Alright chaps, until the Imperial Navy shifts their arses and drops those Heretics, we're stuck on this Inquisitorial Warship.
I shouldn't have to remind you lot to be on your BEST behaviour. But I will. By the Emperor be polite, keep to yourselves and 'borrow' NOTHING.
>>
Welp, I've started my new job last week and now I can still come here on mondays, but I have to interrupt my part mid-sesion, however I'm still able to rejoin a few hours later. So... about 2 hours from here I'll have to be gone and after another set of 2 hours I should be clear to return.
>>
>>43908305
Yeah well I won't give em cause for offense, but if I give it unintentionally, killing me will be a hell of a chore...

*growls and sits on a marble bench, begins cleaning flamer*
>>
>>43908336
You only work 2 hours? I want your job...
>>
>>43908352
Part-time job, 2 hours each morning, 2 hours each afternoon, I have a carreer to end you know.
>>
>>43908336
No worries mate, real life is priority one. I do hope you shall have fun while you're here.

>>43908338
>Alice 'wanders' towards one of the Cargobay's exits.
>The rest of the Praetorians, all busy with fixing the Chimera's along with Metal Slug are oblivious.

Don't worry about it mate. I do need to find Greely though, need to talk to him about....things.
>>
Also, currently on the traitor crashed cruiser, there are necrons and tau attacking, and some word bearers champions have started rebelling on Virmanthras because they're tired of following his streak of failures, so antagonist activity will be a bit low from my end for now, I kinda want to keep the big battle for once I've already returned from my job.

Also, reminder to newcomers that we have a Steam Group and an 1d4chan Wikipage
>>
Im here early, thats new.[/spoiler[

ggggeeeetTTTT your hot meals here! Grilled meat! Thick soup! Good booze! Nuts and bolts salad! And even devil toad suprise!

I don't care, just glad that's bloody over. Need to thank Greely for saving me the ammo.

Nuts and Bolts.....I'm honestly alarmed. Well done.

We'd certainly welcome you along if we got accepted mate, Emperor knows it would do us all some good. Some of us more than others....

Although we wouldn't be really be part of a Penal Regiment if this happened. The most I can see happening is 'officially' being 'inducted' as Greely's Retunite.
>>
>>43908664
Why are you keeping the holy scriptures along with the titty mag?

>>
>>43908686
Yeah ain't that the truth. Wait, Greely is an honest to Throne Inquisitor? Thought he was seconded from the Adeptus Arbites.

Well, would it be so bad to let this thing evolve into something else? Something less micky mouse and more straight up, Expendables style ops?
>>
>>43908697
Hey, anyone know where Khat is? We DID extract her right? I never seen her on the Valk.

>>43908711
He's just a Detective, but with him working for the Inquisition then he's close enough eh?
Just like with the Imperial Guard, when drop out of the Warp and say the Emperor demands your loyalty then you'd believe we're speaking for him.

Honestly I'd be all for it just saying that we wouldn't really be Penal Regiment /tg/ anymore. Unless it was only a few of us(Meaning most of the PC's) that got inducted. Unless we all got inducted and the Regiment officially stays a Penal Regiment to hide the imminent doom of the enemy?
>>
So how does this thing work, and what has it that makes it better than other rolepaying groups on /tg/?

We were on the ship after the Geller field failed, and the demons were everywhere. After taking out some of the daemonettes in the generator room, I closed my eyes to catch my breath. Then suddenly I couldn't open them, and first it got real loud, then it got real hot, then it got really slimy, then it got really quiet, and then it got... unspeakable.

When I opened my eyes, I couldn't feel anything and I have no idea how much time has passed. I was at the bottom of a ventilation shaft on this ship. Like this.

>Gestures to his mechanical body.

I'd heard of the tribulations of the warp, but I had no idea it could be this pronounced. I don't know where or when I've been.

Mate, I need to ask something of our 'host'. Can I trust you to find Alice for me?
>>
>>43911495
Erm... What be those?
>>
>>43911483
> crawls out of the vents
Exshterminatus? When? What did I missh?
>>
>>43911495
Jumping from orbit? We Felix Baumgartner now.

