My artisan treats droids like a native American treats buffalo, and darkside be damned if that means I have to abandon good scrap. The DM should have learned my MO by now after the last protocol droid NPC I deactivated then diligently recycled into star ship components, spare parts for our own loyal damaged protocol droid, and a weapon modification for the one squeamish party member that objected to my utilitarian use of a tool.
