Information: After being betrayed by the Empress of the Heran Empire, the Saiyans fought a fierce battle that ended in the death of Seripa, and the conquest of the New Heran Empire. Returning to his ship, Daikon was informed that his empire is being invaded. Setting a trap on a distant world, Daikon and the Saiyans now rush to confront the invaders.
Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place in the years Frieza controlled Planet Vegeta, as the Saiyans grow in strength and try to find a way to free themselves.
Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.
Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)
During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.
If a 100 is rolled, it is considered a crit success (unless 100 was the number you had to match).
If a 1 is rolled, it is a crit failure, regardless of whether or not the other two rolls are high enough to succeed.
If, during a battle, players want to attempt a writein action, that is allowed, but I am the one who will assign the number to it, so use caution
You're a young male Saiyan who fought in the war with the Tuffles. You are an average fighter for now, but have the potential of one of the greatest warrior races to roam the universe flowing through your veins. There is no limit to what you can accomplish through blood, sweat, and tears.

As your ship touches down, you activate your scouter. Frowning, you see that there are few power levels on the planet in the area of your soldiers. You received messages from your men on your way here, so you expected the situation to be grim, but you were hoping they'd hold on at least until you arrived.
You detect a variety of power levels around a thousand several miles away, accompanied by more than a dozen of five thousand or higher.
You also detect a small group you believe might be survivors.

You decide to find the survivors first, and make your way across the planet, passing over smoking ruins that were once impressive cities, the charred remains of forests, and enough craters to cover a moon. Finally, you spot a small group of terrified looking aliens up ahead. As you come in, some aim their blasters in your direction, but most just put their heads between their legs and wait to die.
When you land, the braver ones lower their blasters, and the cowards open their eyes to stare at you in surprise and joy.
"M-my lord," one of the soldiers greets, his voice swimming with emotion. "Thank goodness you're here."
"What happened?" Soko asks.
"W-we set up the ambush like you said," the soldier explains. "We took out at least a hundred of them, but there were just so many, and some of them were way too powerful."
"Speaking of which, it looks like they're on their way," Rugula comments, reading her scouter.
You read more than dozen coming your way, with the lowest at five thousand and the strongest over ten thousand. Not much threat to you and the Saiyans.

You tell the Saiyan Warriors to follow you, while instructing the others to return to the ship.
"I'll go with them," Kamatsuna tells you. "I don't have any interest in this battle."
"Gine, you go with her," Bardock instructs his wife.
"Right," she says before taking to the air.
As Kamatsuna, Gine, and the others begin their flight to the ship, you race to meet the invaders. Accompanied by some of the mightiest Saiyan Warriors in the universe, you fly toward the enemy, confident you can easily win this battle.
"There they are!" Soko calls.
You see them approaching, a myriad of familiar looking aliens wearing scouters and battle armor that mark them as members of the Frieza Force.
A horned creature with short brown hair smirks when he sees you.
"Well, waddya know?" he asks. "Saiyans."
"Are you sure they're Saiyans?" a bald, green-skinned female asks. "Their power levels are much higher than low-class Saiyans should ever have."
"Can't you see the tails?" the first alien replies. "They're Saiyans alright."
He addresses you next. "Now look here, Lord Frieza is going to want to have a few words with you. It'll be easier for all of us if you just come quietly."

You quickly thrust your hand toward the horned creature, firing a blast of energy that sends him crashing down from the sky. The green woman fires a blast in retaliation, but you quickly move out of the way, and she's killed a moment later by a punch from Azu.
You dive after the horned man, firing down a blast that incinerates him before turning your attention to the enemies above.
To say that the Saiyans are winning would be a massive understatement. The fact of the matter is that your enemies are being slaughtered. You watch as Soko blasts a soldier into oblivion, and Sabi pummels one into a bloody pull. Toma and Bardock take down three easily, while Rugula and Azu blast away four more. Totapo breaks one's neck, and soon only three remain.
"Daikon, we've got a problem," you hear over your scouter. "A power level of 18,000 is approaching the planet."

The two Saiyans break off their attacks, and the three of you speed off as Kamatsuna tells you where the ship will be landing. Your scouter registers a power level of 18,000, just as Kamatsuna described, heading right for you.
Looking into the sky, you see a round shape streak through the air, crashing in the distance with a thundering boom.
"This might be fun," Bardock comments as the three of you approach the landing site.
"Don't let your guard down," Azu warns. "Whoever this is, they're stronger then any of-"
You see a red shape speed toward you. Before you can properly react, it shoots past you and raises into the air as you glance back.
You hear laughter, and see a figure surrounded by red light rapidly descending toward you.

Can we leave an exploding orb of energy at the point we just dodged from. Wouldn't think it would require any aim, the intention is for the enemy to run into it themselves. And if done with our hand pointing behind us it could be a surprise. I imagine it would be somewhat weak though as we want to waste no time and concentration into making it.