Eh? We're going back down, into the necrons, tau and traitors? That seems, uh, dangerous.
>>
>>43911495
By the Emperor.....I don't suppose you've got some Praetorian-Pattern Carapace in Woodland DPM too?
Right, get the men prepped for a Low-Orbit Drop, like I said, need to put on my polite face.
>>
>>43911534
*grins*
Well hey there Sis, care to freshen up?
*offers flask of Lictor whiskey*
>>
>>43911534
Whoa!... No hearsay here. I speak just facts, thank you very much.
>>
>>43911563
Why aren't we using the Thunderhawk? It has my tank in it still doesn't it?
>>
>>43911582
Uh. No, no, shhshsh, I need, I need to find shumone- I remember, shumtin' about shenosh all over the place an'then, then I wash in the vents...
Uh.
>>43911583
Wha? What did i shay?
>>
>>43911595
You can't have an honor duel from inside a tank.
>>
>>43911595
Too slow mate, even if the Pilot took her in at a dive, ground fire could still bring it down, we'll need to send in some Drop Troopers first to secure an LZ.

Remember, our peeps have no idea that we have inside help. Also what's Gary's full name again? It was Garian Something. I need it for reasons.
>>
>>43911635
Ah, don't you worry about it just come with me and we'll find the xenos.

*picks her up, armor and all*
>>
>>43911635
Erm... Just making sure... *Closes the pocket containing his small wooden statues*
>>
>>43911652
Son of a bitch. Fine...

*grabs a grav chute*

Should we take this drunk Sister or leave her?

Garian Lawzom is his given name, yeh
>>
>>43911657
We gonna fight shenosh?
> waves a chainsword happily
>you can't but notice it is a very dirty chainsword
> dirty being a gentle word for soaked in blood
Weeee! Where'sh out transhport?
>>
>>43911563
I'm afraid that I don't have much use for armor anymore.
these are triarch praetorian jump packs to be clear.
>>
Right chaps, get yourselves ready for combat and Gary, take your new....err.....friend and try and find Alice aye? Time to be impeccably polite.

>Arthur nods to the group then turns and walks out of the Cargobay towards the Command Center.
>Anyone who may have been looking earlier will have seen Alice head in the direction of the Chapel.

Roight switching to bitch wot needs to be found while Arthur goes full Praetorian with A Inquisitor.
Speaking of: Sorry Greely, but the fact of the matter is that the Regiment simply needs more Officers. An assault of this scale really can't be led by NCO's only. You can decide whatever you wish to restrict it with later, or if it was even your Inquisitor he talked to when you're on....but yeah, I'll stfu now.
>>
>>43911710
We dropping in hot, sis!

*holds her still and straps on a grav chute*

Stay here till we're ready...
>>
>>43911808
Thash Amelia, y'know.
>carefully tries to follow gary, stumbling after him
Y'know what. I cannut shtand shenosh. I hope, hope we kill a lot. Don't you?
>>
>sits in the Chapel praying silently, eyes still open.
>>

>>
>>43911954

>>
>>43911967
Arthur is talking to the bosses bosses boss while most of the others are preparing for a Grav-Drops and Gary is....cozying up to the drunken SoB. Doesn't suprise me really. Although I'm wondering if he IC just has a thing for Space Nuns or whether it's the hair.
Also this thread is the ultimate kill tonight.
>>
>>43911967
you're getting ready for a grav jump
>>
>>43912010
FUCKING. SPOILER. FUCK.
>>
>>43911954
Need sumfin' for 'er? De-tox seems 'ta work fer cases like 'ers.
>>
>>43911984

>>43912043

>>
>>43912146

>>
>>43911984
Are... is she talking about me?
>>
>>43912010
Lol, he likes Sisters cause they know how to lay a righteous fire on the foe, and do it just as well as Catachans. Plus he serves the Emperor, and they're daughters of the Emperor. And they dont smell as bad as Catachan girls. So yeah, he's got a thing for em.
>>
>>43912146
>shuffles back into the Cargobay after a few minutes, looking somewhat fatigued.

I'm needed here?
>>
>>43912146
Canoness says me better not fight sobeh, ruins mah aim. Woun'you haf sum more drinkin', ah?
>>
>>43912216
*mutters* No matter if 'e wants, I need one...
>>
>>43912196
Nah, just drunk. But I suggest you make yourself scarce when she sober up, or else lay your cogboy disguise on thick.

Don't get me wrong about helping your metal ass out, I have every intention of melting you when the time is right, but for now, you're useful to us... Also because I'm not the kind of dick who'll do that without a reason
>>
Lets get to the planet ! How long does it take to prepare those damned dropships. There heretics won't kill themself. Or even worse, maybe they are already dead when we arrive. Am I the only one here who wants to deliver the Emperors fury!?
>>
>>43912216
Don't mind if I do... *drinks from his flask* well, can you fight in melee sober?

