So, I've seen various Civilization threads pop up over time, and I was wondering if any of you knew how to play it? If you have spreadsheets or other online resources, sharing them would be nice.

1) Always go with the first 3 to a decision, no waffling.
2) Have a system and an idea for what kinda thing you wanna go for right away. If you don't want to run a specific race, make that clear early on.
3) It's okay to just straight up start a thing with a specific race and a concept and run with it.
4) Be detailed about the place, about the world. Let players suggest the directions for your civilization to grow in, and then move with that, but you have to be the one to fill in the details, don't expect your players to do so.
