap to raise them (Iberian pigs are nearly feral and must be the tastiest animal out there in par with a waygu cow).
The french rpg Rêve de Dragon (Ouroboros the dream, as it was translated) has some pig orcs in the game called the groins.
Their name is based on the french word for pig nose.
The game dates back from 1980's and I'm currently DM'ing the official scenarios, which are amazing.

The whole rpg itself reflects extremely well that style : the scenarios are crazy, people your PCs meet are borderline insane/very weird and the guy who made the game purposely wanted to create scenarios that renewed the RPG genre back in the 80's.
I definitely recommend it, just for the crazy ideas and the system which is a wonder.
By far one of the best french rpgs out there.

I was trying to do something that would make playing a race other then human feel really different, since I'd imagine human's main thing is being able to assign their ability scores at will where as other races are more set in stone as to what their highest stat will always be.
Maybe instead it could be like 'Strength higher then Intellegence' for the Pig men instead? So you could still have a different stat be higher but your strength stat must be assigned a number higher then your Intellegence stat? That way there is a lot more player agency but the pig man will always be stronger then smart. They would still make poor Wizards but could potentially be useful in a different class other then fighter, they just have more brawn then brains perhaps?

To be honest, it'd still irk me but I'd be willing to work with that at least. Personally, my method has always been to guide the player somewhat or at least ask them to explain why that race. Even if its just a bg thing, it roots them in my setting and that gives them a list of things.
For example, most of my wood elves are a lot like DA's Dalish. I advise players as such and they can then build their backstory, fluff and even class this way.
It helps that I have good players though. If yer players are cunts, you might need to force the issue. If not, give em a bit of reign and see what they do with it. They can surprise you sometimes.

If the races can all be the same I feel they might as well just be cosmetic; I'd personally like more mechanically inclined races which makes the outliers more interesting. It also helps when you use a system like mine where each stat covers a multitude of things for each class.

Porcs in my setting:
Humanity was changed with the revelation of magic.
People who used life style magic which used the spirits of nature and beasts fused with it and became the various races of Elves and Beast men.
Although some would like to classify orcs and saurians as such that isn't the truth.
Saurians are an alien race from one of the 4 planets in our vicinity which was destroyed by the Grand Demon Ka'Ba.
The saurians fought back valiantly but still lost the battle and their home-world is no more.
The last survivors swore vengeance and followed the path of destruction that Ka'Ba left behind waiting for the right time to strike it down.
Meanwhile Ka'Ba descended into the dessert on our world.
He took control of the native humans, impersonated one of the local deities and organized their society in order to spread his influence and enslave the whole of humanity.
His followers were expected to visit his holy site once in their lifetimes and this is where he spread his corruption.
This my people is the origin of the orcs.
They were humans but changed not by their own efforts in magic and freedom but by the hand of a demon with nothing but conquest and destruction on his mind.
Their fanaticism soared to high havens but humanity fought back.
Slowly our magic power grew and with the help of the saurians the demon Ka'Ba was destroyed and his evil followers scattered.
Orcs still believe in their demon lord, it is in their blood and they have attempted to bring him back many times.
Each time however we were successful in stopping them.
They breed like rats and will shun from nothing in the name of their evil god.
Thus beware the ideas of treating them like kin to us humans because evil is already in their blood.
Showing mercy or pity to them will only bring disaster on your fellow human races and as such rooting them out is the duty of all the good races of this world.
