What's the most 90s extreeeeeeeme you've ever had for a fantasy character?
My first 3.0 character was a half-orc paladin named Fenris Ragnarok. He was metal as fuck in a cheesy 90's power metal way.
The only character I'd ever gotten to play before i was forever dm'd was a dwarf barbarian named Drongar Thongar. My friends and i were in high-school and the game was barely a step above free form honestly. Drongar was a dwarven barbarian who fought with two axes magically bound to lengths of chain kind of like Kratos' swords in God of War, and he'd fight large monsters by throwing the axes so hard they would embed themselves into the enemy and then he'd use the chains to wrestle them to the ground with his god like strength. Also he had a bitchin mohawk.

WoD is fantasy, right?

Never made an Extreme 90's character before as I remember the 90's as bad music, worse clothes, and good movies
I made a Bard once that was inspired by 80's Hair Metal. Specifically Manowar. High STR, High CHA, no shirt, leather pants, and a long blonde mane that put the princess to shame.
just look at these guys, they already look like an adventureing party
My dream is to play in an all bard party in an 80's heavy metal themed campaign that end in a rock off against a hell knight

WoD is the most 90's game ever made.

Sounds like something TG would love

All of the individual bosses you fought along the way join for the final battle assembled as the Hell Knight's Band to rock off against you.

You have good taste in music.
My dark Herasy as character, Rage

I made a gangster ninja for an IN SPAAAACE game named Pink Tiger. He was the last member of his ninja clan, the Wu Tang. He wore Kamen Rider esque armor under his Space McDonald's uniform, and was pretty crazy.
That game was the only one I have played that ended in the ushering of a dark age of law.

Fuck yeah I'd play with you, that idea is rad. I call dibs on Kip Winger.

Well, I had a colorblind explosive specialist, who was constantly smoking weed and carried at least 5 pounds of assorted explosives on his person.
That was one epic one-nighter.

My GM once made the main cast of Battle Chasers (a late 90's Image comic) as npcs in a D&D game we did and just changed some named. Battle Chasers is (mostly) fantasy so it wasn't too intrusive.

Did any of youended up fucking Red Monica?
ITT: kids who don't know how restrained and subtle the 90's were, compared to the One True Decade of excess, the 1980's

Reganomics dubs
My original idea for the 3.5 game I'm in was Dread Necro/Bard/Dirgesinger.
It came to me when I realized that Dread Necros ran on Charimsa, like bards.I never got to run it.

No, but the DM let me play as Red Monica after my own PC died. It was fun.

I was told gypsys in my larp were like big hair rockers....I have a zebra stripe/leopard print gypsy with a wig planned out in my head until I realized the wig would make larping stupid so I settled on fantasy jew

A battle bard must have an axe.
An axe that is also an axe.
>>43837794
Honestly nothing 90s themed specifically, but once I made a glam-rock space captain bard named Flash Nebula. He played a keytar that fired beams at his enemies and the rest of the party was stylized similarly, with a cosmic psychodelic wizard and heavy metal dwarf space barbarian along with our four armed alien rogue that played his enemies like a drum.

>tfw playing WoD
>one guy shows up playing the literal vampire version of Lorenzo Lamas in Renegade
>everybody's poking good-natured fun at the guy
>okay Anon who are you playing
>A Gangrel - he doesn't look like he's seen a real shower in weeks. The flannel around his waist could probably stand up on its own, and the t-shirt he's wearing is a sort of brown-grey smear
>we go about our business, wind up getting caught in the rain
>the rain soaks the Gangrel so bad it starts to leech all the gunk out of his shirt, a small logo visible visible on the left side of his chest
>"Oh really, what's it say Anon?"
>No Fear
>tfw
OK, i didn't play this character, BUT it was the first drawfag pic i saved when i first discovered /tg/ waaay back. Some day however i WILL play Thunderpants the Dwarven Bardbarian of Metal.
And shit will be glorious.

Gold star idea right there.

Not a fantasy character, but I played in a short-lived Terra Formars campaign.
My (American) character was DAN EAGLEMAN, a disgraced football star who'd been implanted with rhino DNA. He fought solely with football tackles and interceptions. His personal weapon was a ground-only jetpack, so he could run faster and crash through people like the Juggernaut.
He eventually died fighting his way to a self-destruct system in order to make his final touchdown, while having visions of his glory days on the field. Before the drugs. Before the dead hookers. Before the accident. Before the bad times.
