In all seriousness:
To stat an individual hunter say in 5e as a boss, they would probably want some abilities pulled from the Hunter Ranger class (horde breaker?), some legendary actions, and I'd go so far as to give her something like relentless avenger from the vengeance paladin as well.
Maria would need a ton of HP, good AC, fast movement, probably the ability to avoid opportunity attacks a la mobile.
Idk if you want her to transform, but otherwise just give her some AoE legendary actions that also have her flying around the battlefield.
Like I would build her base form kind of character like but cribbed impossibly from multiple classes, as that's how hunters are in bloodborne, and then just stick her transform powers into her legendary actions.
She's probably one of the more fun boss fights in bloodborne but idk how to carry across how deadly that fight is to an rpg where you can't respawn a few times.
Maybe she needs to just be recurring and doesn't kill the party. She is after allmostly there to protect people, and maybe kos's child and corpse. As the theory goes, she's referring more to kos's corpse than her own when she says a corpse should be left well alone. Which I buy into.so it's possible she might let the party live out of mercy once or twice before really fucking their shit up. Because I mean she'd pretty much be unstoppable at killing your squishy characters. Wizards definitely will want to cast invisibility and stay away from her AoE.

The cane is fine but let's be real, the hunters axe is the real MVP of the game. Granted a good number of weapons can deal more damage but what the axe lacks in damage it make up in track and knock back.
Truth be told, I beat Maria on my third try. Well timed axe spins can pretty much null out any close range attacks she tries to unleash. After that's it's just a game of waiting for her to charge and dodging the long range BS.

I didn't call the cane shit. It's a solid weapon, the axe is just vastly superior imo. It has equal or greater reach, deals more damage, and can knock most enemies prone. The cane is better for a series of very fast hits but if the enemy is not staggered by this then it sorta falls short. Also everything is a legit tactic as long as it's not caused by a glitch or bug.

Also to note, I've beaten the game with both the cane and the axe. Right now I'm playing through the game with an arcane focused build and stared with the cane then switched to the tonitrus. I can beat the game with almost any build I am sure, I just like the axe the most.

For pvp its a medicore weapon that with skill can net you some reasonable wins, but in pve it fucking shines.
Massive stagger output, range and radius of swings allow you to hit multiple weakpoints or weakpoints that are out of reach and it does bonus serration damage.
