I feel bad for creating a new thread just to ask this question (especially since it's a pretty newbie one), but I don't know where to ask it, so here it is: is there any other notable wargame beside W40K, Age of Sigmar, and Warmahordes? I didn't find anything on 1d4chan eitherbut I probably didn't search correctly
In contrast to GW's games, I dislike the apparent lack of customisation in Warmahordes (see: your dudes), but I'm sick of GW's settings and aesthetics, and I would like to try something new. Any ideas? Also, unrelated picture

Well even if they're GW products, the LOTR and Hobbit games are actually pretty fun.
Infinity is pretty "your dudes", it has really different rules though.

There's that one game you play with Legos? Mobile Frame or something, I think?

Thank you very much, guys. Mobile Frame Zero looks particularly interesting. I will look it up. Still open to new suggestions, though.

Do you think I'm a newfag?

No. But it's a great game.

>something new
Well, you could fish around for a historical wargame that suits your fancy. Chain of Command is pretty interesting.

Infinty
Dropzone Commander
Firestorm Armada
Bolt Action
Flames of War
Warzone
I can rattle off probably another ten or so games, although one might not consider them "notable" since they're a little less well known.

Arguable, but it's an RPG, not a wargame, and therefore irrelevant to the thread.