>>43912215
Your brother was asking for you. You ok? Need to sit this one out?
>>
>>43912255
Weeee! Heretic'n'shenosh! Burn them at the stake!
>spins on herself, swinging the chainsword
>>43912251
M'better be drunk for thish one, y'know...
-What yer talkin' about? Meltin' who?
>>
>>43912255
We all do QM, I can't make the servitors work faster.

>>43912216
Were you the one asking about a SoB or Ogryn role earlier?
>>
>>43912295
Never you mind, Sis Amy. You always drunk for everything?
>>
>>43912310

>Sets the heresy box on a table and starts waving the group over whilst clicking repeatedly.
>>
>>43912295
*evades the swinging sword*
Keep calm Sister. The heretics are on the planet and not here on the ship.
>>
>>43912255
We will deploy when we recieve Deployment Orders, not before, such is the will of the Emperor.

>>43912283
Unless I recieve orders to do so, I shall join the assault. As the Emperor wills.

Also yeah, what was 'Garian's' Surname again? Everyone knows Praetorians like making everything formal.
>>
>>43912322
Reminds me a bit of Gaurun.
>>
>>43912335
Mhhh, y'say? Dun you know, the herretic can be anyone! ANYONE!
Even you!
>>43912322
Or you!
Mh, no, no, no, only when I haf to do sumthing important.
>>43912310
Yup
>>
Sir I heard someone talking about "daemons"
what is a daemon?
>>
>>43912340
How can it be the Emperors will to allow those filthy heretics to taint this galaxy for even a second longer?
>>
>>43912380
Lil filthy pile o' Warp.
>spits on the ground
>>
>>43912404
I'm going to sleep now, have fun guys
>>
Alright, the levels of stagnation this thread is getting are ridiculous, time to speed things up.

>A violet light forms around the relic given the glorious carnage happening around it.

IT IS UPON US!

>A beam of pure light emerges from it, going through the planet's skies, shattering the surrounding clouds.

BARE WITNESS UNBELIEVERS! MY ASCENSION IS CLOSE BY!
>>
>>43912384
It is simply the will of the Emperor that our orders take time.

>Arthur marches back into the Cargobay, Colour Sergeant's stripes conspiculously absent from his uniform, followed by a pair of Riflemen lugging crates.
>He marches over to Battleaxe and gestures towards Gary.
>"Sergeant, I require your presence.....and good work finding our Ensign."
>>
>>43912348
Yeah... I miss him.
>>43912353
Fair nuff, Sis... *drinks*
>>43912340
Lawzom
>>
>>43911175
> a voice booms across the field of battle
> look and see, noble councilors. This is the filth that my brother would collude with to wrest control of our father's dynasty.
>>
>>43912327

>Continues waving and begins clicking frantically as the box starts visibly vibrating...
>>
>>43912559
Ah yes, what's this then?
>>
>>43912536
Eh?
*looks up from ogling Sister Amelia*
What can I do for ya Skelly?
>>
>>43912559

Oh fuck me I forgot to change my namefag from Dornan to 9.
>>
>>43912551

See, it's not tha-
>>43912574
's going on here?
>>
>>43912580

Or spoiler, for that matter.
>>
>>43912555
You Xeno filth! I'd rather die than agree to an alliance to any of your kind! I'll be coming for all of you once the ritual ends!
>>
>>43912588
Hang on, Amy, be right back, lemme see what Skelly wants...
>>
If the don't manage to get us out of this ship then we have no other option than to take the ship with us.
*runs in direction of the bridge*
>>
>>43912607
>Pop's up behind you with big smiling skull face
>>
>>43912614
Yeah, see if you can't make em dock the ship in low orbit, like we did with our own.
>>
>>43912619
Well howdy!
*pats him on the head*
>>
>>43912614
>>43912629
Couldn't we just, uh- I suppose no drop pods, aight?
>>
>>43912574
>Arthur pulls a small pouch from his breast pocket and tosses it to Gary.
>"Sergeant Garian Lawzom, you are promoted to Regimental Sergeant Major, effective immediately. You can wear that brassard till we can get you something more permanent.
>"Quartermaster 113851920, Deputy Assistant Quartermaster General, effective....."
>Arthur raises a hand to his Combead and responds with a basic "Yes Sir".
>"Alright men! We're going in now! Grab your Chute and drop immediately!"
>>
>>43912629
Ähm...yes. Of course that was what I had
in mind.
>>
>>43912589

>Continues waving anybody nearby over as the box continues to shake with greater intensity...
>>
>>43912661
Well alright! Ill give this back soon as i tatoo on the new rank. Thanks Skelly, or is that Sir now?
>>
>>43912695
... What is that y've there, Techie?
>>
>>43912661
Alright, in order to use these without killing yourselves, you need to listen to me very carefully.

