Flavor wise, shouldn't death counters send the creature to the graveyard or make them a zombie (or similar subtype)? Seems like they're closer to petrification counters

Terance needs to reveal the card, and you need to make it cost a minimum of 1 soul counter or you can pull out every land in your deck for free.

I'd suggest:
"Remove one or more soul counters from Terance of the Republic: Search your Library for a card with converted mana cost equal to or less than the number of soul counters removed this way, reveal it, put it into your hand, then shuffle your library. And I assume The Grey Dragon has the only ability that puts a soul counter on stuff?

The theme was sticking together effects on sorceries/instants. Flashback is kinda cool on "choose X or Y" cards because you can pick something different on each casting. Entwine just increases the possible options.

It was also an effort to make a sorcery from the random "robot war" art I found.

You can only sacrifice creatures you control, to the "you control" part is redundant. Also it's "Put that many +1/+1 counters on ~".

This ability is very close to the Devour mechanic that Jund had in Shards of Alara, though your version is a triggered ability instead of a replacement effect, which makes it a lot worse against spot removal.

Finally, WotC has moved away from having both +1/+1 and -1/-1 counters in the same set, so having both types on the same card might be extra confusing. One way to fix it could be to give the creature great base stats, but enter with a number of -1/-1 counters, and then having an option of sacrificing creatures to move the -1/-1 counters to other creatures.

(Addiction is mechanic that's not implemented but works as stated. At the beginning of your upkeep put an addiction counter on this permanent. The addiction usually causes an effect akin to loss-of-life, but may take other forms such self-mill, -1/-1 counters, etc. The effect that the card produces is "recast" at the beginning of each turn, like an epic.)

Also this looks like cumulative upkeep that you can't stop at will.

Another way to make the mechanic work would be:

I like the Forest Creeper design a lot, but I think it needs to be nerfed. As it is, the defending player either blocks it and loses a creature, or does not block and loses a creature. I'd make it 1/2 instead so it trades more easily. This would make the gameplay more interactive and require the attacking player to do some tricks to get it through.

I have slight problems with huckster since the destory effect and ritual feel disjointed in both mechanics (When I need removal is not necessarily when I need ritual) and flavour (I'm not sure what huckster means, but isn't that selling something from door to door, not killing a thing and draining it's essence?). Also black should not be able to destroy neither artifacts or enchantments.

There's no point in setting life to 5 if you lose at the next phase. Either you win, or you don't.
It's also a pretty poorly designed card, because 99 times out of 100, it just says "5BBBB: I Win", which is not a design philosophy Wizards likes to support.

Platinum Angel is 7 colorless mana for a flying beater with a static ability.
This is 7 with 6 colored for a Legendary artifact with a activated drawback.

It seems reasonable, but I'd jam a {Tap} on there to be safe. Something about repeatable prevention of game loss, as well as repeatable fogging on a non-creature is worrying to me.
Maybe halving damage/life loss as per Gisela, Blade of Goldnight instead of totally preventing it will keep it from being borked.

Alright that's good to know, I've only ever seen a Lich/Angels Grace effect one or two times myself so I really don't know how strong the effect can be. What about making it half damage and life loss for a reduced cost like 1BW or something?

I just figured this would be a secret Obzedat relic and repeatable "I'm so rich I can buy my life" was overpowered within reason. I mean you'd need 8 mana open for the lack of tap to really matter but like I said I don't really know how strong this effect can be.

It's usually not super relevant, but it fits kinda nicely into a control shell. Leave up four duals for counters/Angel's Grace. The fact that it's 100% repeatable is just dangerous, that's all.
Remember that taking no damage means that aggro decks just lose if you land and protect this. There's no hope.
It also stops combo, repeatedly. I'd play around with it, but it seems strong enough to keep an eye on it.

I should say that nearly every card I post in these threads is thought about solely in an EDH environment. That's why everything is usually a Mythic and Legendary, I'm not regular enough in other formats to know the effect they would have.

Okay, I did some fixing on it based on feedback and broke the ability up into two abilities (which is what it really is). The one on the left is closer to what you'd see on an actual card for reference length and the one on the right is with all that reminder text spilling everywhere because MSE doesn't do well with multiple reminders.

To make it less wordy:

1. Black resistance/Resist black
2. "Counter it"
3. You dont need to use the dash ( - ) in effect names. You use dash, if the effect varies from creature to creature a d a simple number doesnt completely indicate the effect.

For ex,
Renown 1 (the number explains what happens)
Bloodrush - 2R: You get +X/+Y (2R doesnt explain the effect fully).

That's not how you spell Simic.

For the first ability, make the -1/-1 counters the cost. Otherwise you can pump your board at the expense of a 1/1 token. I also think it feels better an en enchantment rather than an artifact.
I'm surprised no one jumped down your throat yet for mixing counters.
