You are John Bayliff, a Dishwasher at Mackleroy’s, a Brewpub in the Midwest.
You're riding in the back-seat of Kim's Continental, Wally is riding shotgun and smoking a cigarette, it appears that smoking is fine while food and drink is right out. Wally calls out to you.
"Enjoying the ride John?" He asks with a smug grin, The seats are somewhat comfier than bus-seats but not amazingly comfortable.
"It beats riding the bus!" you chuckle. giving a smirk, Kim pulls into the Mackleroy's parking lot, the time is 4:50, 10 minute until you shift.
"And we're here." Kim say, turning back to you, "our last year's numbers for today were really high so expect to be busier."

"At the top of our schedule there's a 'projected sales' number and a 'previous year' number, the projected number is what we expect to make in sales on a certain day, the previous year was the amount of sales we made the previous year." Kim states matter-of-factually.
"I see, good to know." You resign yourself, rubbing the back of your neck. Kim get's out of the car in a huff, and Wally follows suit.
"Hmph... As for to what make's today special, I'm guessing it's the weekend before students leave for the holidays." Kim states. "So the college crowd wants to get some restaurant food in them before they go home." She says blowing into her mitt, the weather has taken a turn for the cold.

You feel a sense of dread loom over the building and your fellow coworkers, as you step inside the building the warm air rushes past you and lightens the mood a little bit, you turn to Kim and Wally.

"John's right, we just need to be positive, right?" Wally say's turning to Kim.
"Yeah..." She mutters with a small smile on her face, it's actually somewhat cute. You all walk into the break room and take off your coats, in the room already is Jenna who gives you a warm smile and Alex the newer server.

You pound out the last of the dishes with amazing efficacy, You see Jenna bringing towers of dishes to both to the front of the house and back of the house. You decide to help her out, you reach for a tower of dishes and simultaneously Jenna reaches for the same tower, you two end up touching hands, a blush comes across both your faces, you steel yourself and grab to tower and bring it to the kitchen. After a minute or two you're done.
"Wooh finally!" you exclaim out loud, Jenna laughs.
It wasn't so bad, we're only leaving half hour late, not bad at all." Jenna says patting your shoulder.
"I guess, you were right though it felt like it passed by faster than normal." You respond as you clock out.
"Mmmhmm" She says almost in a sassy tone. "Well heading out, see you tomorrow." She winks at you.
"See you tomorrow." You grin at her. "Hope you're prepared to be amazed by my skills." You say braggingly.
"I'll have to see that for myself!" She laughs as she head out the back. You head to the front and the cooks are done with their drinks.
"Alright, ready to head out?" Wally asks.
"Yeah, shall we?" you look to Kim.
"Sounds good to me." She humorously scoots on the scooter, you all say your goodbyes to Nick who is drinking another Beer. You all walk to the car, get situated and drive off.

I wish I could hunt some times. I have many of my relatives who do hunt and brink back their kills. I'm just damn busy with my job to do so. We have deer EVERYWHERE here. As well as wild turkeys, Wild hogs and some black bear besides the smaller game critters. The other thing that is not hunted enough is the damn coyotes. They are a menace and they do kill pets and threaten people.