>goes through a crash course on how to use the packs correctly
>>
>>43912718
Indeed.
>>
>>43912695
>>43912718

>Removes the clamp in double-time, before pressing one of his robotic hands to the biometric scanner and searching for the key with the other...
>>
>>43912704
Very perceptive, yes, I got myself promoted to Captain. There are other promotions too, but it's been made apparent that we're out of time so I'll need to announce them later.

>Both Riflemen drop the crates near the Chimeras then run to grab Grav Chutes.

Grab a Bolter from that Box Gary, Quartermaster then grab your chutes. Things just went to hell and we need to drop NOW.

>grabs his own Bolter and scrambles outside for a Chute and equipment.
>>
>>43912718
Don't you worry bout it Sis, it's contained is all you need to know. *guides her back to seat* What's your rank? You just a Battle Sister?

What is in the box is porn of Ensign Alice, conjured into existence by our Blank Laroque's filthy imagination, among other heretical things
>>
>>43912782
*salutes*
Aye aye, sir. And congratulations.
>>
>>43912795
> Amelia stares suspiciously, but lets the techpriest go
Ya. I'm, mh, going to be promoted though. Soon. Really. Are we dropping or not!?
>>
>>43912762
Wait, are you OPENING the heresy box?! This can't be good.
>>
>>43912782
Then let us charge! For the Emperor!
>>
>>43912830
Yup! Get your gear together, see ya on the ground!

*jumps after Skelly*
>>
>>43912598
>"see, my court? the warp-thing lies, just like Nyzart. truly they plot to bring about our downfall."
>>
>>43912824
Pfft, enough of that 'Sir' nonsense, if I know you then it's Arthur or Skelly, unless it's official business, bit that's a given.

>clips into his chute and turns to address the men.

Alright listen up! We need to drop ahead of our Aircraft and clear an LZ to drop the our Armoured Vehicles. If you land too far out then head for....well you'll see it when we jump and set up a watch post. We clear?!
>>
>>43912884
Ah Nyzart. I'll make sure to send him your condolences when I take his skull as trophy... by bashing him with yours.

Warriors! Keep the Necrons at bay! The ritual is almost complete, the artifact is charged and responding, soon I'll be able to force my own ascension!

AND WHERE THE HELL IS VILUS?!
>>
>>43912898
>Stands behind with Grav chute
>Breathing heavily

>god emperor, it is high
>like really high
>I don't wanna.
>like, no.
>... I need another drink.

Aye, s-sir!
>Amelia quickly recovers her flask and drinks from it

FOR EMPEROR, AND IMPERIUM! CHAAAAAARGE!!!
>>
>>43912947
>you know what, it seems even higher-
>Amelia jumps finally, but with her eyes closed
>>
I'm interested in joining, can someone give me a rundown of what's going on right now and what I should sign up as?

>>43913120
I had no idea, yet I am here. Roll with it, I guess.
>>
>>43913120
>>43913138
Right now we're grav-chuting from orbit to assault a word bearers sorcerer who is also being attacked by necrons. the sorcerer is about to ascend to daemonhood, but is on a tomb world, thus the necrons. sign up as anybody you like. we have mostly guardsmen, but we've also had sisters of battle, techpriests, an ork in disguise, and I myself am a necron lord.
>>
Ah! The slaves of the false emperor fall upon us, gracing us with souls for the feast!

>By this point Virmanthras' armor is already exhuding warp energy and his whole right arm became made of warp-stuff.

Warriors! Bring me their souls!
>>
>>43913120
We're currently doing the 40k equivalent of the Pre-D-Day Airborne Landings, to stop a Chaos Sorceror from achieving Daemonhood. And you can basically join as anything loyal that's IG-Tier.

>>43913077
>Alice looks up at Amelia
"Sister, count to ten, opens your eyes and activate your Grav Chute. Trust me."
