Same problem as Illuminated Lady. Compared to the knights and monsters, he doesn't have particularly striking armor/weapons/design, and his pose is somewhat static.
It also doesn't help that he lacks the sex appeal of the pinups. It seems twink males sell much better than beefcake, if the male witch apprentices are any indication.

It's not a tabletop RPG, it's actually a board game, actually a board game, not even a tabletop war game. Possibly the board game with the highest entry price ever released.
The game by all accounts of anyone who has ever played and commented on it is great, but I honestly cannot recommend it to someone new even off of this. Figuring out how to work it out with you and your friends could end up being a pain and unlike most board games, pieces here do not come preassembled.
Also if you're being guided by your dick, I must warn you that the actual game is not really sexy at all. That's a clever marketing lie used to lure sorry folks like you and I here. If you've put together Gundams then it might not be so bad though. Some of the stuff is a bit silly but from my experience, the KD models are much better designed to be pieced together than some other bullshit brands. Seriously, fuuuuuck Malifaux.

The miniatures are fairly simple to assemble. Some of the more intricate ones take a little more time, but overall it's not like you're assembling a model plane or anything. You can assemble one of the easier ones in under five minutes.

Pinups are pinups, they don't have any rules but you can of course use them as stand in if you want to. The main game comes with three different armor kits, and each major expansion (yet to get a general release) has an armor kit unique to that expansion. This game is not WYSIWYG, but some people might want more armor kits to fully represent their Survivor, or just want it for hobby/painting purposes, or whatever.
The armor kits in and of themselves do not have any rules attached to them, the rules are in the core game and the upcoming expansions. I have no idea if the armor kits will be sold seperately after Black Friday, but considering the $50 is crossed out one can make a pretty safe assumption that it will be sold in the future as well. Maybe after wave 3 shipments has been sent. Don't count on the Promo Collection to be sold after Black Friday, as Poots has stated that they will only be sold during special events or habbenins.

The armor pieces come in torsos in legs. You aren't glueing itty bitty armor pieces to a naked body.
Naked refers to the fact that they don't have any additional art, cards, etc.
If they gave the Apotheosis Male a more dynamic pose, I bet it would've sold better. As it was he felt like a lesser man[/spoiler]let[/spoiler]'s Chosen. Maybe if he went full Zyzz or Araki in his pose he would've stood out more.

I was sort of understanding but sad when I found out the gane was moving from resin to hard plastic. However, upon getting my copy, I have to say that I am really pleased with the detail quality. There are a lot of parts to each model, but that allowed them to keep a lot of details, and the mold lines are very faint and easy to clean up.
I'd take photos of the minis, but my phone has a shit camera.

All the core models: White Lion, Screaming Antelope, Phoenix, Butcher, King's Man, King's Hand, and The Watcher.
The promo models just got their challenge scenarios: All messengers, Guts, Ayla, Linkle, Kamina; Kara Black; and Candy and Cola.
The Sunstalker, Slendy and Gorm seem to be the furthest along expansions. At least from what's been spoiled.

Just had a demoralizing defeat against a level 2 Kingsman. Whole table lost survivors they were super attached to from that and from a terrible hunt roll we had ( Titans gobbled up Prometheus ).
Anyone else chart their family trees out? We managed to get by with one one accidental case of incest between two half-siblings, which seemed okay.

They can be partially cursed. The one landing the killing blow still has to roll on the table, and are affected by the curse, they just don't get the gear, and since they don't have that, it means the curse doesn't pop back up in future fights.
But it still affects you. You are immune to the gear, not to the story event that gives it.

Spoilers for the hand: Best fight in the game. One card where if you have the understanding you see through his act and realize he's not actually angry. Add to that the colored eye tricks and the general feeling of fun with all his unique rules and damn. I hope we see more like him coming up in xpaxs, but his attitude will always hold a special place in my heart now.
And one know how people find face bases with huuuuge faces? The hand deserves his own nice base, and I'd like to know if there's somewhere special, or if it's just a random face repurposed for the base.

Well, it should take a few layers of thinned down paint to get full coverage. For normal layers you want a milk like consistency. Thinner for washes and glazes.

Like, you wouldn't go "oh, the twilight knight showed up, and the best survivor is a savior, so let's just not even bother to roll on the table that can cause stuff to happen other than gaining the piece of gear"
Or you wouldn't get a 100 on the hunt table and go "Oh, we nominate the savior, so just skip the ENTIRE REST OF THE HUNT EVENT"
Because that is fucking stupid. Event still happens, you just don't get gear. You are immune to one of the consequences of the event. Not the event itself.