You quickly move out of the way, and watch as the unknown enemy plunges to the ground, striking in a fiery crash that creates a massive crater and sends a massive cloud of smoke up into the sky.
"Well, well, look what I found," you hear in the sky above you.
Looking up, you see a fish-faced, indigo-colored alien with scaly skin, green boots, and a green scouter. He slowly descends until he hovers in front of you and your friends.
You can hear his scouter beeping as he takes in your power levels.
"With your power levels, you might actually keep me entertained for a little while," he comments with a smirk before his scouter stops reading. "Lord Frieza would prefer to have you alive, but I'm not sure that will be possible."
"You aren't going to beat us you damn fish-faced freak!" Bardock shouts.
"Ah, typical Saiyan," the alien comments. "You never know when to watch your mouth."
Bardock clenches his fists, barely restraining himself from charging the alien.
"It would be best if you all attacked me at once," the alien warns. "That way you might last a few minutes."

You tell everyone to attack together, and rush forward toward the alien.
Your foe smirks, seeming to vanish as you throw a punch aiming for his smug face. You know what's coming, but are unable to stop him from kicking you in the back, sending you plummeting toward the ground.
You land in a crouch and look up to see Azu strike him in the back like he did to you, sending him down toward you. Pushing yourself off the ground, you launch yourself up and throw an uppercut into his jaw.
He's knocked back, and as he makes an indignant noise and prepares to counter, Bardock smashes him over the head with a double-axe handle.
The alien spins and fires a blast at Bardock, only to have Azu charge and punch him in the side of the head, causing him to lose his balance and his blast to miss entirely. Bardock rushes forward and punches him in the gut, stopping the alien's effort to punch Azu back.
As the alien pulls back his fist to punch at Bardock, you rush him from behind, hitting him with a kick that sends him crashing into the ground and kicks up more dust.
A massive wave of energy shoots from the dust, heading straight for you.

You move out of the way of the blast and begin charging toward the cloud of dust.
"Look out!" you hear Azu shout.
Glancing over your shoulder, you see the alien right behind you, fist pulled back for a punch.
"Got ya!" he shouts before punching you in the face and sending you crashing not far from where he did.
He lifts both hands above his head, producing a ball of energy. As he prepares to throw it down at you, Azu fires an energy blast that strikes him in the back, causing him to lose his focus.
As you pick yourself off the ground, you see him rush Azu, quickly forcing her back before Bardock jumps in. He holds his own quite well against the two Saiyans, and soon knocks Azu back with a punch to the face before spinning and sending Bardock flying back with an energy blast.

Putting energy into your feet, you launch yourself off the ground and rush up toward the enemy as fast as you can.
Catching him off-guard, you grab him from behind, and before he knows what's happening, you suplex him and send him slamming painfully on the ground.
You rain down a barrage of energy blasts, kicking up dust and making the ground shake. When it all clears, you see that your enemy is hurt, but still very much able to go on. He picks himself off the ground.

"Bardock, let's go!" you shout to the other Saiyan.
"Right," he shouts back, and the two of you spring toward the alien, who laughs and ascends into the air, raining energy blasts down on you.
The two of you nimbly dodge the bombardment, climbing into the air after your foe and quickly closing in. Bardock fires an energy blast that the alien deflects, leaving him wide open.
You rush in, slamming your fist into your foe's gut. He gasps and hunches over, and you move back before firing an energy wave that sends him flying into the distance.
As he begins to recover, a massive wave of energy shoots up from the ground, catching the alien unawares and striking him full force. He screams, being thrown high into the sky and vanishing from sight.
You luck down to see Azu back on her feet, some blood streaking down her face, but otherwise unharmed.
The screaming of the alien returns, and you see him plummet to the ground, crashing in front of Azu. You and Bardock come down to stand beside her, and watch the alien, whose scouter has been shattered, and his armor cracked, push himself up, looking fearfully at the three of you.
"O-okay, wait!" he begs. "Just hold on. I-I have the craziest idea. Why don't we team up? I mean, you guys are strong, but you can't beat Frieza on your own."
Bardock scowls.
The alien glances over at him nervously before continuing. "I don't like the guy, I never liked the guy. I was just following orders, you know? But if we teamed up, we could start with Zarbon and Dodoria, and just work our way up. We can have the whole ball of wax for ourselves, people!"

"I-I'm serious! Think about it!" he pleads. "I'm one of Frieza's top men! I could be a huge help to you."
"You sicken me," you say as a ball of light appears in front of your hands, quickly growing larger. "Die like a warrior!"
He scowls, pulling back his left hand. "YOU FIRST!"
As he begins to thrust his hand forward, you unleash a massive wave of energy, one that utterly consumed the blast he fires, along with his entire body.
You hear him scream, and keep pouring more and more energy into the attack, watching your scouter as it shows his power beginning to plummet. It takes every bit of power you have, but soon, his energy disappears, and when you stop your attack and bend forward, panting, you see nothing left of the alien warrior.
"So that's one of Frieza's top men," Bardock comments, not seeming very impressed. "Good to know our time out here's paid off, then."
"Yeah, another year or two, and we'll be strong enough to take on Frieza," Azu says with some confidence.
You take a moment to consider what you've done here today. You've wiped out a group of soldiers that you can only assume to be Frieza's elites, and took down someone who claimed to be one of Frieza's top men.
You've come a long way in the past few years. From a low-class warrior who was among the weakest Saiyan fighters, to the second or third most powerful of your race, with the strength to confront even Frieza's elites.
King Vegeta's plan seems to be coming to fruition. Azu just may be right. Soon, you may be strong enough to defeat Frieza.
