You couldn't believe the opportunity that was presented to you. You have spent the last three years training on the moon getting intimately familiar with the RGM-79[GT] Ground Type. And, it is finally coming to an end. Just a couple more days before the annual war games to weed out the last candidates. And, you can just feel the bubbling in your stomach as the day approaches.

But, first who are you?

Name?
Gender?

Note: Your squad you've yet to meet consists of two men and two women.

You were John Jacob Smith. You kind of hated your parents for giving you such a normal name. But, you loved them all the same. Still your decision to join the IEF has been met with?

And, yet? (Your background initial impression you give off, pick one)

>You were born into a privileged family. And, never had to fear about living without food, or having the spectre of war hanging over your head. Your joining of the IEF has left a rather large wound in your family. Your mother feels like a failure. Your father wants you to get your head out of your ass and take over the family business. A younger sister is calling you a baby killer while another just wants you to come home. But, you always wanted to be a mobile suit pilot when they were first revealed to the world.

>You were born into a nation that wasn't apart of the umbrella of safety that UFSFN provided. Joining the IEF seemed like a no brainer ensuring that you could gain citizenship for you and your family. As a result your parents while worried have rallied around you, and a younger brother is eager to follow in your footsteps.

>You were just an average kid who saw the IEF as a means of getting an education. Why would they need mobile suits anyways to put down a Mars rebellion? So you chose a job expecting it to be light. And, now you are excited its almost over waiting on a comfy deployment while you get the best care packages from Mom and Dad.

So 2 it is. Working on next update.

"Hey," a voice called out to you from the darkness. Why couldn't they just leave you alone it was always nice to sleep in a real bed for once.

"Fuck," the voice offered up a tinge of worry in its voice, "Drill Sergeant Diaz is about to walk through those doors."

Why wouldn't they shut the hell up.

"Alicia, grab his legs," wait what the fuck? Are you being moved.

"How the hell is he so heavy? He was a twig when he came in here," a feminine voice complained.

"Because he had to a eat more rations to catch up with us. Plus, you know he totally stole more when he had to chance."

"Still though," Alicia grunted, "John wake up! It's the war games today, you stupid git!"

What do?

So wait, what timeline are we in?
Pic and our Mobile Suits model number imply UC, but that year almost implies AD.
Or is this a timeline unique to this quest?

Get up.
We do NOT want to be the only one ten toes up when a DS comes through that door.

Looks like it'll be unique to this quest, likely drawing MS designs from multiple sources.

This could hopefully lead to some fun mixing and matching of tech from different series.

>psychoframe enhanced GN twin-drive system for maximum new type shenanigans when?
